Hello, from England I got a SC430 RHD as successor for my 320 CLK – of course with all documents, full service booklet and technically brilliant. For GB by no means the rule … In short, I am thrilled how gorgeous and uncomplicated the SC runs, despite 140′ ml (approx. 225′ km) almost like a new vehicle. Admittedly, not everything is as perfect in detail as with the German Premiums BMW, Benz or Audi, but that was clear to me from the beginning, and I like to take that cheaply nd in purchase. Even the form I like now …. What bothers me are e.g. details of the “on-board computer”, which simply offers little, and especially the Navi, as of 2002/2003! How can you get an update for “small money” (current CD)? Sure at Lexus directly or the online Lexus shop, but if I think about the Benz or BMW prices, I can imagine the Lexus price well. Would I be very pleased about tips! Greeting to all SCler Avon35

Lexus IS300h Privilege
Hello dear Lexus community! Since I sold my Mercedes E-Class W211er because of constant problems, a purchase deadline for an IS300h privilege came. Due to the top price of only 31.990β¬ I ordered a completely new one, which will be delivered soon. Unfortunately, the Lexus dealer could not answer some questions quite concretely, so I hope I will turn to you: 1.) Was somewhere saved in the quality to make this offer possible first? 2.) It is a limited special model with a special equipment, so I would like to know exactly what distinguishes the privilege from the original model? Lexus cites some things as additional equipment, but these are also part of the series model. 3.) Lexus advertises the privilege with the “LED headlights”, i.e. these beautiful new triple LEDs from the F sport from the model care (also visible on the advertising photos), but now I have seen one live and this one had “only” the normal Bi-Xenon and I was told that this must be a mistake of the marketing department. Now my question: Can one convert these later on to LED? And do the Bi-Xenon headlights suffice, since now the fog lights have fallen away since the Mopf? 4.) Is there possibly something else important that I should know about the privilege? I thank you already now in advance for your answers! Greeting Max

LEXUS or not?
Hello dear forum community! Looking for a new leasing vehicle I am looking for problems with Mercedes with a 400 Benz again at the very beginning, so I thought hey why always the German square deers who stand at every corner? Such a Lexus LS looks good. Do not need to play games and does not want to be in the internet but on the road. 6 cylinders, leather, wood, quality, service. These are the criteria. My son would add yellow but better not π Lei I have absolutely no idea about Lexus, the next dealer is over 70km away. Before I dig the idea I thought I’d ask you about your experience with leasing at Lexus here in the Lexus Forum. Are the terms better or comparable to BMW, MB etc. New cars or leasing discounts? How is the service support since you satisfied? Ask me what I do with problems when the dealer is so far away, or can any Toyota dealer do the same? What are the differences between u the nevertheless very uniform German competition ? What is there to consider with equipment / packages? Thank you for your experiences and opinions! Greetings, a nice weekend!

Lexus UX 250h New model since March 2021
After the BMW Grand Tourer 218d I wanted to have a hybrid! Plug in Hybrid needs too long charging times for 50 km of electric motor. The Lexus UX 250h Hybrid drives without socket stays endlessly on battery power. Example: Mountain road, winding roads 210 km = 3.8l/100km The petrol engine is only required if you want to overtake or travel faster. Tempomat, lane stop assistant, traffic sign detection, distance to the vehicle ahead. Autonomous driving is possible Air conditioning system for warm and cold days in order. Anti-theft protection. Dead-angle assistant in outdoor mirrors. The acceleration of the two engines is amazing. “The UX pulls off like Schmidts cat!” Locked off at 177 km/h. = 5.4l/100 km. City traffic in pure battery mode – without km limitation. Road position excellent. Inside very good workmanship. All in all: an extraordinary cross-over truck. With many sophistications, the m This car is really fun for me! My wife was only skeptical – now she loves the car!

ES reflections completed
Hello together I had written here some time ago that I was thinking about getting a LEXUS ES, as the successor of my Mercedes C400. These considerations have been completed. I will probably get less to read in the forum in the future, because the community is much smaller. Means: I ordered. Delivery should be at the end of the year or at the beginning of 2023. I am looking forward to the car, because I like design, interior and materials very much. The size would not necessarily have to be a few centimetres less would be enough for me too; but what’s the point? I would like to thank everyone who helped me with the decision. Especially Peter from the Netherlands, who reported with his test report and his positive statements from the everyday life of an ES driver. Now it is time to wait and exercise in patience. I have already planned the operating instructions. Let’s see if I have them through until delivery. Dick enough is it. That’s how it would be for today. Vie Greetings and nice weekend

Long-term experience with IS300h ?
Hey dear Lexus pros! I am currently buying a new car and I am interested (beside the Jaguar XE) in the Lexus IS300. It is planned that I buy a 2018/2019er with less than 30,000km. When I just got my driver’s license the first Lexus IS has been introduced and since then I always wanted to have a Lexus. Professionally it turned out that I have always got a nice Audi for the last 12 years, which of course I don’t want to have a Lexus. How are your long-term experiences with the car? Are there people who have driven 200,000 and more and can tell me how reliable this car is? Currently I drive about 50,000-70,000km per year and want a comfortable and reliable car for the next 3 years. How good is the automatic and even more important, how good is the adaptive cruise control?

Purchase advice more than 10 years old GS or RX – change of Mercedes
Dear Lexus community, there is still an E-Class 350 gasoline engine from 2009 with 292 hp. Unfortunately, the car is increasingly unreliable and the defects are now so expensive that I want to sell it. Just 4 months ago I invested 3000 euros and now the next defect, which costs the same again… I had now thought of a Lexus, because I got used to the performance and the driving feeling of the Benz and would like to have something nice but less annoying. inde the models GS and RX are beautiful, which are so 10 years old. As 350 or 450h there are the so around the 10,000 Euro, but then not always usually 2 previous owners and 120,000 to 170,000 km on the clock. Now my question: Are there typical weak points with the models, which can become particularly expensive? For example, is the air suspension at some point or – as with my Mercedes – there are problems with the direct injection? Do I have to make sure that something (recalls, timing belts…) was made? Of course: Do you think that I can buy a car like this and drive it for a long time without suddenly becoming expensive? Should I use a model with such an age/running performance rather to the hybrid or 350er? Is any equipment or a certain gearbox not recommended or the absolute must? And which should I take? RX or GS? What do I want? In any case, a lot of comfort, also a lot of performance, and as little trouble as possible. r/many km bought and experiences made? Are there possibly even changers of Mercedes?

Question: Register new tyre pressure sensors on the vehicle
Good day. For 2 weeks I have called a Lexus UX250h my own. A very nice vehicle! I bought a set of new winter bikes with RDKS universal sensors (ital sensor IT-230) on the open market. When ordering I had to specify the exact vehicle type. In the manual of the UX it is described how to register a new wheel set at the car: start the registration engine and drive at least 10 minutes by car. I drove an hour but at the message “sensors are stored” Γ€nd The search on the net and here in the forum does not bring any new insights. Does anyone here have experience and a tip for me on how to get the new sensors registered without going to a Lexus/Toyota workshop? Thank you in advance.

RX450h vs XC90 vs F-Pace
Hello, I would like to enjoy a new vehicle for the first time in my life. On the short list the XC90, the Lexus RX450h and the Jaguar F-Pace have made it. I am still uncertain with the Volvo if it is the extra price for the PHEV value, otherwise B5. I am test-riding with all, no one is bad, in all I sit well and get well with the operation. Optically I like the (new) Jaguar best and would also be low in the advantage of the costs but Brexit? Jaguar? Ausl I had a relatively expensive, high consumption in spite of full hybrid but good car and above all first-class, kulante Werstatt and service. With Volvo I have had little work in the past, but there are three full references in the environment (XC60, XC90 and older XC70 CC). However, everyone has had bad experience with workshops and had to look until a satisfactory workshop was found. With the car itself they are very satisfied. It’s as if all three models would stand around the winner’s stack and everyone has already put one foot on the podium to climb the 1st place. I can’t decide. Has anyone here already distinguished themselves between the mentioned models and why chose or rejected what? LG Peter PS: I will post this topc in the other two subforen too, hoping to not violate any rule and not kick anyone on the tie.
