What’s the matter? I have the Omanyt 9J x 19″ with ET 40 mm. The width 275er is supposedly only with the Omanyt ET 35. Does the ET 35 rim wander outward towards the wheel box. (Right????) Since I don’t want to put track plates on it, the tire (275er) would stand more in the wheel box what seems to be considered a bit tricky by VW as well as Tüv. Now I read that the Megara rim 9J x 20″ has an ET of 46 mm and there the 275er are pulled on it. more direction inside, or ???. Is there still a factor positive / negative to consider which is not described ? ?????? Please for clarification.

Hello to the round, I am currently in the process of refitting my dark red tail lights from the GP2 back to the normal red ones. Now I find unfortunately that the bolts of the old rut lights from the trunk lid have fractures. So I don’t want to install that again. A call to VW brought the statement that the bolts can only be obtained in set with new tail lights? *WTF* 🙂 Is really like this? Does someone have the part numbers of these bolts for me? Hello dear user, I bought a Phaeton 3.0 TDI about 8 months ago and also completed a used car warranty. When I was testing at the time, I noticed about 80 kmh that it was whistled at the driver’s door, my guess was / is that the seal is simply sucked off. I told the seller he meant ok, we will adjust the door, and have put on the door quasi. After 4 months the same game. Again door adjusted. Now it’s all right. The dealer now says that this is not a guarantee case but would be covert. As far as everything is right. But the problem existed even before the purchase, and was tried to improve by now 3x but no improvement in sight. If it had appeared after the purchase the problem I say just after 6 months everything ok then it is now so covert. But it was already before I had bought the car. What can I do now? Must the dealer the n and still take over or I ask for advice .. As said the problem was already before the purchase. My consultant says Strickt “no” that I would have to pay myself out of my own pocket. mfg

Is it normal that the apertures of the ventilation remain open at approx. 15 degrees outside temperature and normal solar radiation at temperature preselection of 21 – 22 °C? The apertures function perfectly, but I have often wondered that the apertures are open at relatively low outside temperatures. Can it be that the cooling capacity of the air conditioning system has decreased and therefore the system no longer cools sufficiently with closed apertures, so that these can be opened? If one eg. to 20 degrees It is also cool, but I have the suspicion that the climate would have to be able to do more. Will the days drive to VW, but without an appointment there is no wheel turning. Still have a guarantee, that should be fixed before it expires.

Hi all, I’m looking for winter tires and rims for my thickness (GP3, V6 FSI, long). According to vehicle license should be on it: 235/50 R18 101Y Currently the following summer tires are on it: 235/55 R17 99Y I suspect that are original VW rims. However, I don’t find these. Plan is, VW rims from the bay and tires fresh from the dealer. A thread with similar question is – but refers only to GP1&2

Hello joy, I am now one year happy owner of a Phaeton V6 from 2011. Almost 200,000 km. I have already 20,000 km down and I noticed this winter that the chassis at the front left is hanging suspiciously far down, so at stand. What I still noticed, while driving in cold condition from the chassis, it crashes at ground waves or small potholes especially in the front axle. I describe it as if I put with the lower lip on the asphalt od I also have the feeling that the demanding air suspension is no longer really high (in comfort condition) The height adjustment and lowering works perfectly. The previous owner has allegedly already done something about it, since it always hangs completely down at the stand. As soon as I have driven about 10 km, it is then gone. Can someone help me or give me a hint, what I can repair? Many greetings

For 3 weeks I have a Bj. 2015 Phaeton and try in vain to connect my phone via Bluetooth. I found no answer in the entire user manual and in forums. In “Settings” – “Telephone” there is only the display: “Not connected”. Nowhere is a “Bluetooth” display. Vehicle allegedly has Blutooth and hands-free system. Navi Update V17 is installed. What am I doing wrong? Where is a link in the forum? Is a SIM card (in the armrest) required? V Thanks for your help. Herbie

So guys are new here and to get in I already have the first problem I own a phaeton 4.2 v8 bj 2004 with 330 000km on it So the camshaft adjusters went broken about 3 months ago so I replaced them directly together with the chain everything nice and well running everything no clackers only now the error camshaft and crankshaft position do not fit together so I disassembled it again and checked the control times fits everything so then have ic hh thought that the camshaft sensor defective is also newly made same error motor control unit also renewed same error Then I had the muzzle full and bought a motor with 130 000€ everything was installed running quietly after 10 min Zack exactly the same error and Only on bench 2 So then there is for phaeton a rod where you need for the timing belt change where you have set the camshaft centered the motor onot and see the rod does not fit bench 2 is too far down Now the question is how to put it back in order And that’s not 3 teeth, maybe so 6 teeth where missing but then he wouldn’t have jumped well I really hope someone can help me
