    Moin. I read out the error codes in my car two days ago, because the air conditioning doesn’t cool properly. There was an error in the ventilation. Meaningful: Ventilation additional control unit standing heater unplausible signal. I didn’t think anything about it, because I thought that I had pulled the telestarter off. Today I play around in the menus and have to find out that the menu item standing heating is missing. Instead, “residual heat” is to be read there.   • Phaeton suspension frustration

    Would like to cry out my frustration here as a new Phaeton driver, also at the risk that the forum is not a wailing wall. As reported in my already created topic, my vehicle with a good 70t km (just 4 months ago bought!!!) spat out the level error and became hardy. The 2nd official VW/Audi Freundliche detects a defective Komfi battery and says everything well. On the way home it was also – just before Christmas. On the following day I am driven through on the highway It takes long waves, air-suspension-like, but tight, not floating. But short blows rumble like in an old car. A heavily damaged road rides like roller coaster… The VWler says “everything is repaired, everything works, no error messages, you have to compare with a 2nd Phaeton, but maybe that’s how it fits anyway”. Super. I’m mega-frustrated and just want to get rid of the box. e now have to agree that the VWler opens a new case, according to the motto, let’s try it, let’s ask at VW or look into the database. Does anyone have experience with hard-hitting shocks despite “functional” suspension in such a young car with only 70t km?

So, I’ve noticed in all my automatic vehicles so far (so also in Phaeton) that you can have different engine turns at a certain speed in the same gear. For example at Phaeton: – 5 gear – 100km/h – you let it slide, i.e. gas only slightly tap that it holds the speed, the engine has approx. 1800 U /Min. – If you give a little bit more gas and accelerate from 90km/h to 110km/h, the engine has already from 90km/h over 2200 rpm. How can that be? I thought up to now that the gear shift has 5 gears. These are rigid and translate always with a fixed transmission. That means for me, that the motor, should a gear be inserted, always have to turn immediately if you drive with a gear the same speed.     Hello everyone, my new (older, EZ 12/2007) Phaeton is ticking tremendously….Shortly to the course… Purchased with defective tailgate……Car had stood a little longer….ZV didn’t go, car was sold in commission, therefore actually sold privately. I gave the order to look up the batteries, if they were too old please exchange and possibly charge, statement of the workshop: battery is from 2014, everything is good, I looked, can not recognize the age of the comfort battery. On the Fah I wanted to lock the car manually, went, after about 3 minutes the alarm went off, I had my trouble to get the beep out again. Shortly afterwards, about 2 km, the engine control light went on, car drives only 60 km/h. Oh menno….Woman panicked…..they must have betupt me..:-(( Arrived at home, man mots….Comfort battery measured, man says battery almost dead, woman why do you buy only such a scrap…. .Yes, yes, I know laughter….   • Service at the VW dealer not made?

    I bought my Phaeton EZ 03/2014 at the beginning of this year at a VW dealer in Lower Saxony with 102 tkm on it. The service that should be done at 100 tkm was not done yet. The dealer told me, before I get it, is cleaned inside and outside again and the upcoming 100 tkm service is done. In the service booklet everything else is stamped without gaps at VW, but this last service is not in it. Did they just save work there?
