  • Dosing pump 3.0 TDI defective

    Hello together I have also been in possession of a Phaeton since not too long time. (2011 V6 Diesel) As one of the first steps I recoded the heater to the preheater by means of VCDS. The valve for the cooling liquid of course also out of coded. Unfortunately, the preheater does not work. It always stops with the fault after the high time. I tested everything and all actuators can be heard clearly and with de r Glow candle changes the value. Only the dosing pump doesn’t make a sound. Therefore my question: Where is the dosing pump and can I get there with not too much effort to test the times, so that I can see if it is broken or the cable is added.   • Battery Problems

    Hello dear community, After about 2 months of service I ran again to my beloved Phaeton 3.0 Tdi from 2013. Unfortunately this one was completely powerless. Not even the doors could be opened by FB. Because it pressed as always, opened the trunk at the back by key and started off at the starter battery. That was all so far as it went. Car then also started again and again days later. Certain things make me stubborn. The voltmeter in the instrument panel shows despite Lan In addition, the DWA optically shows me an error (long red flashes then fast). Therefore, measured at the rear of the batteries times. Comfort battery (95aH AGM) shows 11.7 volts in retirement. Starter battery (60aH no AGM) shows about 12.7 V in a resting state. Exciting, however, this voltage collapses short-term under 9V. I find that not normal. We also seem to have too little of the 11.7 V of the comfort battery. . Unfortunately, you can’t get a muk from the heater. However, I don’t know where the power is coming from. So the question arises, do I really have 2 defective batteries at the same time? I’m looking forward to your answers. Thank you and greetings

    Hello dear community; I bought a GP3 (3.0TDI) from 2011 and am generally very satisfied. Unfortunately, he does not have a leathered dashboard and door panels, which I could get. Now the question: Can you change the dashboard or the upper parts or does it have to be the complete dashboard? At the driver’s door unfortunately also does not work the button (kessy). What can you do there? And last but not least, – I bought the board for the existing Radi o RNS810 for CarPlay to make fit. Did it have to be installed in a workshop….but unfortunately this doesn’t work either? Due to the very bad documentation and the missing support (AliExpress) I can’t get on at this point either.   • Disc wiper motor on the left and on the right?

    Is the left and the right windscreen wiper motor the same? At my Phaeton the left windscreen wiper motor is broken when the screw of the fixing windscreen wiper arm on the windscreen wiper rod on which the screw is tightened. Have still 1 Phaeton as spare part carrier, with which I have already removed the left windscreen wiper motor, and now only the right motor.   • Rear flap has trouble closing

  • Ventilation loud and does not regulate back

    Hello everybody, have a short question: Is it normal with our object of concern that the ventilation a) is quite loud and b) hardly controls down…? I’m surprised that the car has everything possible electronically and an extra train-free air conditioning system, but the ventilation in winter (almost) fully turns up in automatic mode and then spits the ice-cold air around your ears… besides, I don’t have the impression that the ventilation after a half-hour drive is considerably down w ird… That bothers me a bit, if it’s up to me, the ventilation in automatic mode would only need to run on maybe three (of 8 bars or something?) . As soon as you adjust this manually, you unfortunately also immediately leave the automatic mode… lg

  • Comfort battery emptied by Navi?

    Hello to the forum, one before: I used the search function in detail before I published my problem. Can it be that a non-activated navigator pulls the comfort battery empty within 2 days? Abstract: Apparently, my navigator does not always switch off after the P. I described the problem in detail to my friend, because in advance the empty comfort battery took place some stays in the workshop. In the meantime, I leave the lid of the glove compartment slightly open with the help of a support, so that I can recognize the identification light of the Navi even when the vehicle is closed. If the Navi is not switched off, the charger (Cetek MXS 5.0) is connected. Through the friendly, the problem was sent to the TSC in WOB.
