Moin, moin, at our Eco UP! a new sound has changed after 3.5 Tkm: * At the front right there is a quite bright whirling/whispering. * It is not very loud (not to be heard at highway speed), but annoying, penetrant * It is gone when thrusting, shortly before the engine is switched off at start/stop (sometimes it comes quite shortly after the engine stops) * I have to check if it is already possible to hear before starting the engine at ignition. it’s an electronic noise (control unit, electronic gas pressure regulator,…) Oh yes, I haven’t been able to test it yet in petrol operation. Do you have an idea, guess what that could be? Already in advance you all have a nice sunny weekend, tottesy

Interval wipers
Hello to the forum, with many previous VW models (VW Golf o.a.) you could set the interval time of the front wiper, in which you turned off the wiper lever for the too long interval time and then again again. And exactly this time was then used for the interval wiper. Does anyone know why this in the Up! (model move, year 12/2011) doesn’t work anymore, whether you can continue to retrofit it cost-effectively or what it would cost?

No guarantee for radio damage
Hello guys, I have a VW Up! White Edition year 7/2012 since September 2013. The radio or player has the possibility to play MP3 CD ́s. However, I have the problem that the songs from title 40 always “jump” Have the feeling the further the laser moves outwards the worse it gets to listen to music. According to VW there is no guarantee on it because it is burned MP3 CD ́s. My saying to the VW people: “Show me a store in which I ORIGINALE MP3 CD ́s k of course he couldn’t answer me. Then he came up with the argument that it can be that the player is not mature for the amount of songs, because at that time, when USB sticks came out, most players only recognized MAX. 2GB. Seriously, the car is built in 2012 and meanwhile there are blanks that have 50GB, however, someone already had the problem and can they say that the radio has no guarantee???

Oil change – Which oil is the right one?
Hello together, soon my 55KW BMT Up will be the annual oil change. Since the oil prices at VW correspond to those of the gold prices I would like to bring the oil with me to change. Which oil is there – according to the board book is 502 00 and 504 00 suitable. Which of both? Are there recommendations for a particular variety? Merci Telephoneman

Problem with the gearbox
Hello, I have now since 05.01.2012 my Up! with 60hp and from the beginning (my mother had to pick him up at the VW dealer and it happened to her also 2 times) I get from time to time the gears (especially 3 and 4 ) not really pure. You have the feeling it still lacks a piece and if you let the clutch go then it crunches quite terribly in the gearbox. Does anyone know what that could be? If you notice it in time and something waits the gear goes completely in. In addition, I have from time to time (vo rallem now that we have -18.5°c) a problem with the horn. Sounds like it’s in one of the two (the deep) water.

Dacia brings an up competitor! Oh no, it’s a Suzuki…
At first glance I thought: Shit, now Dacia also brings something cheap in this class. But no, when looking and reading more closely, the vehicle turns out to be a Suzuki Celerio, Made in a very far away way. Just for your information, you have to know what else is going on. Unfortunately also without belt height adjustment. If VW had decided on a GHV at the time, this feature would be a real USP in the market of the competitors (although only in the Hyundai i10 in the best equipment). But well, the three-team up/Mii/Citigo sells without being very good, so VW probably did everything right.

Brakes in front squeak loudly when wet
Hello, I’m completely new here and need help or experience of “UP” riders. At my CUP-UP year 04 / 2014 with 75hp the brakes squeaky sporadically. Quite loud and mostly when wet is in the “game”. At the first time (at Km-stand approx. 6000) the discs and coverings were completely exchanged on guarantee. After only 2 weeks the same problem again… Again to the friendly, this time the vehicle stayed there three days. Then probably only exchange the brake covers. Stand on d about 2 weeks later, everything was back to the beginning… Now I explained the withdrawal from the sales contract. As expected, “my” dealer now pulls out all the registers and let himself be moved to an answer only after 3! weeks. Statement: “There comes then on 11.11. extra a factory singer who wants to look at this and talk to them.” 5 weeks after cancellation! Was now with the lawyer. So far I have found nothing to do with it… Now my question: Who has similar or even same problems with the front brake system on his “up”? Please urgently for answers, it would be possible that this is not an isolated case with me. Thank you and kind greetings as well as always “snack-free” ride, Resi

Switching to VW UP
Hello together 😉 currently I drive a Corsa D EcoFlex (diesel 1.3/95 hp) and would like to get an up!. I get better with smaller cars The question is of course whether the Up! can cope with my driving profile. I drive about 25,000km a year, of which a lot of land and city and about once a week 80km of highway. Since I already had an LPG car before the Corsa, so that last but again stress due to hiring problems, I really do not like on the E change co-up!. What do I have to pay attention to in a used up? Thank you for your answers! Greeting surfer 😉

Problems with Maps & More
Hello together, I have problems with the Maps & More again and again. Sometimes it doesn’t connect with the BT phone and I have to do a reboot first. But what’s annoying: the contact between the Navigon and the radio breaks off again and again. I want to hear a audio book from the mobile phone, set everything up and suddenly the radio goes on. If I want to switch back to the Navi, it doesn’t work. Then I can only choose between radio and CD. If I take off the Navi briefly and wi Do you have similar problems? Or did I only catch a Monday device with a wobble contact? I already checked whether the “arm” is stuck. It doesn’t seem to lie on this either, because I have to take off the navigator first, so that it can be done again. A wobble on the arm is not enough (but nothing shakes). Greetings Gidian
