As above, I need a scan of the up with Maps & More. It would also be nice if someone could still take pictures of the pin assignment from their radio. The former would help me. lg

Callback campaign “Leatherette Pack” – Seat covers / Status Up!
Moin together, about 4 weeks ago I received a letter in which VW announced a recall action of the “Leatherette” seat covers in front (the white keder seams could loosen themselves). Ok, I thought, no act, have vacation and give off the car. I save the details with my Volkswagen workshop here in the public area (fortunately by PN). After 9 (working) days I had the car back – with stains in the new cover of the passenger headrest and not quite attached to the seat, Also in the headrest area. The whole action has spoiled me the fun of VW and the UP! clearly – I have never experienced such a service chaos before – and am glad that I still have a motorcycle as well as a second car. At my written request and the reference to the defects in the implementation so far (14 days) no reaction has been made. Otherwise: I still find that the concept of the Up! is basically correct and also well implemented. I find too much fuel consumption (75 hp version) – the passenger window should be to be operated from the driver’s door (nervous more than I thought….) – the speakers and the sound (despite special package sound) are – well – max. mediocre – In the trunk lacks a lighting – trunk in the long term too small (we change the rear seat when shopping) – doors (2-door) too big I would not buy the up! again, since there are significantly cheaper vehicles, the e offer more. (we drive a Mitsubishi Colt 1.5 DID that offers a total of “more car”, consumes less and provides significantly better driving performance)

Sound Pac Plus and sports suspension a difference like day and night…
Hello together, two days ago we picked up our new Black Up in the equipment 4 doors, seat heating and just with 6 loudspeakers (Sound Pac Plus) as well as sports suspension in Wolfsburg. Since some may be before the decision of an up! purchase stands, here a few words about the last mentioned special equipment. We drove before our up two times up. Once move up (from the dealer) and once high up (rental car) each only with two loudspeakers and without sports suspension. While there The normal standard speaker system in the up with its two loudspeakers sounds more than modest, one has with the 6 loudspeakers which are bookable as an additional option an often better sound not least because of the now built-in tweeter. (2 x tweeter, 2 loudspeakers in the doors front and two speakers in the rear doors) I had initially considered replacing the loudspeakers (against Focal or similar) but am more than satisfied with the current sound. I can definitely recommend spending Euro in addition for the Sound Pac Plus! Due to the sports suspension the car is apparently richer on the road, also the steering looks a bit tighter and more direct. Also here, especially if you drive not only in the city but also sometimes country road I would recommend the investment in the sports suspension. The 220 Euro extra are well invested especially since the black and white models in D are not available as bluemotion but by the suspension that my it knowledge is identical to the BM variant is also at least partial taking on characteristics that, although small, should also affect fuel consumption. This is the first info and perhaps small decision-making aid for the future.

Red dots on white up!
Have you already looked at your white up!? At the handover I discovered it fortunately and indeed there were a lot of small mini dots in red on the whole car. They told me this is normal with white cars. It is rust from the overpass and goes away after washing once. I then tried with my finger and a little spit try to remove the dots, but they didn’t go away. At the end they polished my whole car and all the points were gone. And I’m happy.

Squeaking and creaking of the “maps & more” system (when playing IPod)
Good day, I have now driven 1200km with my up! It likes excellent, a lot of comfort, fast enough and the design has succeeded very well! I am happy to drive with it every day. But I have a little problem with the Maps&More Gerat, especially when I play my Ipod. The Gerat squeaks and creaks then sometimes, about once per minute (or once per two minutes). Has someone done the same thing? The Gerat is well connected in the dashboard I think, so what is I only noticed this when playing my Ipod (I have hardly used the radio yet).Other problem: the music of my Ipod beats over when I play it with maps&more Does anyone have the same thing? Greetings from the Netherlands!

Replacement car in case of warranty?
Hello, I’m just a bit loaded… I was just in the workshop because of an extremely loud (!) swarming tank and the “known” problem with the loud clutch. The service employee was quite nice (after I waited a 3/4 hour) and quickly admitted that this is not normal. He also took another up! and we did a round to find out that the “normal” up! did not have that… But now to my question: The service mitarbe Iter had already “dangered” me that if the car had to stay in the workshop (you first wrote to VW) there is NO free replacement car, because VW would not pay for it. I find that really a cheekiness high 3! Since you buy an expensive car from an expensive manufacturer, even has a MOBILITY guarantee and what happens: There is no replacement car. I then meant that you could book it under service and then the friendly one meant, if you do this with everyone If you could not offer any more service…. Ne, ne, ne Servicewüste Deutschland How is that with you? Some of you were already in the workshop because of warranty cases, did you get a car? Who paid for it? VW or the dealer? So VW Automobile Stuttgart can’t recommend it from the bottom of your heart!

Rockfall
So have the next problem with my up! But this time he can’t help it. This morning during the ride suddenly a loud bang and at the noise immediately recognized, that was probably a rockfall. During the ride I already looked for something but found nothing. The car, that brought the stone in rolling so to speak, was at least 80 meters before me because it had rained heavily and I had kept a big distance. Just wanted to clean a little bit of the beautiful aluminum and how the chance so I want to see it, the great rockfall on the driver’s side down in the corner. Fear that the disc ( after only 9000 km ) must be replaced because it is 3 cm from the edge and it must be according to Carglass website at least 10 cm from the edge.

Gear ratio
I wonder if there’s something wrong with the engine control. If I blow it up (white up 75ps) from lower speeds up to the 6.oooU/min there’s a , two areas where it gets somehow more air than fuel…there’s some lack of passage (if you can speak of passage at 97NM torque at all) … The real problem, however, is that in order to get to top speed, I have to blow the kid up to 175kmh in 4th gear and then in 5th gear. ng the speed can only be kept on a flat motorway and can still increase (sometimes on the A5 behind Karlsruhe), until then 185kmh on the clock stand… There is a problem with the engine control, the injection or the like before or is this simply a shitty transmission installed, because I can therefore save the 5th course for hunting as well as so well… Thanks for hints and tips. The VW Fritze on site is great, however, I have no time and desire with the around, because the anyway “experienced ” The Wolfsburgers have to collect until they officially let something out…
