Hello guys, I have been driving a 2019 T-Roc 2.0 TSI Sport 4Motion DSG for about 3 months and am generally also satisfied with the car. However, during the test drive I did not pay attention to the fact that the interior is unfortunately made up of a lot of hard plastic. Especially the door interiors bother me by now quite strongly and many of the drivers also talk about why the car is so “cheap” inside. Is there any way the door is processed. i.e. to cover with a fabric or to exchange the door handles for which of aluminum or similar? Or is there at least something to retrofit to get the storage compartments in the doors a little softer so that not everything is so clapping what lies in it? Perhaps also for the area in the center console where the beverage holders are, is there possibly something to enhance the plastic something for this? I would be very pleased about a few tips. Thank you and greetings

Comparison: T-Roc vs. Q2 – which take? Difference extra charge?
Since the topic in the other T-Roc threads occupies a large space, I decided to open my own thread here. I have been carrying around with the purchase of a Q2 for 6 months now, but for various reasons, which are also intensively discussed in the Q2 forum, I have not been able to get through so far. Now the T-Roc comes on the market and does not make it easier for me (and certainly many others too). It has been repeated in the other threads. I discussed the additional costs of a Q2 compared to the T-Roc. I have made here once several configurations of both vehicles (which is as far as possible) comparable. I have opened each of the two vehicles (petrols, 150 hp, metallic, Navi, sound system, external mirror foldable, parking sensors front and rear, light/rain sensor, LED headlights, light package, MAL front, air conditioning automatic, digital display, tailgate automatically, as well as other inexpensive extras that can be b) once checked with 17″ rims (all-weather tyres) and once configured with 18″ rims: Q2 1.4 TFSI sport, s-tronic, technolgie and comfort package:38,440,- or 39,335,- (with s-line sports package) T-Roc sport, 1.5 TSI, 6-speed: 33.725,- +1,800,- (estimated surcharge for DSG) = 35.525,- or 34,035,- + 1,800,- (DSG) = 35.835,- An additional price of good 3.000,- for Q2. Advantage Q2: – High-quality interior (aluminium optics) – High-quality LED headlight, with dyn. Blin klicht – Comfort key (additional, in the package) Advantage T-Roc: – Panormadach with roof rail (additional) – Rearview camera (additional) – DAB (additional) What do you think? There is nothing decided about me (always) yet!

We Connect/Car Net
Hello, I don’t look through all the apps and digital services at VW somehow. The search in the forum and on the VW homepage has unfortunately created more confusion than helped… So, if I understand this correctly, there is “Guide & Inform” and “Security & Service Plus” in my favourite equipment for three years. That’s the Car Net, isn’t it? And then I need the We Connect app and I could see if I’ve finished and the car to the No. But the T-Roc isn’t always online, right? Do I need the LTE stick for that? Or a second phone with a hotspot in the trunk? Do you know that from my test drives in Skoda Kamiq or Renault Clio, they’re always online – without anything extra, so they have a (E)SIM fixed… That’s not how the T-Roc is, is it? And Media Control is something else again, isn’t it? I can only use that in the car, or how?

Fog lights changed? wg. whiter’ light…”
Hello dear T-Roc community! I’m a little disturbed that the fog lights at the bottom of the apron still throw the conventional yellowish light on the road. I rarely ride in the fog, but when I turn off I see it regularly. Did one of you have to change these lamps for a whiter version? I don’t want to do big conversion measures, but rather just change the pears… Thank you for your help!

Battery constantly discharging
Hello, I sometimes measure the charge status of the battery from my wife’s T-Roc (1.5 TSI OPF DSG IQ.Drive 110kW) on the weekend. Although I only charged the battery with the CTEK 5.0 charger last weekend, today the battery level was at 36% (!), measured with a special battery tester (DIN 360A). I have also tried several other test modes (CCA, SAE, GB). As a file attachment I only have pictures after the charging, therefore the good values. My wife drives t This is not a long distance, but therefore also the petrol engine and no diesel. Of course, I realize that the battery will be charged at cold temperatures and many consumers (seat and steering wheel heating), but with only 1/3 of the battery capacity I will get into the pondering. The battery will soon be sluggish. Would a new battery be a guarantee case? However, after everything else runs to the fullest satisfaction, I suspect no defect of the alternator. Rather the assumption that the Is there similar observations from other T-Roc drivers? LG Oli

App-Connect: Discover Media for Composition Media
Hi guys, I have the possibility to drive a T-Roc soon. This includes the Discover Media with the Radio Composition Media. In addition, the equipment list says that this “App-Connect” is also on board. I watched the explanation video on the homepage. But I honestly don’t get that smart from it. If this app-Connect is with me then I have depending on the phone “Apple CarPlay” or “Android Auto”? And then what is this “MirrorLink”? In a Product video for the combination of Discover Media and Composition Media I have seen that you have the possibility to enjoy “W-LAN” under the media selection (play media from e.g. USB, SD or CD, …). Does this mean that you can connect the respective mobile phone with the car via W-LAN? If yes, this would be really a wonderful thing! I hope someone can help me here! Thank you. Greetings!

Active Lighting System
Do I see correctly that there is no “modern” light in the T-Roc, neither the “Dynamic Light Assist” nor the “Active Lighting System”, but only a boring driving light machine? Why is that? In two years (*ggg*) it should become a T-Roc convertible as a company car and I don’t want to do without shutter or matrix light now. My Touran II currently has it, but in the end everything is just a golf… 🙁

Show me your winter rims
Dear T-Rocler’s meal, would be nice if you would be here to post your winter rims. Need some inspiration about the purchase. I’ve already picked out some, but I’m curious about what you’re driving! LG
