Hello, My car (V10tdi, 2005) unfortunately , like apparently some others also , problems with the comfort battery . -ZAB dark -climate temporarily not available etc. I checked the voltage on the battery , with running motor , . Almost 12 volts . I changed the battery meanwhile , but unfortunately the car still has the same problems as mentioned above . The voltage on the new battery is approx. 13.2-13.4 V . At the battery on the front side the voltage is approx. .14,5 V. According to the instructions here from the forum I did delete the battery-washer (case room cover 45° etc.) also did nothing. Would be great if someone could help me. mfg Rene

The green symbol still appears in the display when I press the button. But no matter how long I drive, the steering wheel is no longer warm. Until yesterday everything worked and the heating has heated the steering wheel moderately but noticeably warm. Does anyone have any idea what this might be about? The fact that you can turn it on anyway and the symbol appears to make me stubborn. When the heating wires in the steering wheel wreath defe kt and no current would flow, wouldn’t a mistake or the green symbol just not be displayed? An AT steering wheel is thrown afterwards. However, I wanted to make sure before the exchange that it is on the wreath including heating wires. What could I check in advance of electrics?

Hello together, After it worked so well with the climatetronics I register with the same problem at the ZAB. There is also the error wrong coding displayed. Unfortunately I got it already so that the first car scan also contains this wrong coding. VCDS unfortunately also does not give any suggestions when coding. Has possibly someone the breakdown of the individual coding bits or a complete coding. Moin people, have installed an original AHK with original control unit on my GP1. Does everything work great. Only the sideassist and the PDC seem to know nothing about the AHK. What do I have to encode for the AHK? VCDS is of course available. Thank you Thomas

Hello, ride on my Phaeton Borbet XA 9J x 20 ET 40 with 265/35 20 tyres of the brand Bridgestone Potenza RE050A. Only the problem is to grind the tires Somewhere is unfortunately not recognizable, even after disassembly of the rims. Also in the workshop could not be helped. Had to throw away already 2 almost new tires tires that the whole inside flank was torn open. I only have the problem with than front wheels. I hope to help because I do not chew again 2 new tires. Good evening. Would very much like to know why the Phaeton at the VA is slightly polished, as soon as you put the dampers on comfort, that has always done so. Is it the famous poltern, which some auto testers have always noticed with the A8, Phaeton etc.? In normal driving you do not feel that, for example only on lowered channel covers potholes etc. For this I imagine that the noise becomes less during the ride. Hi, I’m just off a 800km tour FRA and turn off the car and think about what smells like this. Drive on and turn off the car in the underground car park and think why smells like that in the underground car park. Then I realize that only back left of the mature totally stinks or something behind it. It smells like plants oil. Then it starts to scratch and makes sounds right back left. I still have warranty.

Hi, I switched to winter bikes yesterday at my tyre dealer. The jack mode was activated correctly before the lift (I was there). After the tyre change I drove from the assembly hall and direction home. Usually – and so it was in the past – the jack mode switches off by itself at about 15 km/h. Unfortunately not this time. When I arrived at home the symbol for the jack mode was still active. Today at noon I was greeted with two error messages (see pictures): – Error: level. Workshop! – Curve light (AFS) without function. Boardbook! The level control works perfectly (normal, high and automatic lowering at 120 km/h). Damper hardness can also be set (markable). AFS can not. How can something like this happen? Both errors exactly after tyre change would be a too big coincidence – right? Or are these the advantages of the car? the Phaeton gives up after 200.00 km 🙂
