At Phaeton it would have to be at least 200000km … except the manufacturer knows that the quality is not right … Hopefully VW finally wakes up. The warranty rejections in case of design errors was just embarrassing! We buy in the company no more European vehicles, because there are up to 200000km ALWAYS repair costs. (We had tried it several times with Volvo, VW, etc. unsuccessfully) When buying the right Japanese are there the repair costs 0.- (In addition there are no downtimes) Hope dies last .. Gruss

Brake performance – what do you got?
Hello dear community, yesterday I had caught a little bit with @danielspassat and I would be interested in what you have so it is always sneezed that the P bad brakes has… 2011 TÜV MOS, Brakes probably made new and probably by ATE there at VW: VA 480-480 HA 330-360 2013 unfortunately TÜV Schetter not found… 2015 TÜV LB, Klötze still about 5-8mm 400-400 340-340 Becker Klötze, disc unknown. Verbated, 360 disc with the 0815 brake system so not the Brembo of the V10/W12 and also no ceramic (GP3/GP4)

Grill GP3 / GP4 “divided chrome”
Since I’m not known as a friend of the GP3, I decided to buy another Phaeton after a domestic discussion. Only this massive chrome grille always caused irritations with me (and of course other things). So: Grill disassembled and the crossstays in car color had to be coated with piano lacquer. Assembling was then also a lot of fun, for me personally (it’s of course a taste matter!!) the GP3 is “bearable” in this form from the front. So, this time not a photoshop, but converted into natura.

Conversion 5 to 4 seats – experience ?
I bought my ‘nearly’ dream car ‘, but 4 seats it is unfortunately not – there was never in silver met. and light grey leather. Now there is a rear 4 seater upholstery set that would fit for limp 180€ – there I become of course weak – has this ever been converted – the whole middle armrest part ? is the plug and play or deadly ? especially since I do not know if I get the ‘geile’ middle armrests system at all times; equipment I have the suitable base with 4 zones and ventilated rear seats. I’ve had to renew the injectors in the meantime, now the suction pipes have been renewed with throttles and since the brake change now lights up in the middle display “Tire control system not available” maybe someone can help me with advice. 3M Self-Luminous Mark?
Good morning, as already mentioned a few times, I am about to bring a beautiful fetong into my garage (date is coming Friday, then comes a short introduction of my new baby ). A few questions are still open, e.g. the one with the self-lighting license plate. The car is one of the few who have this from work. Now the original is absurdly expensive and probably not to get any more. However, I like such gadgets, therefore I have the retrofit solution of 3M in mind. The question is, whether I can just screw it to the Phaeti, or then the hyper-intelligent BUS system immediately alarms because the power consumption does not correspond to the target value… Does someone already have experiences with the part? How can I get out in case of doubt, whether this is going smoothly? Try it out, of course. But I don’t want to break anything, the electronics is quite sensitive. Does anyone have the original self-lighting license plate? Thanks in advance for the help!

Hello dear Phaeton community. I too let myself be persuaded to a Phaeton, admittedly not least because of the favorable leasing offer. I have to say that what I have experienced with this car so far is more than foreign to me as an ex and also again future BMW driver. At the Phaeton worlds bumping each other, high tech in the vehicle and unbelievably poor service and customer service on the other side. My personal highlight is the question, which has been lasting for over half a year, whether now partially decommissioning chrome on the trimmings is a culant or not. Dear company VW, that can be your serious…… how expensive is it then so a stupid chrome strip? And no, I have no acidic cleaners and no, for today’s environmental influences I bear as a driver little blame…… therefore the chrome is not even milky, or cloudy, but just not there again. With the exception of the chrome bars at the front… they are abolut o. Na something… But we talk about it, but here is a lot of goodness.

I’m aware that there are more expensive vehicles but also cheaper cars that are worse. should not be so thankful for me here.
