Noise during braking
Hello, I have my up! now since yesterday and since one tries to directly assign all new sounds to a new car I did not succeed in the following: Every time I stood on the brake for a long time or gave a long gas and then brake, the up! makes such a small crack noise. Was already with VW today, they also didn’t know anything about it but fortunately the demonstration car also had that of them. Does any of you know what it is about?! Would only like to know What’s that?

No, it’s not uncommon with the belt.My wife has the same problem. Not with the lower one!It is 1.60 meters and 56 kg light. But the belt also ties off her neck.It does not run blue, but it is unpleasant.Probably it is a “BLUEMOTION” model. HA !!!

New up! vs. Golf etc. used (the economics thread)
Hello guys, the topic in the thread “Which up would you order?” is now quite drifted off. I’m going to open a new thread here, as a follow-up to this post: click! At this point we can leave out why the up!, the Citigo or the Mii as a new car compared to a used car of larger class (e.g. Golf VI) is more economical, that is: Why can I drive the up! over runtime/stop time cheaper than the x-year-old used ones? ( Or the opposite.

VW Eco Up (Citigo CNG) residual value forecast
Hello, the two gennenant vehicles are very interesting for me as 2t car. I have calculated this now teny times but with the whole cost calculation there is an uncertainty factor (just the largest variable is, namely the resale value). Not the maintenance, repair, consumption special residual value after x years. Can one make there forecasts? it is a niche product, singlelcih 1% of all vehicles in D are powered by natural gas, the fuel station network is also poor (around 900 Service stations in D). can one roughly say that the resale value moves at the level of a petrol engine? I know, much depends on the development of petrol prices, on the linked natural gas price, on the acquisition from 2019, on the acceptance of motorists, on the further development of alternative drives (for the long term the plug-in hybrid will prevail), etc… What is your opinion? For example, can one assume from the information on this page? And what about the new price 2012 h The manufacturer’s EIA? Or the actual purchase price (which can usually be 20% under list nowadays) ? Because I would have lost 4500 Euro in the 1st year significantly too much.http://www.autokostencheck.de/…/ By the way, here are some gloomy prospects:http://www.faz.net/…/…uerchtet-zinpreis-von-4-euro-1512272.html

Construction deficiency ? VW Up – Seat Mii – Skoda Citygo !?
Good evening, I’ve been with a friend for a few days looking for new companies cars. (Small car) As a body Bauer I think I’m probably the first choice for this job. The decision was almost clear, namely a model of the current VW series: Up! – Mii – Citygo. Now to the problem, with all three models, which are identical of the basic structure, I noticed that there are two indentations in each of the two rear wheel boxes. are cavities or recesses in the wheelboxes potential rust stove, because there will inevitably accumulate moist dirt and especially in winter salt. Now, of course, I do not recommend to my acquaintance to choose a vehicle series that will probably have considerable rusting after the first 5 years !? Except of course, that I do not know the deeper meaning of VW for this initially obviously construction lack. What do VW think about it? Why do you think VW Is there no reference to these entries in the respective vehicle brochures and their benefits ? Does VW not break the business if it conceals the benefits of these entries to the buyers !? As a potential buyer, I have to assume that these entries are only useful for the purpose of promoting an early new purchase because of rusting.

Just like that: from Fiat Panda Natural to Up! Natural gas
Hello! I have been reading here for quite a while, always if there is something for you to explore for yourself, what you don’t usually get with or get to myself, I have been relatively happy since 04/10 Panda Natural driver and in the far north with 4.8Kg L-gas on 100 KM. The Panda has always done good services and in my time about 60,000 KM “tore down”, with normal maintenance intervals and on average 200 Euro maintenance costs (20T/40T/60TKM) Now my wife’s car (Erd gas caddy) due to be replaced and I got stuck on the up!! I picked him up very fresh today and I am curious how he will master the next four years (drive in the year 25TKM) consumption I hope for 3.8 Kg/100 KM – L-gas – now aside from the comfort, the panda had a 30l petrol tank and 2Kg more tank content, I am excited (driving highway 60%, country 20%, city 20%) The caddy also runs round, whereby I exchange action with the manual / electric gas pressure regulator found already curious – but was by the connection guarantee without rearmeck everything taken over by VW – at approx.45TKm So, only once so Thanks & Greeting Oh so, at fuel monitor I am to be found under mrmagic, but have not registered with the two old since a year – does not change much. The up! is however updated

Up! as a long-distance commuter car? Why not Polo BlueMotion?
I’d like to know how many people use their up! as a long-distance car for daily commuting to and from work here in the forum? If you do, how many miles do you drive per track and what kind of track profile do you have (%AB/ %BA/ %City) and how your up! beats on the track! What is your consumption at 100km (kg/l) at what speed? Are the seats suitable for long-distance travel, how is the ride comfort, quietness, noise in the interior, etc.? ! and not for the Diesel Polo Blue Motion? I’m looking for the right car for daily commuting (route will be about 75-100km per route). Route profile will look like this, get out of the town up to the AB and then back into the city. So probably about 10-15% city, the rest highway with speed limit. I’m now trying to find out if natural gas driving is better than diesel driving. The one with my route profile and the distance I would have to use the Eco Up! go to the tank every day, where I would create a week with the Polo BlueMotion without starting the tank. That makes good and gladly 30min. more time at the tank in the diesel/gas comparison. I would be very interested in your experiences and your reasons for buying the Eco Up! instead of the Polo BlueMotion. Thank you

Reserve wheel and first-aid kit/warning triangle
… where do you put the first-aid kit and warning triangle when you have the spare wheel? Do the two things fit into the wheel?
