Hello, have a question on the topic Pressing depth for my thickness (3D) V8 Lanversion.Would like to add summer bikes 19 inches, with 255/40 19 100y Can I mount 8.5x 19 ET 38 original vw rim without thinking about the thickness or do I have to have them registered, with ABE unw. Or do they not fit at all.I know that I can drive 8.5×19 ET45 without hesitation, But a ET 38 ????

Hi together, I would like to buy a used Phaeton from a VW dealer. The whole thing is B2B because I would pay via my company. Question: I have the contract documents here and on the first page at the bottom in font size 8 is among other things: “the vehicle is sold under exclusion of the liability for defects in property.” WTF?! It goes on to say: “The seller provides the buyer with a guarantee according to the seperately handed over warranty conditions.” – sounds for me but that the dealer wants to get rid of the car cheaply. I have requested the warranty conditions now once. But if these are such warranty insurances with percentage car rental of damages it is not an unclean number. Or do I see this wrong?

Hello, today I have found a problem with the driver memory seat. I am not able to save any position. I think I do not do anything wrong, I get into the car, turn the clasp into the first position (motor does not run). Place the seat, outside and inside mirror as I should like to have it, print set and then for 1 second e.g. 1. After I move with the seat, but after printing from 1 it does not come back… Do I do something wrong? o as with the seats limp everything runs without problems…

Hello dear forum, I got stuck in my mind today, because I don’t understand the following connection: I would have assumed that the steering wheel will still be power-free in the straight run if the track is wrong, just standing wrong. Somewhere must there be a mistake in my mind? Do I just drop the power steering and the sensor technology down in the back? Do you know a good contact point in the net or also literature to make some sense of it?

Hello, I recently got a set of winter tyres including rims. It’s Michelin Pilot Alpin 5 (235/55 R17 103V) on ATS rims with KBA No 47806 (https://www.atu.de/external/fbs-bericht/57_1/ats285.pdf). Unfortunately, the report of the VW Phaeton (BJ 2007) does not list the rims. According to the dimensions, the rims should fit. Can I use these rims or is an expert opinion necessary? Thanks already for the answers.

Hello forum, since some time I have the problem that at approx. 90 km/h my front axle “flatters”. It actually feels exactly as you know it when the brake discs have an imbalance. However, it is independent of braking because even when driving normal it is available from approx. 90 km/h and disappears from approx. 100 km/h again. I only got TÜV two days ago and can say that the examiner really did his usual tests and apparently none of them I can’t connect it to the lowering because the problem existed before and occurs even if the chassis is in “high” mode. The phenomenon always occurs exactly at the same speed and otherwise in no other speed range. Could it possibly be due to the tires / rims? That would be the only logical thing? But why only at this speed and neither below nor above? I currently have unfortunately not a summer bike set since so I can not mount another set test by test. VG Tom

Dear Phaeton municipality, I recently bought a Phaeton. EZ 2006, i.e. GP0, 3.0 TDI with 224 hp. He hst real 174,500km run and is well maintained. It has been done in recent years a lot, I have got a portfolio with bills to it. Everything works except the ACC. I have used the search function and for hours read it but found no solution. Since my ACC is in a certain way I have the hope that exactly this error h The ACC functions as a cruise control without any problems after the start. As long as the speed is not reduced by the decency control or the brake is tapped it runs. As soon as manually or automatically braked ACC falls out completely with the message “defect”. Was there already the same and what was defective if necessary? Since the repair of the ACC with the “friendly” (after what I read here) also mei I would like to check all other options first. Moin Moin Checked for the ground points today after reading several threads. Cleaned the following ground points. Behind the horn,case room LI-RE,behind the armature board. From Jux still a control unit to try out. (50€) Nothing is happening. Symptoms: After starting it lights up for 2-5sec stable.Then it starts to pulsate easily.Front and rear lamps. Interior lighting also…Displays are stable.Voltages on the batteries OK.On-board battery with running engine 14,2V and start rbattery 15,2V AGM is new and FULL.Starter is also full hope someone knows further.
