Hello, I am picking up a GP4 as the successor of my 2012 GP3. But also here I have the problem that I have loud rolling noises of the front tyres especially during motorway rides over 120kmh. I exclude tyres. I have already experimented a lot with my GP3. I think it only helps an additional insulation of the (maybe ) wheelhouse shells. Has anyone already had experience with additional insulation. Or are there autoacousticians who can locate the noise source? Greetings Klau s

Chassis: damper: workshop, and the usual damper symbol. the error occurs sporadically. times with starting the car, sometimes in the middle of the ride. In case of wetness and dryness. Also, I have the feeling of the car no longer springs as comfortable, but harder. Since my workshop does not have VW specific error software, but that of Bosch, When reading out the memory only acceleration sensor right/left is displayed. Are these probably definitely defective, or there are possibilities without replacement of the sensors remedy. What could you try for the first time? I am car-like absolute layman and therefore dependent on a workshop. The guys there are also really ok and no zockers, but rarely have to deal with such vehicles. Hello, I have a question about my heater. But I did not come to the right solution with the SuFu or did not find the right one. My heater makes strange noises. I attach two audio files with me. Maybe one or the other may listen to each other and maybe also know what the problem is. I can’t imagine that this should be normal??!! Hello, have had a Phaeton 3D Diesel Bj 2006 for half a year with 145 000km. A super car, except: When buying half a year ago I was told that the brakes were made new not too long ago. There was also nothing missing, until I had to slow down on the highway at high speed, because a driver changed to the left lane at night without blinking. I had to put a full brake in order not to rush into the other vehicle. Since then the Br I’d like to get new ones, but after something like this happens more often, the question, what do I have to pay attention to with brake discs? Which ones can withstand such a maneuver? Ventilated? Sports brake discs? I don’t want to have standard brakes mounted after this negative experience. Who has some experience and can help me? Hello guys, so I have a GP1 3.0 TDI (without Keyless frills ) If I open the car can open all the doors from the outside except the right rear door. You can open them once in a while and do not do so again. I have now looked through all the relevant fuses and could not detect any faulty ones. When I unlock the car lights up at the right rear door the yellow key next to the door handle ( you have to pull 2x to open it ). As soon as the yellow I can’t open you from the outside. On the left side this phenomenon doesn’t occur. But I also didn’t activate child safety on both doors. I don’t know what I can do anymore, except Zottel’s tip that you can disconnect the battery for 30min, start the engine, disable child safety, etc. But I can’t do it until tomorrow, because it’s already too dark today. Hello dear forum members I have the following problem. At the Phaeton 3 liter TDI Built. 2011 my father arrived in mid-December 2023 the message steering wheel lock cannot be opened, engine does not start. The ADAC could not solve the problem and towed the vehicle to the dispatcher. He tried to repair the vehicle again. At the same time the control unit for the steering column was tried to exchange, which showed no success. In addition, another control unit should have forgotten its coding. According to the contract workshop, control units and small parts for 6000.-€ only have to be exchanged material. He has not yet mentioned the amount of the working time. It is also still open whether VW participates in a kulanz. The vehicle is supposed to have a value of approx. 7500.- Euro (if it is in Ordnun). The car only ran 140tkm is champagne metallic and has a beige leather equipment. Is there the possibility to have the ECUs checked, or a workshop that can fix something like this? I have just calculated the car tax for a Phaeton V8 EZ 4/2008 with a car tax calculator (http://www.kfz-steuer.de/kfz-steuer_pkw-text.php). This is 283 €. For the same car, but with hypothetical EZ after 01.07.2009, the car tax is 472 Euro according to the computer. That’s already a bit happy.

Hello together, after I haven’t registered in the forum for a long time, with a small post. I successfully changed the left rear lighting myself a few months ago (VW wanted 600€, I got it for 60€) and sniffed some hobby air. In between there was already a 140€ warranty case with not opening defective side door and 500€ for new comfort battery, but swam over it. After my left dipped light was broken (Phaeton has often warned I didn’t want to pay the 600€ (at VW) or 450€ (at free workshop). Also because I have been trading the “Glühbirnen” on my cars for almost 30 years and saw no reason “to let the series tear up”. So I made myself work with one/two cool beers (had the VAG instructions as starting point) and documented the whole time – after the whole was successful. Greetings, Marcel

Hello. Unfortunately I have the problem that the handbrake hangs at the rear right side of my Phaeton 3.0 TDI Bj. 2005 recently. Error message in the display: “Resolve parking brake” The train on the rear right is too tight, so that the saddle cannot spring back to its starting position. (see picture) If you release the handbrake, the rope only releases about 3 mm. The left side works perfectly, here the spring is stretched less far, see picture. I also hung the rope on the saddle and e If you use the lever on the saddle by hand (without rope), it springs back, but not completely into the final position, it is missing about 3mm. Can you adjust the hand brake ropes or where is the error to look for? That the saddle does not fully spring back into the final position without rope is possibly a result of the rope to be tightened? Thanks and Lg.
