  • Brand change…BMW driver goes Lexus?

Hey, so I’m still driving a BMW 120i, now I wanted to get a new vehicle at the end of the year! My mum driving an LS 460 gave me the idea to look at the Lexus model series, because it seemed so enthusiastic about her ship you have to say! πŸ˜‰ Since I had a BMW 325i Coupe in mind the latest model series the IS 250 was the logical comparison partner! Engine data and car type are already alike… BMW 218 hp row six cylinders against LEX US 208 PS V6 Motor Well, the BMW is a bit faster in the sprint on 100…but doesn’t want to run a 1/4 mile car! πŸ˜‰ Sound technology is not sooo much to align against a BMW, but what also helps for all other manufacturers! What I like about the Lexus is the sprint from 160 to 230…already impressive! You notice the V6…and the sound is awesome! The average consumption of the Lexus is about 10l…where I also get my first question! come…where’s the actual consumption…where do we say sporty driving…?!!? Experienced? The IS 250 with sports pack as full equipment is good 8 mille cheaper! Would you like a three doorr but otherwise there’s nothing wrong with the look of the Lexus…at least outside! Inside I’m disturbed by the somewhat cheaply acting manual transmission…or with the automatic that the “paths” of P add D/DS are to be seen! Well, little thing… So to get to the point…which A is a little bit of a problem… rgumente speak for the Lexus?! something like.. -rare to see, i.e. exclusive problems? Special features?! and and and….all about the “Lexusmobil”! In this sense…happens into the keys! MfG

  • What kind of music does the Toyota/Lexus/Daihatsu community hear?

Hi guys! Well, as the thread name says, I want to know here what you hear Toyota, Lexus and Daihatsu drivers for music, be it in the car or anywhere else. (Of course, all ”foreign brand drivers”’ are welcome ) But please don’t go for technical things like hi-fi equipment or the sense and nonsense of certain music styles. And: it should be peaceful here!! You can also call the tracks or artists you just hear or prefer. . So then…. Greetings, Heron P.S. My answer will follow at a later time, as something difficult to put into words for the first time since her turn….

  • Lexus Hybrid Advertising

Have any of you ever seen the new Lexus Hybrid ads?! I like the ads, only the end didn’t succeed: drawing the hybrid components into the car looks ridiculous and the English-speaking hybrid sounds kind of weird. I think you would have better omitted the former and done the second in German.

  • Lexus IS 250 Automatic cracks

Hello together We own a Lexus is 250 of 2011 I think it’s going to be a top part… Only one problem I don’t understand; if we park in front of our house in the driveway and then leave the Lexus there for a while (max. 1 day) and we want to go and put the gear in (or put it on D) then there is a huge crack that you can hear very clearly. I have to say our driveway is quite steep there slope plot. We also always park with P + footb Is it normal that he cracks when you put the gear in? Is this perhaps due to any forces acting against each other through the + P + foot brake on the slope?? Does it cause tension in the gear or something like that?? Maybe you can help me further, because somehow I still understand where the cracking comes from.

  • Lexus CT200h – a real savings car?

Hello everyone! The CT200h is praised in the highest tones. It is the “non plus ultra” in terms of environmental friendliness (at the moment). Is that true? Can anyone confirm that? Is the average consumption of max. 4.1 liters (Super) kept to 100km. Or is it just such an indication that comes from the test bench – as usual. Are the driving performances acceptable? For example when overtaking on the road? v/max 180 at 136hp are not exactly luxuriant. The second heart of this car is the nickel-metal hydride battery (Ni-Mh). What about the subsequent costs? Not only the tax and consumption are among the maintenance costs! We leave out insurance – but the regional differences are too large for that. But what about the standard costs for small/large inspections? Service intervals (time or mileage)? …also more and other experiences…

  • Part market for Lexus GS 450h & IS 250

Hello, a well-known one of me would like to get a Lexus, since he has always done everything on the car for himself the question arises for him what it looks like with the parts supply e.g. in the internet? Have looked around me and it looks very rough in comparison to share it for German manufacturers, if you want to order parts to then install them yourself. Alternatively: Can you get all possible replacement / wear parts at Toyota? If yes how does it look there with the prices? Beisp iele for GS 450h & IS 250 would be good! Thank you already in advance for your help!

  • Lexus IS 250 or BMW 325i?

Hi, I’m thinking of getting a new car next year. But first of all to me, maybe you can narrow down the decision already: I am 23 years young and trained computer scientist. I’m currently driving a Honda Civic MB3 Bj 99. I love this car. He never let me down and he still runs around like on the first day. He is now 3 or 4 years in my possession. Now, however, something with more “power” has to happen. I’m a person who likes to get a little out of my way. lenes has, say, what not everyone has, which in this case would be the Lexus, but also let me in against convincing arguments on other vehicles. I drive back almost 70 kilometers to work every day (35km and 35km). Mostly country road. I always liked Lexus, but also against BMW I have absolutely nothing to object to. What would you recommend me? What I have heard from Lexus so far, he should be very quiet, which bothers me personally something, because if I drive a V6, I want to I hear that too. It should have a relatively high consumption!? What does it cost in maintenance and how vulnerable is it? What else I have heard, it should drive relatively sluggishly despite the 208 hp. If I would opt for the Lexus, I would take it in full equipment, at the BMW I would cancel because it is simply too expensive. Both cars are not used as a new car, but rather as an annual car. What would you recommend to me? What are the advantages and disadvantages? egen ΓΌber des BMW? Alternatives? I like the Lexus better optically. I don’t want to say that the BMW looks ugly, quite the contrary, I just like the Lexus optically better. Greetings MarciX

  • RX 400h starter battery dead, bridge easily possible ?

Hello Lexus driver, should drive the RX 400h of a good friend out of the garage. Since she emigrated, she could not move the Lexus of course either… Unfortunately the battery seems to be so dead (8 months of service life) that even the interior lighting is no longer possible. Is the bridge easily possible, in relation to hybrid technology etc. ? Or does this have nothing to do with it ? Have never had anything to do with such technology. Are there any faults to expect (displacement lock) etc.) ?? Or excitement on it, start and everything is tacko ? With greeting from Lake Constance !!

  • Preheating in the hybrid

Hello, I am completely uneased about hybrid vehicles. For explanation. For me a new vehicle is available this year. Actually I wanted to buy an E-Class, but after the whole discussion about driving bans, a trip to a reasonable hybrid would not be foreign to me either. Since I have come a little “into the years” however, I do not want to do without such small amenities. And then begins my question. I am interested in a GS 300h and would like to know whether it is possible to retrofit a heater? I mean, if there are any problems with hybrid vehicles with such retrofits? Thank you very much for your answers.

  • Battery Lexus RX 450 h

Hello Together How long does the battery (electric drive) last from an RX 450h? And how much does the replacement cost if one is due? I’ve been enthusiastic about the RX450h for a long time – but I’ve always landed at the German mass goods…. Thanks and greetings Roland
