  • 3.0 TDI DPF – Emergency Run

    Hello! I have been having problems with the engine for a long time. (3.0 TDI BMK, EZ 2005, about 195 000 km) The car was the last 10 000 km often in the emergency run (55 km/h, no more power) and the DPF warning light came. The first time an emergency regeneration was carried out at Audi, today I did it myself with VCDS for the second time. In the error memory I find no plausible errors? Is it normal that he has not regenerated himself since about 1400 km? At the fault memory as well as data for emergency regeneration. Thanks in advance.

    Is the thermostat also changed when changing the timing belt (V8)? One and a half years ago, the large timing belt service including large (deure) inspection was carried out with me. Or is this offered optionally? No one asked me for it. The water pump and many other parts such as tensioning rollers etc. were taken care of. Is the thermostat also called a cooling regulator?

    Dear Phaetonists, I am still on the road in the Audi camp, but have loved the Phaeton for a long time. What was actually installed at the end of 2005? – Current navigation software is still available and perspective-free? – Air suspension should be standard, or ? The car and the equipment are a dream. I drive only 10-12 tkm p.a., so the car should be happy for a few more years (hopefully without bitches). I thank you for a short feedback.

    Hello Together, despite the warm temperatures, I wanted to run my heater in between. When turning on only the blower goes on.? the burner does not.? and at the front then smells like exhaust gases.? Is the normal in the warm weather.? Or does it jump only in the winter.? the tack noise what comes from behind, is present to me only the ignition of the burner. Had the diva just in the inspection. When reading out no error was recognized and the heater expert was on vacation. Maybe one of you has a good advice. Greeting

    Good evening, all of you, after I’ve been following this forum for a while as an observer, I would like to mention a topic that might be of interest to others at the moment. Due to the current exchange rates British Pound/Euro are currently bought in GB cars quite cheaply, VW UK is currently offering the V6 TDI base for 38,650 pounds in an action, that is about 42, 000 euros, from the extras to be chosen on the British side, which would not seem to me to deviate from the German side either. In the Forum Audi Q5 it was reported that there is a possibility to order Audis in GB and to order with left-hand steering. Does anyone have experience with Phaetons from GB? Are there any differences to the German offered? And what would be important of course: How about the guarantee, is the claim to be in Germany, even if the car was bought in GB?

  • Couple the phone again, I’m freaking out…

    Hello comrades, after having been quiet with this topic for a long time, the problems come back. I now switch to o2. Then the Multicard works differently than with T-Mobil. I could choose between SIM card and phone storage in the menue ( Phaeton ). 2.Handy SE C 902, everything best sorted by surname. Access to the phone storage. One of them does not fit the other battery even faster empty, so again C902. Everything worked out, was not in the middle console. Charging telephone book was always announced and very long from the time. I phone – Bluetooth – battery life ? One of which I can’t fit the other battery even faster, so again P902. Everything was good again. I can’t get back to the phone with a call. How to call.

    Sers I wanted to ask if someone here from time to time drives some acceleration races behind ampeln ? when my dad and I had the w12 times for us it was a coincidence that a buddy with his dad stood next to us at the ampel (BMW 530d) short smaltalk…the phaeton was called an oversized polo…and then the dad meant to drive a race…naja we could drive so 100-200m on 2 tracks and then was a zipper…naja ampel green, bmw driver full on it and phaeton loudly my dad 3/4 gas….always driven right next to the bmw and slightly fall back then gave full gas and loosely sawed…yes that was my ampel(*hut*) experience ! did you also make some ? lg
