  • How to test climate for function?

    Hello forum, I am not really the user of an air conditioner. Today I was on the highway for the first time and I found that the air conditioning does not bring any cold air. Since I can get it into a workshop at the earliest at the end of the week I wanted to ask you if I can test the function of my air conditioning system? Is it also so with Phaeton that you should briefly notice a speed difference when activating and deactivating the air conditioning system? I don’t notice when I press the “Econ” button. Again, I had the impression that in winter, when the windows are fogged, the ECON button would have to clear the windows much faster and the climate would have to work!?     Hello I’ve noticed more than once that my P is very sluggish when overtaking the road in the 5th gear from approx. 2000U/min and I have already been allowed to cancel the overtaking process a few times. I accelerate in the 4th gear from 2000 U/min. It pulls better by lengths and even at a slightly higher speed in the 6th at the same speed,I have the feeling that it pulls much better. Only in the 5th it doesn’t want to attract so much. or something can be broken. Is a 3.0tdi CEXA from 04/09.   • V10 Speed _Vibration in stationary gas

    Hello, have again a problem with the error message exhaust gas workshop. The error was already at the beginning of the year and was fixed with the exchange of the sensor which sits at the gearbox passenger side up. (have forgotten the name) So now it is time again and the error is there again but stranger wiser only when it is wet outside. when it is dry, it is gone after a few days. But since the wet season is there. I went to my buddy to read the error. E r has read out the Phaeton to us see there a lot of errors. I will attach the error log. Now we have deleted the errors first. Please can you look at the error log and maybe help me further. Especially this clamp 30??? what is that supposed to be.   • Cannot start engine, no starter noise

The left battery (comfort) was 11.5 V. Some control units reported undervoltage. The right starter battery was at 12.7 V. So certainly not empty. Both batteries were tested 2 months ago, one very good, the other good in the VW report.   • Lowering via VAG-COM or hardware module

    With VAG-COM you should get the car 20 mm lower without any problems. On the other hand a hardware module is sold on eBay. On request I got the following information: Quotation: from the software lows I think nothing at all. it is a hardware module of a noble tuner. By using new shorter or longer joint levers of the chassis level control the vehicle lies the described about 30mm lower in the chassis . Technically nothing is changed on the chassis. Reprogram the vehicle level control with +30 mm (2min. work in the workshop which also makes the measurement). 3.   • Phaeton steering wheels in beautiful ?!

    Hello together , I would have a question about the steering wheels of the Phaeton models . After some looking again and again I noticed the quite “modest , (for my taste ) , looking steering wheels of the Phaetons . I compare the a little with the wreaths from the 70s ala stroke 8 like W115/116 etc. Did these actually only change a little from 2010/2011 ? Since I have this at every exit in the eye as well as in the hands I can not be friends with it at all , there would be me “Ugly” rims prefer, which I don’t see when I drive and it stands parked ???
