  • Comfort battery -> Blubbing noise under the windscreen wipers

    Dear Forum Fellows, Since the purchase of my Phaeton V10 2012, I have problems with the comfort battery, which is constantly unloading. Thanks to the forum I have solved some errors and consumer sources myself, a visit to RAPACHO 2016 gave me the certainty that my mass points are OK, because Zottel has checked them all. Since the instructions for the comfort battery change is available, I changed them myself recently and hung them to a C-teck – just like here imm I can now see that the car has a “BLUBB-BLOBB noise” in its stand. You can hear it very clearly – even my wife has made me aware of it. I clearly locate the noise under the middle wiper fixation. The “BLUBB-BLOBB” can also be heard, as a slight vibration of hitting passes through the body (… very easy to feel if you have a finger on the S I think this error has always “sucked away” my battery quite simply before I could even identify it. So – now it’s the specialists: what can it be… ? It sounds to me like a flap to which somehow can’t close and always reopens and drives … . MfG

    Hello everyone, I would like to introduce myself here briefly with my Phaeton. My name is Benny, I am 37 years old and owner of a Phaeton 3.0Tdi Bj 2013. It is a 4 seater with a long wheelbase, only one previous owner and I bought it from a VW dealer. I have driven it since early 2018 and have already 70,000km with it, 99,9% I drove from it myself, but I have already enjoyed the advantages of the rear seats. I had to finally check whether there were all I have always noticed Phaetons in everyday life and since I have been busy with the sporty cars a little longer, my last cars were RS4B5, RS6 C6 Limo, R8… I wanted to finally have a Phaeton myself. I am very satisfied and happy with it. He has everything I need for life.     Hello, recently I also have a “thickness”. It has 1000+1 extras, but in terms of phone it is underexposed.   • Procedures of the plenum official modification?

    Can anyone tell me if there is an official Volkswagen bulletin requiring the Phaeton to remove the procedures of the VW dealer’s assembly, remove the rubber stoppers from the plenum and cut off the processes of the roof? Or is this done unofficially to prevent damage caused by flooding in the rain?     Hello together, unfortunately for some time now have a problem with my darling, which I can not quite assign. It is extremely like this. In normal driving everything is normal. Also on the driving behavior has changed nothing. Currently 18 inch winter bikes still mounted. But with unevenness I hear under the car a very loud poltern, resp. beat. Sounds like metal on metal.     Dear “Phaetonasten” today I wanted to order the winter tyres for my V6 TDI (long) really fast. They come on the rims bought with the vehicle (summer tyres down). Therefore I need the so-called size. With my predecessor (GP 0 from 2006) I did not have bad experiences with the Pirelli Sottozero – so why not a Pirelli again? Because there is no one in the size 🙁 At all the selection in this size is limited. So at the end: Conti WinterContact TS 850 P (SUV)* Dunlop WinterSport 5 Nokian WR A4 and Vredestein Quatrac 3 (SUV)* *I’m never on the road in my own way. When I drive I don’t drink alcohol! The dealer does not want to give a clear recommendation, only he doesn’t see any special advantages in Conti or Dunlop. Between the lines one hears that he would take the Nokian, but also Vredestein doesn’t despise – a real help stop… I’m now standing in front of the door with the winter. Whether the rate costs 160 euros more or less at the end would not matter to me if I were to use 3 to 4 winters.
