  • Question about Phaeton Model 2008 and Model 2009

Hello dear Phaeton community, yesterday I looked at a Phaeton 3.0 V6 TDI and tested it. First registration 3/2009. 239 hp and 71000 km on the clock. Price: 25300 EUR. That’s the Navi RNS 810 in it. As an alternative I have a 3.0 V6 TDI (232 hp, EZ 7/2008) in mind for 21900 EUR. That’s apparently still a model before the facelift, which probably took place between 2008 and 2009. It has only 56,000 km on the clock. It also has a navigation system in it. The seller of the younger car only meant that the 2008 model in relation to the Navi is not recommended, since the operation of the Navi and air conditioning over one and the same operating device takes place. If now the Navi is broken, automatically the climate does not work anymore. Is that true or does he just want to make me the 2008 model mis? What do you think about it in general? Can you buy a well-kept Phaeton year 2008 with 56,000 km without having to constantly think about the fact that you should not have used the 9 months of service?

  • good workshop in the Hamburg area and surrounding villages?!?!

Hello, I would be grateful for every tip that can recommend me a good VW workshop in the area of Hamburg and surrounding villages, also with personal experience. I have already visited 3 workshops, where I have had more or less bad experiences and in the spring there is a large inspection, which I would like to have carried out with a competent VW dealer, who knows the thickness. Many greetings from the north….

  • ACC mistake, does anyone have an idea?

Hello, in advance, I looked for such an ACC error here in the forum, but found nothing suitable in the execution. Have a GP1 BJ2008 with Frontassist (EZ08/2007 so one of the first) with a strange ACC error. Engine restart everything OK, go off, ACC on and up to the first vehicle in front of me, then immediately ACC error. Tempomat does not work, Frontassist does not work. After engine restart everything OK again until I activate ACC and sometimes meet a vehicle even without a vehicle in front of me, then again ACC error just like that. The error is not always there, but about 80%. Sometimes everything works as it should. Now comes the strange thing: “Display shows ACC error, but error memory is empty???????” Does anyone have an idea what it might be? Greeting Andreas

  • Who has experience with steering wheel claw in the Phaetom

Hello Phaetonists, Since we have just had unpleasant experiences with the Gulf, I am looking for a steering wheel claw that also blocks free access to the Navi and I may use this as needed in both vehicles. It’s important that the part is processed in a good quality way and nothing is damaged by the noble Phaeton steering wheel. As in the appendix, for example, such solutions look like this. I think that the cover of the Navis doesn’t have to be perfect now. When the assholes come at night, they certainly won’t want to try it out first, if it’s possible, but they’re looking for lighter victims somewhere. More important is that I know that the thing fits and doesn’t break anything. Ciao, Allsquatch

  • He’s gone

Today, after 12 years of Phaeton, the beautiful time has ended. Of all people, the car was picked up by a Poland today. I think I have been one of the very few, if not the only one, who was in Gibraltar with a Phaeton. That he was several times in Spain, Italy, southern and western France is nothing special. It was a nice time and pleasant travel. But, with regard to my retirement, he had grown a little tall and had to give way to a W204 250 CDI T 4 M. I can only say that buying this cart was a wrong decision. peso

  • Help with purchase decision Summer rims

Hello, please don’t be surprised, my user name still comes from the beginning times, in which I drove an A3 or S3. Now at the “more mature” age I got a Phaeton 3.0TDI Edition 5 about 3 months ago and now the question is, which summer rims come on it?! I know it is always a matter of taste about the rim size and the design but maybe the one or the other has a tip or maybe even a used set in the basement, which he would like to sell. Also I am always happy about a few sample pictures even if I have clicked here many hours through some threads I think at some point repeat the postings and contributions and certainly also this topic has been discussed several times already but nevertheless I am happy about suggestions and suggestions. In my narrow selection so far are: Tomason TN4 in 20″ or 22″ Royal GT in 22″ MTM Bimoto 21″ (only used to a reasonable price) Lorinser RS8 21″ (unfortunately to find something to be quite suitable for the occasion of the ride.

  • From photovoltaic modules to Phaeton

What does the Chinese solar industry have in common with the Dreden manufactory product? A whole lot:http://www.bild.de/…/…sche-autobauer-ins-visier-30746852.bild.html This would blow out the light for good to the Phaeton. Although it is a report of the Bildzeitung, there will still be a “mighty” problem for the German importers and manufacturers. And all this in addition to the problem that the China paragraphs of the Phaeton are supposed to crumble violently since this year… Perhaps the godfather of the Phaeton, Dr. Piech already knows more than anyone else, and has therefore transported the Phaeton to the museum. dsu

  • Stand heating burner exchange

Hello, does someone have experience with replacing the burner with the Webasto ThermoTop C heater for diesel with the GP0 3.0 TDI? Webasto’s spare parts kit includes a water hose and various seals: Do I have to disconnect the connection of the heater to the cooling circuit to replace the burner? What is there to consider and how do I get to the heater? Thanks Moseltaler

  • VW and the Phaeton driver

Hello dear Phaeton friends, as long as I am reading and especially writing along, I notice an ever-increasing distress of the long-time Phaeton drivers. Apparently VW prefers to see his classy top-class car in its own fleet or to the far east in the large empire in the traffic jam. From customer loyalty here in Germany, my impression is that WOB doesn’t hold much. On the time journey through history, I came across a good old measure of customer loyalty on the VW website, which I don’t want to withhold from you. (see pictures in the appendix)http://data.motor-talk.de/…/plakte-1-4421468022356218502.JPGhttp://data.motor-talk.de/…/plakte2-47078135281837940.JPG At that time there was the badge of honor for 100,000 km. My suggestion for today: Every driver receives this badge again for KM performance. In addition, long-term customers also receive a badge from Neuwagenauslieferung, lovingly designed by the bina with the better number of your individual GmbH.
