    Hello , have in 2 days an appointment for diagnosis wanted but before starting a few information from real professionals 😉 as already in the caption varies the speed , which notices & hears man also , the gearbox switches on well . in cold condition with gentle driving it is not so strong .   • VCDS – a lot of functions not possible – where is the error?

    Hello, fellow forists, I’m opening a new topic on yesterday’s DPF problem because I now have a VCDS. I had changed the DPF, but the ash value still has to be reset. The VCDS should work wonders, so buy, install and – new problems. The error memory indicates the full (old) DPF with overload, which is why the engine is still running smoothly. Now I would have to learn a new DPF or the ash value zeros, but some functions in the program are not available or show errors. A deletion of the error message of the DPF itself brings nothing, because the particle filter could not yet be set to new and the errors are immediately back – in exactly these necessary functions I do not get into. The license is activated, the VCDS of Conrad – so should not be a cheap copy vertigo, the latest update is also on it, I have installed the program because of the problems already – unsuccessful. I can not get into the wrong I can reset the ash values by adjusting them, and if so, how? No names of the components are given in the measured value blocks. Somehow the VCDS seems to act as shareware – since not all components are usable in the shareware version. However, the program also shows me the licensed full version in the info.     Moin, I have a short question. I bought a Phaeton Bj 12.2012. Unfortunately I had an accident after a few days and the thickness is now in the bucket. Now I bought a GP3 from 2010. The radios have a different software on it. Both have Dynaudio, that has newer already preset sound profiles and DAB, the old shows no title on when I play Bluetooth music. For this reason I would like to run through the radios. When I was expanding it is up to me Is my plan possible? And if so, does something have to be recoded or something like that?   • Pulled off by VW Werkstatt – knocking in front can not find in the V8 Phaeton

    After a Poland holiday came knocking in front at VW first it probably the coupling rods – we have made new, knocks on then at once motor bearing – newly made – knocks on further after 20 km screw loose ? defective ? loud bolern – ADAC off to VW now while nwolh the screws are not fitting – ( ü 20000km made with it) new threads had to cut and knock of course still – now I’ll change both bearings and brakes in front and that still guarantee me not what the knocking comes from. the knocking is dependent on curves and also speed – depending on the curve position either barely noticeable or at right curves strong – the faster you drive the faster dan …….Help is it the track rod heads ? who can make me a 100% error search ?

And my Phaeton lease is about to expire, and I could also buy the car – or, my alternative, to buy a Q7 from 2013/2014, which costs about twice as much. The point at Phaeton is only the maintenance after a missing guarantee. The last 3 years I was the owner, regular maintenance and occasionally extra-scheduled workshop stay. Here are a few dates so that you can get the value of the car. VW Phaeton V6 TDI 176kW long wheelbase 4-seater 176 kW Diesel First registration: 09.2011, Now km-Stand approx. 150000. He has, as far as I can judge, full equipment with the exception of: wooden steering wheel, rear-entertainment, refrigerator. Equipment e.g. dynaudio temptation, acc, keyless, TV, telephone, return cam, heating, full leather equipment, soft close, side assistant. Single seats in the rear with climate, adjustment and Massa ge. What do you think – how will the next 70 000 km – “adventure” ? What is coming to me quite safely?   • Flaps bonnet solved – pollen filter

    I changed my pollen filters yesterday. I noticed that the plastic frames in the bonnet are loose and clapping. That’s because of the foam tape for sealing that was rotted over the years. I’ve been annoyed for a long time by a plastic noise from this area on cobblestones. The removal of the two frames is connected with plenty of curses. The halting aisles on the back of the frames are straight behind the edge of the Mo the hood and you have to be careful that nothing breaks down. At some point it worked out. With new front cover the frames now sit tight again in the bonnet… The flapping is gone.

  • E-defect turbocharger actuator

    Hello dear Phaeton-gemeinde, I’m in the middle of a little dilemma. I bought a used 3l V6, BJ07, 248,000km Run Now I’ve brought the vehicle to a good level, new crossbars, coupling rods, brake. Now he ran also for some time without problems, until he threw the error “Ebgas Werkstatt!” and switched it into the emergency run. Interestingly, the problem has been solved as soon as I exhibited it and let it cool down. e are probably read that there is an electrical error in the actuator for the turbocharger. So this would be changed and learned. Unfortunately this error in the fault memory is still there. The wire harness has been tested and is fine. Only change: Permanently low power and from a certain speed (between 80 and 100kmh) it goes into the emergency run. As with high speed, it goes into the emergency run. Now my workshop man said that he is sure that the VTG is stuck on the turbo. That’s where my very pitiful expertise stops anyway. Does that sound realistic? After some reading here in the forum it also sounds like the exhaust temperature sensor(?) could have one off. Do you have some experience? Basically I trust my workshop, but I would like to get a few more opinions. Thank you!

  • Metallic clacking while steering (in progress)

    I drive a 3 litre TDi EZ 2010 model 2011. After the heat a few weeks ago my air conditioning system completely failed, I drove like before with open windows and sliding roof. Also quite nice again, but at 36 degrees the discomfort prevails. Anyway, that was a FEHLER. Since then I have noticed a metallic cackling when steering (at low speed or standing) and that my brakes squeak sporadically very loudly. I have read a thread about it here, unfortunately not found any more. The brake was built apart before and after the cracker and a foreign body was removed. Now the previously noticed grinding noise is gone, but the cracker is not. Who can please give a hint about it? Only on the edge: I was yesterday in the wash road and immediately afterwards refuelling. After opening the tank cover I saw the swimmingpoo I was able to solve the problem myself by removing the water with a syringe (for ink to refill on printers) and drilling the drain with a toothpick again. I hope there was no water in the tank;-) Ah Diva, with you it never gets boring.

  • Grinding or oscillation noise at approx. 1500 rpm

    Hello together, For some time now I have a grinding or oscillating noise at my Phaeton. It always comes at a speed of about 1500 rpm and gets faster and faster depending on the gear height. 2 Vw service partners have already failed in the troubleshooting. Motor and wheels can be excluded however. The opinions go in the direction of the gearbox but you don’t want to decide. For me it sounds like it comes from some bearing. It’s also amazing that it’s clearer is when the car is warm. Does anyone know or have ever had such a problem? It is a Phaeton from 4/2015 with the 3.0 TDI and of course automatic transmission. I am grateful for all the ideas!
