During the weekend, the outside temperature display showed more than 39 degrees. The air conditioner on the air conditioner had no problems with these high temperatures. I had set the blower switch either to position 2 or 3. I had set the air distribution on the middle nozzles. The temperature on the point before the “blue area”. A big advantage is that the up does not have medium air nozzles, but the air outlet on the top of the dashboard. the air conditioning system is described in more detail in the instructions of the Skoda Citigo (as PDF on the Internet). I am very impressed by the performance of this manual air conditioning system.

Driving performance unsatisfactory in the 55 KW Cross up
Hello, maybe someone can help me. My wife has been driving the new cross-up with 55 KW for a few days now. So far she runs a polo, Bauj. 2000 with 44 KW. I have to say that my wife prefers a moderate driving style and does not excite the existing engine performance in any way. So I was very surprised when she told me that compared to the polo the up is a lame duck. If of all things she says that, which had been afraid of the 55 KW before? I had to find out that my wife’s statements were still far understated. If I drive up the mountain, turn up the engine in the 3rd gear, then switch to the 4th gear, the power is immediately totally off and I am forced to switch back to the 3rd gear, in the 4th gear, the up the mountain does not work. I have not experienced this with any car on this mountain so far. The polo is loosely up in the 4th gear and lies in the 4th gear. ß speed up with his 13 years. So I have to say that the performance of the up was more than disappointing for me, and I really didn’t expect a racing machine, the performance level of the polo would be quite sufficient and that even my wife is disappointed in the comparison, actually speaks volumes. Can it be that the performance gets better after some time, or can there be any other mistake? I mean, to have read here in the forum that at e inem Up at the delivery was forgotten to release any lock so that the performance was throttled? Thanks for tips

Noise when loosening the coupling
Hello, our up is now a few weeks old. In the beginning I thought the noise will disappear soon, but it doesn’t: after starting one hears a grinding noise. Similar to that of a defective backlog, I used to have with a car. And when you step on the clutch the grinding is gone. If you let the clutch come back (also with gear) it is there again. What can that be? The engine is otherwise very quiet but this noise is slowly getting on my nerves. Is that normal, Does anyone have similar experiences here? Greetings!

up! and the colors
Hello, I’m thinking about ordering a VW up!. Should be a successor to my current Toyota iQ. But I have a problem with the color selection. Great would be a yellow, green or blue, but this is unfortunately only available for the Mii or Citigo. Also I’m not sure which version I should take. Either the high up, cheer up or white up. Why is there no or soon comes a white up with BlueMotion technology? Otherwise I can’t have an outside white, inside white up with My problem is that the up inside as well as outside should have the same color. Black I don’t want, because it’s too dark for me. Otherwise, with dark seats only red-red and dark silver-dark silver dark silver is possibly too boring and with red I have the worry that you might not be able to see red inside after a year. How did you decide? What combination do you like? Thanks and LG, Simon

Automatically open trunk
I want to open the trunk both from the interior via a button and via my retrofitted radio key. Does anyone know which line can be picked up at the front? I don’t want to pull a rib up to the button on the trunk flap, which then runs parallel to the existing one.

Crafting lesson: “Turbo” for the poor
I had a little tinkering on the weekend and I looked around in the engine room of my bike. What is right in the eye is the air filter with the long intake snoring. I had once wondered why the thing ends in the engine room and therefore also sucks in the supposedly warm air from there. Compared to the Fiat Panda of the last generation, it is noticeable that it sucks in directly behind the radiator grille. Also gleams to me, because 1. The air always comes from Drauß It is also accelerated, with the speed of the wind. If you now stand in front of the Mii, it is noticeable that the left part of the radiator grille is free and you can see directly on the engine. In short, the fresh air is supposed to enter the engine compartment. However, the warmer the engine, the lower the power. I have always connected this to the warm, sucked air. Deshal b I have marched, bought a hard PVC hose in the hardware store, suitable from the diameter to the intake pipe. One end I have fixed in the above-mentioned gap in the grill, that other end at the intake tube, shortened to the curvature (before this growth), so frontal the wind blows the air from the outside into the air filter. That the air speed is not insignificant, shows after all, this “expansion” on the intake tube, which should act as a small turbo. Ergo: Higher air velocity t and colder air = more power? I’ve been driving around like this for a few days now. I imagine that it pulls better. About like with a cold engine at ten degrees. In addition, there is the changed sound. A bit finer and completely more sporty. What you change with the thermals in the engine room, the engine itself etc. is of course out of the question. But I wanted to try it out. I won’t keep it in the long run, but can it actually do anything?

Luggage compartment cladding searched
Our new up is there, unfortunately the trunk cover is not so well solved. For the side paneling I found the felt coverings, I believe the coming from the Skoda and have to be adapted for the shelf.http://www.ebay.de/…/291188026507?_trksid=p2054897.l4275 The part number Z151NF1307 seems to be none of VW/Skoda, did not find the in Etka, is there something original or did I do something wrong? Unfortunately I have for the loading edge or back side Is there something original or not even from the accessory market?
