  • Lexus lasted in AB of today

For all who are interested ,in the AB a GS450h over 33Tkm was tested. Result very good ,but the usual comments. The German diesels are better ,the BMW springs softer etc. In the end but nevertheless hybrid is the future. MfG

  • Security settings at the GS 450h

it’s nice to have all kinds of electronics crap in the car if it would only make sense to use it. Who can tell me how to operate the display of the navigator, phone while driving. As soon as the car rolls, neither phone nor nav can be controlled from the screen. Do I try the language mode, often comes the announcement, “no voice tag available” whatever that is? Can anyone help me? Thanks, romos

  • General questions about CT and Lexus at all

Good evening, at the moment I drive a 2008 Honda Civic FK3. A vehicle that hides the one or the other in itself which is annoying, but all in all a round concept with acceptable consumption for its performance. Now I have seen the new CT 200h and fell in love. Brochure (the thick) I already got worried. However, I have one or the other question, apart from the fact that I want to drive the Civic at least 2 – 3 years. (…) Lexus is no premium brand. Is that the cost of maintenance? So insurance and tax? What would the CT200h actually have to be tax-free? Besides, I ask myself what it looks like with the normal workshop prices? So for oil changes and inspections. Since I drive at least 30,000 km a year, the cost-effectiveness question also arises. From the stated consumption the Lexus would be far superior to my Honda, which I do not get under 5.7 liters of diesel. Has anyone bought the CT? How is d he satisfaction? What about the Lexus dealers (Toyota), is the premium claim also synonymous with the discount, house price, etc. Foreign words? I ask for numerous, if possible objectively usable information. Thank you.

  • Presentation: My Lexus GS 430

Hello together, on MT I have been active for a long time, but so far in the Volvo area. Now I have changed to Lexus and want to revive the area here a little, seems to be necessary To the vehicle there is so much to say: the special equipment is manageable, it is the luxury variant, sunroof, manganese violet metallic. I bought the car used, it ran 44,000 km. It is directly at the Lexus dealer a Prins VSI gas system with flashlube (whether ́s helps or also n After 6 years of Volvo V 70, of which 3 years in the diesel, the smooth running of the 8-cylinder is impeccable, the passage is brilliant, the 6-stage automatic switches optimally. The seats – with heating and ventilation – are good, the leather softer and “more valuable” than the Volvo, but I have not yet found the optimal position. The Volvo seats (until 2005 ) were already good…. The gas system works perfectly, switching after warm run to gas unnoticlic h, power is fully available, I can’t say anything about the consumption. By the way, the gas builder said that during the obligatre full-gas test, that – on gas – is not sealed off at 250, maybe this only works on the fuel supply…. I will examine it more closely. It looks like this:

  • Lexus GS450h or Mercedes E-Coupe

Hello together I need a new business car and I am still unsure what to buy. I drive about 30’000 km a year, mixed highway, overland, stop and go – pretty much divided to 1/3 each. I find the new coupe optically the hammer, the 350 CGI in a CLS tested – very pleasant, smooth running and has power. I also tested the Lexus, I also like super, very noble interier – maybe less sporty than the Merc, crazy motor – there can be the Me rc don’t keep up, chassis I found pleasant – the CLS was too shabby for me. Momentane Pro and Contras: Mercedes: ++ Superdesign (inside + outside) – by the way, I also sat in Geneva aum Salon + Motor also very good – possibly child diseases (new model) Lexus: + Beautiful design ++ Supermotor + probably the best long-term quality – small trunk Can anyone give me a tip? Thank you PS: I also set the thread in the Mercedes forum ;-))

  • Purchase advice Lexus IS (XE3)

Hello, because I just like the Lexus IS compared to the A4, the 3 Series and the C-Class, I plan a purchase of this car soon. Unfortunately I don’t get smart from the (but quite manageable) drives! I didn’t want to believe the data on Wikipedia at first, but it really seems like this: –> The bigger the engine, the slower the car?! the 200t has as 4cylinder 245hp it brings in 7 seconds to 100 and runs 230km/h peak. the 250 than 6 cylinder brings it only 208hp takes one second longer has 5km/h less topspeed and needs 2 liters more??? But the banger is the only 300h available in the program: with its 181hp petrol engine + 42 electric motor just on 8.4 sec and runs just 200km/h? When I look at the competitor from Bayer in the form of a 320i, with the same engine power (184hp) and WITHOUT electric motor, he manages the sprint in one second less and drives 30km/h top meh r… what’s wrong with Lexus, or do I just have a board in front of my head?

  • Lexus LS600H

Here’s the TEST So if I had the money and wanted to get a car in this car class, it would clearly be the 600h. Hammer das ding. MFG Popey

  • The disaster continues: Lexus never again, anger to the end

After reporting several times about the worst of all Lexus workshops (Leipzig), we actually thought that with the desired return of our leasing RX400h, the nightmare would be over. Far from it, Lexus still seems to go a bit more: because of imaginatively thought-out flaws (the DEKRA reviewer told us proudly and fairly naively that this workshop is his most important and long-standing client…) one more rebuttal of more than 4,000EUR on the leasing payments. The best thing: also because of an allegedly unreported accident damage, which had allegedly been repaired even badly. And the rims are damaged! I have so far returned in my life 3 Volvo SUVs, an Audi A 6 and a Porsche 997 as a leasing car, in a comparable condition. What Volvo always said so nicely at handover: “We can hardly expect our customers to bring the car back in a new state of condition…” OK, Porsche is still something else, but just to the contrary: “Because of the scratch before we risk the whole set of the legal charges,” the Lexus customers will at least be able to tell us that the biggest customer about the rest of their business.”

  • Lexus IS 250 – Basic Questions

Good evening, I have a few basic questions about the Lexus IS 250 times. There are the Luxury Line version and the Sport version. Both are separate packages. So I like the Luxury equipment quite well, it has some things that the Sport version does not have: among other things blue illuminated entry rails with the Lexus lettering, electric roller, center tunnel made of wood. I like that very well and in combination with light leather makes a great impression. The Sport version, however, has fine 18 inch wheels and aluminium pedals. That can be retrofitted to the luxury version for the sake of necessity. Or? But now the decisive thing: the translation in the Sport version is more splashy, in other words, you get ahead faster, isn’t it? Does this mean that this transmission translation really only exists for the Sport? I have already read many times that the Sport version is not so comfortable, i.e. quite hard – it scares off bits!

  • Find reliable and durable car

Jo moin together, I’m looking for a reliable car for my wife, who usually has few problems besides wear parts and is relatively humane in maintenance. I’m not an expert myself, but with Lexus or Toyota you’re definitely not wrong. What would you recommend? I’m open to all suggestions, from Toyota Aygo to Lexus is250 or Toyota gt86. Can also be another brand, the reliability and longevity are in the foreground.
