I’d like to introduce myself to you as a passive reader in the Phaeton forum for a long time now and have benefited from many contributions. I’ve been a proud owner of a Phaeton V6 3.0 TDI since November last year. I was already a Phaeton driver 6 years ago for a short time, but unfortunately I had to sell it again because of my job. In the last year there was a new purchase of a car in the house and fast was the decision made that it should be a Phaeton again. I then found a dealer in the South German region who had the Phaeton with my desired equipment in stock. (Stand heating, massage seats, solar sliding roof…) Finally, the mileage of only 57 TKm gave the decisive factor in a Phaeton BJ 2012. I have to say I did not regret the purchase, it is always a pleasure to enter this great car and glide over the streets. to my littleness: My name is Elmar, I am 52 years old, living in the Heilbronn area. Hello and good evening, short question to the specialists: today I got into my “thickness” engine, and no sound from the boxes, I tried to achieve something on the volume control on the steering wheel – negative, level stuck stuck nothing happened – then under Settings tried to change settings volume then comes the following message: “DSP sound system temporarily unavailable ” – what could that be, to complete had problems with battery in the last days times , Battery discharges itself although not defect , according to the friendly – so hope for your help and explanations …. wei nerves somehow , my dick is already quiet and now silence , the absolute silence – so I can not drive ;-)))

What is this “box” that sits in the direction of travel left between the engine and the body?
Hello, I actually looked at the engine of my Phaeton (3.0 TDI) for the first time today without a plastic cover. I noticed a “box” that sits in the direction of travel left between the engine and the body. The cable from the “box” has a connection to the rail tube and another junction. On the box is a small selector switch, which stands at my Phaeton on “2”. What is this: sensor? ECU? Please enlighten me. Thank you! Greeting André

Heating flap, air valve, water in the footroom
Dear Phaeton friends! I put 2 things in one post. 1. Water For days it rains heavily. Today I have found that water is in the footroom (driver side). I tap clogged drain openings in the area engine room directly under the windshield, close to windscreen wiper motor. My car is standing outdoors. I suspect that over time there has accumulated dirt. Does anyone of you know where these drain openings are located? Have already had a bottle cleaning session? The car was now 1 week, of which it has rained more heavily for the last 3 days. 2. Ventilation flaps A bracket is damaged. (PDF, see arrow). The 2 photos are only for illustration. I have from the Internet. Does any of you have an “explosion drawing” for me, on which you can recognize, whether there is the flap as spare part? Possibly with article number? I hope you can remove the flap. RNS 810 exchange possible for a newer one with DAB?
Hello dear Phaetongemeinde, for two weeks now I have been a very happy Phaeton owner. I’m still a little bit in the rush of luck and friends, so I’m asking for indulgence if I’m working a bit conceptually. But I’m also… Nevertheless, a question that I want to ask here smarter people. I live in a radio area dominated by the WDR, which is rather annoying. Uniform remedy for me as a radio friend seems to be DAB to me. Could I now be my 810er from 2008 for a newer 810er with DAB? Would there be compatibility problems? Generate the antenna signal via FM-DAB splitter and good? Do not want to nail such an additional device somewhere to this wonderful cockpit. Bentley Flying Spur. Constant stop when refueling and new comfort battery always empty after 1 day
Moin, at my Bentley Flying Spur BJ. 2008, when refueling it stops every time, no matter how I turn it or keep it out, the pump gun never tank liquid, at no gas stations. What could be the cause? 2. The vehicle needs too much battery power, changed 2 new ones. For one day everything was great, error messages and electronics was impeccable. The next day, show display (battery empty) although the car starts every day or after longer standing with key super, but so soon the car is off, after 20 sec completely no electricity in the car. What could that be ???????

My VW workshop incapacitated?!
Hello… That’s how I’ve had my experiences that I’ve done with a friend. Was there before, but what happened last time there confirmed again that the real net have a lot of knowledge of Phaeton although they care for more. My first bad experience was when changing the instrument cluster… Because of broken warning sombers. I waited and was told it was done. So far so good, I looked at everything again and then that. The second bad experience. Car due to cracking/snoring in the stand and driving quickly back and forth… Then next day call, we got what happened to their cars, an employee drove against another car where the tow was still on it. Result bumper scratched at the front… gets lacki and we are very embarrassed because the second time what happened. Ok all right… Next day we didn’t hear the noise or what can find… Can it get first… Because there’s nothing. Ok… I talked to the service manager… He said nothing can just trade because it has to be sent in or need proof that is broken… I said on it I made a video of it… Ok… So we stay… I got the impression that I had to go to the car. ossesstände showed… Here everything is fine again… Ok, well looked at and everything away from the front… I’m going home and I thought again look in peace… And what do I see, the edge over the Nebler mega rotznasen from the clear varnish… Ey that couldn’t be…back photos taken and reclaimed…. Hello Phaeton municipality, my fat guy is pulling around again after a long positive break without notice and I really stand in the dark. …and suddenly when I started off at the traffic light I felt every floor wave until the error level control workshop stood in the display and I saw when I got off both rear wheels are fully in the wheel box. I just *switched* the last 10 km home and made a SCAN with VCDS. The Google search only brings me this error directly in the Au di Forum. I suspect soon a temperature problem but I will probably not know that until tomorrow. What is very funny is that I can still get the wheels out of the wheel box via the “high” setting. If I get back to normal there is no spring travel at the rear. The wheels at the front are normally high. I think VCDS is a sensor defective. I assume that on each spring leg of a seat. How can I get out whether the right or left is defective? Phaeton does not open does not start
Hello I have a huge problem. I drove with my fat guy to work today about 30km, put off just at 20:00 again the car did not react to my key. Thought ok maybe battery all of the key. Close by hand on alarm system goes off. Plug key in Alarm goes from car Starts not key small in the middle of the display. Left turn around right car does not start. ADAC called the battery measured each 11, and more.. stuck out nothing happens..intermediately error message system error workshop…in the meantime refuses to spit out the key.. then red error message key error.. it had rained..presumably Kessey control unit what do you think? Problem is I’m standing in Potsdam in the parking garage ADAC probably has problems getting me out of there without further trouble. I just want to bring me to the nearest VW workshop… since I am going to be loosely 1000€ or what do you think? Am totally desperate…
