  • Workshop recommendation for TÜV and Basics in western Berlin or eastern Havelland

    Hello dear forists, no I don’t mean myself, but rather the Phaeton (V6 BJ 2014, 155 TKM, full, running like lubricated). Since my neighboured screwdriver unfortunately now goes into the well-deserved pension, I am looking for a new (I prefer to write: competent and friendly) workshop: IN SCOPE: – TÜV 05/22 – Check brakes – Change windscreen wipers – Change tires incl. summer flaps on the aluminum rims – possibly change climate filters. NOT IN SCOPE: – Schischi – Check booklet (needs I don’t, but I wouldn’t mind either) – unfriendly misanthropes and abzocker It’s basically only about the basics–> Does anyone have a tip which workshop is recommended in western Berlin or eastern Havelland for this?   • Wishful thinking: suggestions for improvement for the GP4

    Hello friends, I think we all know what we have at Phaeton! A list of unmistakable phaeton-typical equipment highlights that make the driving experience so distinctive in the overall artwork would probably make a thick waltz and yet you must have driven it and experienced it in order to actually be able to talk with it. Nevertheless, there are a few little things that would have stood well with the GP4 and not belong in the category: land of unrealistic dreaming. So start with this I would like to see the list of features that would have been good for the GP4: – Illuminated seat knobs and memory buttons for the 18-way seats at the bottom of the seats. – The buttons that are positioned on the left and right of the navigator (after they were pressed) give a strange dull haptic feedback. It would be desirable to have a ratcheted, spring-mounted haptic and a small LED band under each button that lights up when calling the button. – The button for the window lifter would have at the front (where the index finger presses on it) a metal attachment not damaged. – The rotary buttons of the climate automatic and from the radio I would have taken from the GP 3 and not changed.

Planned was actually a sporty flicker, but that is another story.. My wish was a well-equipped car with light leather and dark wood / piano varnish. So for weeks the usual portals were searched. After a short phone call to the condition / history I spontaneously let myself be carried away to the purchase without having seen the car live. A few weeks later I picked him up in Vilsbiburg. Meanwhile the speedo shows 95t km and I can describe my first impressions: driving comfort and noise level are top, processing and quality impression for age and mileage very good.   • Slip side pane Adjust

    Hello together, with my Phaeton the driver side window does not sit quite straight. I would like to fix this now, if possible: Symptoms: – If you drive up the window, first comes the stop at the mirror triangle. The other side of the window then drives up afterwards 0.5-1cm. – thus I have the feeling, as if something is always pulling away and the window in this last step of closing the rear half of the window by a seal release. You can also It sounds strange, but it’s like that. If I drive the disc slightly downwards (without it moving out of the fit and creating a gap), the car is quieter.     Hello, I have been the owner of a beautiful Phaeton for a few weeks with good equipment. From the driving feeling a beautiful car. Unfortunately, the bushing of some previous owners has to be removed until it is really good again. Now to my problem. During the test drive everything was great and the car did not show any faults.   • Phaeton goes out on the ride and doesn’t start anymore

    Hello I have unfortunately the following problem with my phaeton 3.0tdi Year of construction 2011 He went out in the middle of the ride and couldn’t get started. I had it towed and read out, error was P0087 fuel distribution line/system pressure too low I looked for the pump relays but I can’t find them where they were already described in another thread. If I cross the pumps externally briefly it runs and then sporadically goes out sometime. This happens sometimes after 3 km and sometimes only after 50km I also tried different tank filling quantities without getting a hint. I hope one can help me here Greeting Raphael

  • Starter battery is not charged , alternator in order

    Hello Phaeton municipality. My Phaeton gp3 Bj 11, 3.0 tdi no Keyles Go power problems. The starter battery is not charged, so new battery worry the battery is 6 weeks old, against the same game Holds about a week and I have to charge it from the outside. Voltmeter shows whether engine is on or not at the starter battery about 12.9 volts on. At the comfort battery at running engines about 14 , 5 . At the plus pole in the wire harness engine compartment at the front right , I get on the left side harness without pimples with running motor 14.5 volts which is also mounted to my knowledge on the alternator. The right cable strand with pimples is mounted on the starter also 12.9 volt hedgehog whether the car is running or not. What do you think could be the error? Did any of you have the same problem?

  • With distance warning and ACC – noise from dashboard

    Hello municipality, if the distance warning warns (what else should he do :-)) then I have a funny noise from the dashboard from time to time, similar to when you hit a book.   • Insurance Bentley Continental Flying Track

    Hello, is actually not a Phaeton question, but there is no Bentley forum here and the two share the technology… I wanted to know how a flying track is classified as an insurance technical – but that is (for me amazing) not so easy. Practically in all insurance portals I can’t even select Bentley as a mark (not to mention a particular model). At VW you can choose Bentley, but it fails on the model. Does anyone have any idea, welc he type class has such a flying track? Or does it evade the type class system? How do you insure that? MfG
