Hello Lexus-Gemeinde, am new here in the forum and would like to ask you for expert advice! After a BMW 530d Touring it should now be an SUV, since my choice has fallen on the RX 350. Unfortunately, there is no diesel engineization and the 400h is simply too expensive for me in the purchase. Is the gasoline engine still recommended? In addition, I have set a limit of max. 42,000 EUR at the price, so it is just an annual car from the dealer. Here now that me by the Lexus dealer v available offer: Lexus RX 350 EZ: 03/2006, onyxblack, “Executive-Line”, AFS- Xenon, air suspension, Navi DVD, sound system, tailgate “Easy Load”, rear camera etc… so full equipment, except metallic and el. GSD! The vehicle was in use for 15 months as a demonstrator and has run almost 20 tkm. Is in top condition, accident-free with 2 years warranty and should cost me 36,700,00 EUR, incl. VAT with cash payment. Thank you already in advance for your statements, Greets, zwozwanni

Audi Q5 or Volvo XC60 or Lexus RX400h?
My current A6 is running out of the lease contract next year. As the A6 is actually too long for me, I’m looking for an alternative. After a quick look at the BMW 3 or the new A4 I quickly said no to this class and came up with the new “small” SUVs. – Audi Q5 – Volvo XC60 – Lexus RX400h Audi and Volvo are certainly the most beautiful, the Lexus enthusiastic (me) by its horny techni k. The Q5 is the sportsman, the Volvo of convenience and the Lexus has bear powers when needed. Now my (something) provocative question in the Lexus Forum! Do you think all 3 vehicles are at the same level of the eye? Are there any other unique selling points for one or the other? I would be happy to have a factual discussion that does not go down to the level of “I have the greatest”.

IS250C presented in Paris
Photos PRESS RELEASE IS 250C – World Premiere Making its world debut at the 2008 Paris Motor Show, the new IS 250C combines the sporting elegance of the IS sedan with superlative engineering ingenuity to create a unique fusion of top-down driving pleasure and uncompromised closed-top dynamic performance in the premium sedan segment. Its lightweight, aluminum folding roof structure boosts the fastest three-part roof opening time of just 20 seconds. Through the recently compact packaging of its roof mechanism, the IS 250C offers a large boot space, generous rear seat access and spacious rear passenger accommodation. Sharing the IS 250’s 153kW/208DIN hp, 2.5 litre ultra-smooth V6 powerplant and 6-speed automatic transmission, the new Lexus convertible has been styled to offer minimal wind turbulence when driving with the hard top stowed. The enhanced torsional stiffness of the IS 250C design promote ride comfort approximation to the marque and, in coupe configuration, reduced noise, vibr ation and harshness (NVH) characteristics on a par with those of the IS sedan. Lexus IS 350…?
Why is this motorization not available in Germany?! Or is it still coming?! Just like the following lexus of the SR 350 Roadster?!images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.cwwcardesign.com/cars/pics/lexus_sr_350r.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.cwwcardesign.com/cars/lexus_sr_350r.html&h=600&w=800&sz=68&tbnid=qZ6CP47I8epVgM:&tbnh=107&tbnw=143&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dlexus%2Up%2B350%26um%3D1&start=1&sa=X&oi=image&ctimage&cd=1 Why does Japan have such cars or with more performance? There is no speed limit (GOTT SEI DANK)!

But Prius?
Hello I have been driving the RX 400h for some time. Really a brilliant car. However, I drive every day alone more than an hour by car. (50Km/h max. 80km/h, I avoid the highway). Unfortunately I have to fill up almost every 2nd week for about 130 francs. Since you think, makes sense to drive such a car alone. Then I thought I drive the Prius. Really a economical car but the quality is not Lexus. I am thinking about changing the car. I would have the IS as a hybrid but there isn’t yet. : ́( What would you recommend me. Should I buy a Prius or should I wait until the IS Hybrid comes out? (When does the IS Hybrid 2010 come?!) Thanks and greetings

LEXUS IS220d / Toyota Avensis D-4D Cat (177PS)
Hello, I wanted to know if someone has already compared the Lexus to the Toyota resp. has already driven (driving behavior etc.)? What about the turbo hole so often mentioned? The Lexus is a bit weaker than the Toyota. I find something sad. Not that I want to make the Toyota bad now, but I think that you are more used to the engines (I don’t know how to express it) of a premium brand or however, are a little stronger than the series models I was looking at the IS220d yesterday and was positively surprised by the vehicle, both from the outside and from the interior. I can’t understand different reviews in the forums about the vehicle. Sure, no vehicle is perfect and that vehicle has different advantages than another. I drive an E46 320d myself and it’s not as reliable and so on as is often claimed. Thanks in advance for every review…

Does Mazda copy a little Lexus?
Now have a Lexus for some time and must say a rare guest on European roads. But Mazda can be seen driving around everyday. Now the new model of Mazda gives the Mazda 6 and I am always amazed how close he reaches to the Lexus form and time and again I catch myself and tell me oh that was not an IS. Looks also good from the Mazda, have always only externally examined him when driving by. Now comes the off-road car of Mazda and see there, the like Is the RX strong? BMW forbids Japanese or Chinese copies of the M5 and what does Lexus???

Test drive with LS 600hL
Moin, today my GS was allowed to sniff out workshop air as it just turned 3 years old and also needs new shoes for the summer. Actually, all this should have been eaten within an hour, appointment was made and therefore no replacement car was ordered. Unfortunately, my parking brake had become too faithful to its name and was fixed, which required some rework (and a subtle hint to the one foot parking brake apparently not used to OHL…). The following dialogue: Workshop master: Day, Mr. D5MÄN, where it takes even longer with your car, they certainly have boredom? D5MÄN: Well, won’t take so long, or (I had my 6-year-old son with me, who couldn’t go to school because of illness…)? Workshop master: Hmm, yes. Whether you could pick up a spare part at a foreign brand workshop, my people are all working on your car. D5MÄN (ironically): You think I should pick up your errands. in time? Werstattmeister(grins): Yes, you can also take the 600…. D5MÄN: heel, sabber So keys packed and started with this: (sorry, only mobile phone cam included)

1 great Lexus is given away
Hello, yesterday I read that Paul McCartney is being attacked because he had his 100,000 Euro Lexus fly in directly from Japan. It is supposed to be a hybrid lexus. The energy waste generated by flying in instead of ship transport, is to be a multiple of the one saved by the hybrid throughout the whole car life. But much more I like this addition: “McCartney got the 100,000 Euro car from the company Lexus gifted”. Great, other People have to buy it and someone who already has quite a lot of money will even be given it. What do you think about it?
