Hello to all, here is my short description, which happened to me on the weekend. Friday NM( 10.11.2017) I put my VW-Phaeton at lunchtime. In the evening, a hotel employee followed me that the light is still burning and the radio is on. I had the vehicle as always with the remote control closed and everything was off??? I wanted to open the car in the evening, however, this only worked manually with the key. In doing so, the alarm system triggered. I put the ignition key in the ignition lock, but also this attempt failed to turn off the alarm system. On Saturday morning(11.11.2017) the hotel staff tried to give me start assistance – but this failed. As a result, I called the ADAC, the employee did not fix a light fire odour.

Car rental, mobility guarantee, etc.
I have already tried the search function, but I did not find a suitable answer. I want to bring my car (GP0, MJ.06) to a workshop due to minor repairs (defected tweeter, door rails and water in the headlight housing). Since GMD and the positive list recommended a workshop that is further away, I have to come home somehow. Do I have to claim a free replacement car due to the mobility guarantee or other? The VIP service has been discontinued or (also for GP0?!)?

Oberliga vehicle and district class service (small stories)
Who can tell little stories about this fact. VW wants to place an upper class car, but the service in the workshops is unfortunately only at circle class level.

Problem with headrests Fondsitze Premium
We are one week proud owner of a Phaeton 3.0 TDI Bj 07/07 GP1 with almost 20,000 km on the clock. It’s really fun. It took a long time but finally we found a car that fit from equipment price and mileage. The good one has pretty much everything that the driving has pleasant and comfortable (comfort seats, ACC, side assist, DSP etc) and also the maldeite fund seat system Premium; we thought with it my 8 year old son something good (seat heating and massage are also really great) but the automatic testing of the headrests in the highest position is both for my son and for my wife (1,70m) an absolute NoGo; the head is supported null; in the operating instructions there are felt 38 warning signs with the indication that the correct adjustment of the headrests is living and on the rear seat is not to be appreciated with the answer, but the head is really to be found in the middle of a headrest.

dirty tricks
How did you get to him with the good nerves quickly. Know the trick multi-driver. More by chance last week on the trip to Euskirchen came up with the following situation. I had it rushed and constantly the nervous tension on a well frequented highway. It was not as pleasant as I imagined with my Phaeton. Then, behind me a SLK appeared with Bonner license plate and sat down the “overtaking turn signal”. So I was also annoying me and wanted to pass. I also did not get ahead faster than you behind me. So, don’t worry so, I thought up with me. But I left him behind and sat right behind him again. He was probably very happy because he was now rid of the “Passat” – he thought. From now on it was relaxed sliding behind him as a constant shadow. I was able to turn the distance radar on and kept constant distance to him when concentrating on the others.

Test drive 3.0 tdi with my dream car
Hello, there was an excellent thing to say on Friday in nice weather, a Phaeton 3.0 TDI with all the extras VK 40000.-€, 26000 Km Bj. 2008. After a long theoretical study, driving for 3 hours. Since I wanted to buy one. My first impression: • the space on the rear seats with a big driver (seat on stop) is not acceptable • Amature board looks like in a middle class • the control buttons are varied and confusing and the operation during the ride very exhausting • driving noises for a luxury limousine (polders roll noise) I felt too intrusive. • The acceleration of the vehicle and the diesel engine were for me the biggest disappointment (the seller then said I used a V8 which makes more fun but is more expensive!) • The park pilot for the rear obstacles is on day (suns) about the rear mirror not to recognize my old dream. • The radio navi is also not on the stand of time, for each country you have to put in the CD, no interfaces, no hard drive, no problem. no problem. I don’t have a list.

Phaeton entitlement to replacement car/car rental
Without wanting to prejudge justBjörn I would like to send the Phaeton drivers the following , officially sent by VW on the topic “replacement cars” , “cars” …… The sender is VW itself ,- and the *pdf file posted in the appendix of the current stand of things. I say yes: the local VW dealer is the biggest enemy of the Phaetons So much the busy boys in Dresden can not even build up , what the dealers with the butt again shout around. Greetings thickship user PS: the Phaeton service is still the best service within the upper class. But only theoretically…….

Ticken from the trunk…
Hello everyone, since today I have thought I don’t hear correctly when I heard a constantly sounding ticking from the trunk the morning after starting out. After I have made sure that not a terrorist has hidden his tool in my car or that the pendulum clock was forgotten by the grandmother I am actually stunned. From the outside it is heard relatively loud (inside a little quieter) and it has nothing to do with any inputs on my part (gas, brakes, any electronic controls). As far as I could locate it more precisely, it comes somewhere from the passenger area of the trunk, either towards the wheel box or towards the seat bench. But sometimes it gets faster and sometimes slower (always between 0.5 and 1.5 seconds per “tick”). But when it ticks, then exactly monotonous. Possibly a defective relay or something similar? Is just an unfavorable time now before New Year’s Eve… Greeting, Pete
