  • Electronic problems ZAB – 2005 Phaeton 3.0 TDI (GP0)

    Good morning! I picked up my first Phaeton yesterday. A black/black 3.0 TDI 4Motion from 2005, i.e. GP0, which has been proven to have run only 111 TKM. Before I had an Audi A6 4B from 1997, because I’m probably into scrap metal with automatic, space and comfort… 😉 The Phaeton needs some love for the paint and the interior it should get. In addition, it seems that a wheel bearing or a drive shaft is due. l but an electronic construction site at the central display and control unit for information (ZAB): My cousin, who has VCDS, has read out and deleted all error messages.   • Preheating against the same replacement

    Hello together, I am new here and also own a Phaeton V6 Tdi bj 2005 I have a problem with my SH. This has been delivered ex factory with stand heating function + remote control. Now unfortunately broken. I changed it for an same used one, because I unfortunately also have no access to the control unit. With my old one the control unit is completely destroyed by the water and could not read it anymore. My question is if I have to let them learn at VW ? Electricity is on and plugs + cables are ok. 3DO 815 005 AA is the component number. Thank you

  • Turn Phaeton with a tipper truck lifter?

    Dear screwdriver, at my Phaeton 3.0 TDI I would like to renew the differential pressurer. Recently I bought a tipper truck lifter. It takes the car on the wheel hub and turns it up to 90°. It is allowed up to 3.5T. I bought it for work on the underbody of a vintage car. The question is whether it is also suitable for a modern car. Unfortunately, the oil measuring rod on the opposite side of the filling nozzle of the tank is used for Phaeton, so that I either use the petrol I would trust the tightness of the brake fluid tank and the water. The wiper water tank would probably have to be empty. Would anything run out at the top of the gearbox? And is the suspension suitable for tilting 90°?     Hello, the Phaeton is unfortunately since the 18.3.16 history…:-( Have you looked at the Phideon (from the pictures) – apparently, this should be the Pheaton successor for China, where it is also built. Some speak of CC successors. However, from the picture I would rather estimate it as P. Successor. Would you be interested in the Phideon if it would come to Europe…?   • Short performance….

    Hello dear Phaeton community, now it’s time and I would like to introduce myself briefly here. After you really helped me here with the purchase decision, I want to participate now actively and hopefully a) learn more and b) maybe also help others with the decision to a Phaeton. On the search for a “new” I “stumbling” at some point also about the Phaeton. Shortly decidedly made an extended test drive and from then on the decision was own I almost liked it! 🙂 As a result, I eagerly followed and read the pros and cons of the little ones here… At the same time, I contacted the “dealer couples” in Karlsruhe and Frankfurt which were often mentioned here and watched their offers for a while. Then everything went very quickly. New offers came and I got the pictures sent. On the weekend, I made an appointment and “swups” had my copy in the garage… It has become a V6 TDI from 1 1/2011 with laughable 57.000km and my absolute desired equipment. Of course there are extras he doesn’t have, but I think that’s more positive than negative (which is not there, can’t be broken… :-)) I took a few photos to see and I’m looking forward to your opinion.     Hello together, I wanted to introduce myself briefly, since the day before yesterday I also belonged to the Phaeton drivers and could enjoy the car now already 700 km. Zum Auto: 3.0 TDI, 5-sitzer, in Mocca/Sonnenbeige, nut tree with wooden steering wheel, 18-way-seat, Sensitive leather, TV, glass roof and ACC. Oh yes: Unfortunately without Dynaudio, but also the standard system is really ok from the sound and not as bad as it is assumed due to some entries here in the forum.   • The search for the best summer tire…..have you got any tips?

    Hello together After my Phaeti was at the friendly one for 3 weeks and I only have 2 days again the next bad news comes now….. Screw in the tire 🙁 Ok, ok it’s not so bad because all 4 tires had anyway only a few thousand kilometers. Since the Phaeti needs quite rubber I find the best compromise between wear (no I don’t want to hit hard Asia-pneus) and good driving characteristics. In the various tire test page n I have already read in but I think the Phaeti with its over 2 tons is just hard to compare to an Audi A3. So if someone has n good tip I am very grateful 🙂

  • Burners… anyone’s idea?

But somehow the incinerators come back. Oddly enough since the latest the phenomenon that he stops flashing as soon as he jumps on gas and runs a lot quieter…. may sound strange, but I am also the opinion that if there is more gas in the tank, it causes less problems. Ne real Diva just…. :/ Does anyone have an idea? Thanks for your help

  • Phaeton 3.0 TDI 2005 jerks, speed swings

    Hi people I just registered here, but I’ve been reading with you for 6 years. My thick diva makes a theater again. Built 12/2005 235000km V6 TDI I describe my problem once: On normal ride (all speeds), whether with or without cruise control the rev indicator will hit as soon as the engine has a little “load” ( highway slightly uphill) knocks out of about 200 revolutions. I had the same problem already about 3 years ago. At that time it was an expensive fun. ( Gearbox felt n/ then converters changed/ not all brought 250€ for nix) I read here in a Threat that you should clean the levers of the suction tube adjustment. That I then told my workshop and everything was good again, until now 80000 km later exactly the same, so again with which please clean the suction tube adjustment. But this time it did nothing. I just put almost 4000€ in wear parts and the analysis of the problem but he jolts cheerfully further. Jetz But I didn’t learn anything from it, because I’m looking for a Phaeton again, because it’s just the coolest car and I love the big bitch so much. I’d like to sell the box.     Since my vehicle must have a competent lantern garage, I thought at the purchase that the heatable windshield (in combination with insulating glass) could facilitate the trouble of scratching. But does it not. All settings according to manual – Unfortunately no noticeable effect for me. Do I have too high demands or do I do something wrong? My question: Who has experience with this thing?
