Hi guys, I have the possibility to drive a T-Roc soon. This includes the Discover Media with the Radio Composition Media. In addition, the equipment list says that this “App-Connect” is also on board. I watched the explanation video on the homepage. But I honestly don’t get that smart from it. If this app-Connect is with me then I have depending on the phone “Apple CarPlay” or “Android Auto”? And then what is this “MirrorLink”? In a Product video for the combination of Discover Media and Composition Media I have seen that you have the possibility to enjoy “W-LAN” under the media selection (play media from e.g. USB, SD or CD, …). Does this mean that you can connect the respective mobile phone with the car via W-LAN? If yes, this would be really a wonderful thing! I hope someone can help me here! Thank you. Greetings!

Active Lighting System
Do I see correctly that there is no “modern” light in the T-Roc, neither the “Dynamic Light Assist” nor the “Active Lighting System”, but only a boring driving light machine? Why is that? In two years (*ggg*) it should become a T-Roc convertible as a company car and I don’t want to do without shutter or matrix light now. My Touran II currently has it, but in the end everything is just a golf… 🙁

Dear T-Rocler’s meal, would be nice if you would be here to post your winter rims. Need some inspiration about the purchase. I’ve already picked out some, but I’m curious about what you’re driving! LG

What extras for new cars.
Hello, since I have many electronic problems with my sportsvan, My dealer and VW offered me to switch to another new car. The size and characteristics of the T-Roc can only be considered for us. I also get a very nice discount ;-). The safety extras like ACC. and Co are definitely ordered. As an engine only one petroler is eligible. And there is the first question. I prefer the 1.5 with 131 hp. But is there for the T-Roc nic So what kind of engine? The 1l with 116hp or the 1.5 with 150hp. We drive about 17000km a year to 99% for two and once a year to the Königssee inc. Excursion into the further area. I prefer to drive a little more comfortable. I am out of the “Raser-Age”. Next week I can test both engines at the same time, but would be grateful for your tips. I can then go in the test drive informed. Is it worthwhile to miss Nebler and turn light for a heater? and I don’t really want to start scratching in the winter. And what should be absolutely pure and what is rather unnecessary. Thanks already for your swarm knowledge.

Emergency bike for the T-Roc Cabrio
In many years with different Mercedes Cabrios not only the vehicles, but also we have become older. Now there was a new purchase. Since there is only one “high seat” on the market as convertible, the choice was, what a surprise, on the T-Roc.?? Since we wanted to have the vehicle quickly at the beginning of the season, we bought a storage car. Unfortunately, it lacks the emergency bike. As a burnt child I would like to retrofit this absolutely. Can someone the spare part number ode r call a article number? Probably it will be the 125/70 18 99M with the rim 5×112, 3.5″x18 H2 ET 25,5mm, which will also be delivered with the “normal” T-Roc. I thank you for enlightening answers. take3

How to upgrade DAB+ and GPS properly?
Hello together, my name is Daniela and I have been reading here for a long time and now I need help. I recently bought a T-Roc as an annual car. And quickly realized that I would like to retrofit a Navi. My dealer directly also retrofitted DAB+. Unfortunately quite modest. And indeed with such ugly adhesive antennas in the disc. Since I am not quite untalented as a woman I have now planned to retrofit the two antennas correctly as from factory. Which is probably no problem. if you know which parts you need. I need your help now if I have understood everything correctly and need n advice for one or other article. DAB+ module has to be changed at the rear left. Against the module with the number 2GA.035.577.B. Now I lack a finished Fakra plug from the module up to the head unit. Is it ready to buy? Can someone help me? GPS antenna is probably included in the roof antenna. So I probably need 5Q0 035 507Q 5FQ? And that’s what I need too. Listening cables. Is there an overview of what antennas there are? It’s about original VW parts. Only if it’s no different I would dodge something else. Did I get that right? Hope you can help me. Greeting Daniela

Responsiveness Gas pedal delayed from the stand
Hello, so Nervt me something completely with my new T-Roc DSG 1.5L FSI (BJ 2020). When I tap the accelerator pedal out of my way to start driving, nothing happens at all, about 1 second long, and then from one moment to the other it reacts suddenly and exaggerated. During the ride no delay is noticeable. A gentle start is thus practically impossible, no matter how you try to adjust to it. The problem is, if you want to fill a gap “fast” , then you tend to give too much gas and don’t know how to do it anymore. In golf, also DSG 1.5L FSI (also BJ 2020) the problem is not present in any way, which reacts gently and promptly. Does anyone know this and/or maybe of a software update what can fix it? Please don’t come to me now with your standard answers like – the DSG learns your driving behavior – Gas pedal 1x completely push through when ignition because that’s all humbug. Thank you

New WLAN hotspot: connection to the Internet fails
I’ve been connecting my car to the Internet for 2 years via a WLAN hotspot, which I provide to him via my mobile phone. So far, this has always worked perfectly, with my two mobile phones, which I have professionally and privately, both are Samsung Galaxy S5. Now I have a new device, a Google Pixel 4a. Also with this I create a hotspot, with which the car also successfully connects, which shows both the menu in the car and the mobile phone. If the car doesn’t get information from the Internet via the hotspot, for example, calling the Carnet apps fails after about a minute. Traffic information is not retrieved either. The globe in the display remains pale and does not show a Wi-Fi lettering. If I connect to my laptop with the same hotspot on the new mobile phone, the Internet access works wonderfully, so it is not a fundamental problem of the hotspot or mobile phones. he hotspot of the professional mobile phone still works as usual. Only with the hotspot of the new mobile phone there is an inexplicable problem for me. Does someone know the problem and have a tip for the solution?

Question about comfort between T-ROC Cabrio R-Line and Style
Hello together, since I’m slowly going to the 60 now, I want to buy a comfortable convertible, and there is unfortunately not so much choice, but I like the T-ROC anyway very well. If, then with a lot of equipment, return camera, automatic, beautiful wheels, leather etc. Price only plays a subordinate role, will probably become my last chic car. Uncertain I am there with the equipment line. R-Line is chic, but to me comfort is very important. I have concerns that I will be unhappy with the smarter R-Line when driving when the car is too hard. I am happy about constructive contributions that will make it easier for me to make the decision, thank you.
