Winter fitness Phaeton

(Shell and Agip performed better at that time) But what also plays a role. There are cars that are better able to cope with it.What experiences have you made in this regard and how do you prevent it? A defect is particularly expensive and I hope someone can give me advice on how to get it cheaper. For some time now the electric tailgate has not opened and closes properly. The second cylinder as well as the engine work perfectly, only the one cylinder seems to cause a blocking. Now, however, both oil pressure cylinders as well as the engine should be replaced. Costs for the parts 1.415 Euro + pay 160 = 1.575 Euro net! Does anyone have an idea how to get it cheaper? I live in the Ruhr area, maybe there is a free workshop with special expertise here. , which you could visit. Maybe this even has a paint shop ;-). First of all thank you for ideas!

Steering wheel heating – can only be switched on at low temperatures?
Hello, I tried this morning (it was 10°C) to turn on the steering wheel heater (with the right small button on the wooden corner wheel). I didn’t notice anything. Therefore, my question, if there is a temperature control in it? There is nothing in the instructions – or is the heating broken? (Have the car been warm for 6 weeks and since it was warm, I haven’t used the steering wheel heater yet.) Thank you for your help! Julian Severin

Hello all together, My zab spins for about 3 weeks it goes on and off all the time. Have both AGM batteries new. Errors 00470, 00477, 00003 and 00668 are stored. Strange is however, if I turn on the zab without a key it goes up to climate. I would be very happy if you could help me further since the friendly here with us gets the simply not on the row. Decommissioning Lowering (coupling rods) now wedge shape. How to produce normal state?
Moin in the round, I had the lowering (coupling bars) rebuilt against the originals. I have to say that the thickness was never really “turned” with coupling rods. Unfortunately, the thickness has been standing since the conversion into wedge shape (back = high 50 cm) , front = down 39 cm) (measured wheel center to Koti). Unfortunately, there is no more spring in the back and the error in the STG is “rule not learned”. I look into the STG when reading out the access code that the values (407, 401) “excluded” n”. According to my logic, I would have to enter the really measured values over the 4 channels and correct them over and over again or ? I find many instructions as to how to lower the thickness but unfortunately not how to reset it back to normal. Can anyone help? Thank you, PS: VCDS is available.

Phaeton 2009 AFS (curve light) no function
Hi guys, I couldn’t find a useful answer. My fat guy has bending light and cornering light. Unfortunately, the cornering light doesn’t work, it remains static when cornering. When starting, you can see clearly that they do the lights the high/down left/right test.Abbiegelicht works without problems. My attempts so far: – no error messages regarding lights in the VCDS – programming in the Stg 55 seems ok. Programming on Phaeton and lights with 00000033 – All bulbs also work fog lights – When driving made the left/right stop – Fishing with VCDS Have in the MFL only Side Assist and Front Assist to choose from.
