Hello forum colleagues, I have moved the compressor into the right side compartment for the LPG conversion. To do this, the cables had to be extended, I did this with petrol hoses and so terminals (similar to Oetischer clamps, only with two clamp ears). Now it doesn’t hiss, but it would be interesting to see how often the compressor “should” run. So far I have determined the following: * After the start it starts _always_ for at least 20-30 sec. * During the ride it runs relatively irregularly Again and again a few seconds (so feels every 30 minutes short) * Car does not lose altitude overnight. Due to the installation of the compressor and the not yet completed insulation I have now of course “live” noticed. But is it normal? Does it run too often? Thanks for your input! lG Florian

purchase advice 7-8 years old phaeton
Hello dear motor talk friends! I watch the phaeton contributions are 2 years and am convinced that I can be helped here! ?? I want to get a comfortable car this summer, which is suitable for my 1.88m (27 years young) size and 115kg(ex-power sportsman) life weight. So I want to get in and out comfortably without moaning like Boris Becker ?? My idea was actually to buy a BMW X3 from bj.07 facelift automatic, 177 or 286ps… Depending on… M It is about 150tkm. The dinger go off from 16.000€ and have mostly not even electric seat adjustment…so half naked! now to my question! The PHEATON has always irritated me. The v6tdi with 222/239 ps is already available from 11.000€. If I assume that I would drive the car about 4-5 years and with the purchase price put the saved 5,000€ to the page and for the more costs that are incurred compared to the x3 with it. Should I get there with the pheaton unfavorably? (So 5000euro) more available for follow-up costs than for x3) For this I drive my dream car (pheaton) with dream equipment… instead of in a hard-tuned half-naked x3 !?! I try to keep the repairs cheaply in which I have the 0815 things at the colleague repair / exchange… (by the way only sf 03 at the stickpfl.) What do you mean? Is this realistic? I mean it is not a new vehicle where I value the stack stamp and because absolutely VW dr So the pheaton should be stumpable? THANK YOU in advance for the answers ?? And please answer only serious ones! No need to have fun on stupid chatters who were in life only corsa experiences

Phaeton does not recognize keys, no starting possible
Hello dears I drive (drive) a 3.2 petrol truck from 2002 Wanted to drive away with him the other day but I couldn’t open it with the key at the push of a button from a distance. The light at the door, which flashes red when it is locked, was also off. Then I opened the door manually by plugging the key in. Then I pushed it into the ignition lock and wanted to start, but then only the alarm went off. Otherwise there was no life sign of him. Keys can’t be pulled out anymore. I googled, you have to push with a pointed object into such a hole, then he lets it out, also worked out. But he doesn’t recognize the second key either. I’ve jammed the batteries and connected them again, now when I plug the key in, such a key symbol appears. And the radio is also running now Does anyone know what that might be? I’ve already read, could the ECU for starter jugtu How can you get there best without cutting the carpet? Could you have the device tested in the workshop? And if necessary, get a new one at ebay and then just have the keys coded? Or does the whole car have to come with you? Because it is not to be moved because it is in P position. Would be great if someone could help. MfG Andrej

Once again the dear trunk
Moin, I’m new both here in the forum and as a Phaeton driver. Unfortunately, I already have the first problem to fix directly. Vehicle: GP0 07/2006 V6 TDI, very well equipped, also with the automatic boot operation. Very few kilometers, battery was recently empty. Problem: The boot flap reacts to nothing. I can open and close it manually, but neither the switch in the door, nor the key, the button in the VW emblem or the button to close it. In a closed state, the lock does not lock either. It is permanently “folded”. Previous steps: First, I have read out and deleted the fault memory via OBDeleven. Didn’t help. Then, I have the trunk covering in the sure belief that it is a cable break. However, all cables between rear flap control unit and lock are continuous. This is what the error code after deletion says: 00318 – Supply voltage for control unit for tailgate lower limit was below sporadically 01699 – Engine for ZV, tailgate mechanical error sporadically 00896 – Locking unit tailgate unplausible signal sporadically guess: Maybe it really caught the control unit for the tailgate…? Has there been another good idea of you experienced Phaetonists what it can be and how I could check it out? Greetings, Dennis

Used 3.0 TDI as a beginner car
Hello! My question may seem funny to you. My 18-year-old daughter will study law from autumn onwards and needs a car that can pull a horse hanger. Now I have seen that one gets relatively small money – say 12000 – supposedly well-preserved 3.0 TDI with 100000 on the clock. Are there special problems? I once had a Touareg 3.0 TDI, where it disassembled the machine at 50000 because of a defective AGR (AGR runs through the V). Thanks ahead for all the Antwo rten lord-of-the-eyes

New in the round
Hi, my name is Daniel and I’ve been the proud owner of a diva for 3 weeks (as you call it).I’ve been reading and scouring your blogs and threads for a little while and it probably gave me the decisive impulse. I fell in love with a Luna Blue diva and had to have it absolutely. The driving feeling is absolutely awesome, you glide across the track and listen to the music or whatever. The search was actually limited to 2 models, the 1. was a white r from 2007, with allegedly 150000km on the clock, but very much lived and on request, whether I can have it checked at Rapacho, the dealer did not want to play along, so he stopped. A short time later the present one stood near me at the friendly, loud display in the net black with leather grey but still without pictures.Shortly still to be mentioned, which I absolutely wanted a 4 seater and these are then nevertheless not so often. So hmm gray inside was not so my thing but m When we (my wife was of course with) arrived astonishment He is not black but blue and inside he is also not grey but ok dark grey and the seats in a brown olive tone, exact designation does not occur to me. Test drive and yes that’s him. Ez 11.09 116000km 3.0 Tdi If someone knows the exact color designation of the leather, please clear me up. Give him a kiss and tell me your opinion, would be happy.

W12 immobilizer after replacement Kessy active, cables under the steering wheel are not assigned
Hello dear community I’m new here! Have a problem with my Phaeton w12! The Kessy control unit was defective due to water intrusion!! You know the problem!! So get new device (used) let data play on it and zack it again!! Now comes but immobilizer active 1! And the steering wheel ratters while turning quite again! So here of course read everything also from the Zottel! Problem is that we have exposed the cables under the steering wheel, but unfortunately more like 3 cables have felt so 10! What still amazes us right directly on the steering wheel hanging 2 cables loose with a connection that we can’t assign!! Can someone help us what else we can do? Thank you

Batteries, exchanges
Hello guys, now I’m one of the lucky ones, with 2 batteries in the thick. The big power supply battery (AGM) is starting to “weaken” now, especially in winter with the heater. Is only a 3.2 V6, but with full equipment, so after almost 6 years it is allowed to give up slowly. Before the whole electronics starts spinning, I will switch. Does a train rip on the rep instructions from the manufacturer, because just attaching do not trust me? Over the batteri e is a fuse/relay box, which must also be released or at least that the battery goes in or out. Thank you FatOne

Traffic sign identification does not work 🙁
Good afternoon @all, I’ve been the proud owner of a Phaeton Bj. 2015 for a few days and don’t make it that the traffic sign recognition shows me anything except that I’m in traffic sign recognition mode. I have activated this and then think you should also work or is there still a trick from VW ? I also tested it with running Navi and even without Navi only show it with Maps but unfortunately everything without success. Think the settings should all fit … For a few experiences or tips I would be very grateful. Many greetings from the Baltic Sea Rainer

RNS 810 sometimes restarts once – So not the standard bootloop
Dear Forum, in my 2009er (i.e. the first RNA 810 series) I got a restart under certain conditions. The error occurs under the following conditions: – With the RNA 810 a route is programmed without ignition and after the vehicle is switched on the return camera is needed immediately. After that the RNA restarts and I have to reprogram the route. It only restarts once. I have stored the following in the error memory: 01300 – Control unit for navigation with CD drive (J401) 004 – no signal/communication – sporadic Is then simply the CANBUS completely “full” ?
