Hello, I just looked at an Avensis SOL Bj. 1998 110 HP, 43,000 km in almost perfect condition. The car has climate and metallic paint. It is a 5-door with 2 years warranty. How is the car qualitative? What can cost such a thing? Something to consider? Thank you!

No power from 2200 rpm Avensis T25 2.0 D4D 126 hp
Hello forum! I drive an Avensis T25 2.0 D4D from 2007 with 126 hp. I bought it as a used car on Monday. The annoying, only after the pick-up on the highway I had to notice that the engine is very heavy over 2200 rpm and actually as good as not accelerated any more. 160 kmh were the highest of the feelings. Up to 2200 rpm everything is inconspicuous. In the test drive, which took place only in the city, this was not noticeable in the lower corridors. The car starts to jerk on the motorway at 130 (approx. 2200 rpm). MKL and so on does not work. Emergency run accordingly probably not? I already got in contact with the dealer and he will take care of it on Friday. In order to speed up the troubleshooting, I did a little research out of interest, which could be the fault causes. Under other things DPF, AGR valve, LMM and (but rather known at VW) turbocharger adjustment/steering. It’s the easiest way to test, where you can just put it there and try to move it. I tried that once, but there’s nothing going on at all. The vacuum box also looks pretty gammy. Would the fixed adjustment speak for this fault picture? What else would you have for ideas?

Toyota 2.2 D cat hardly pulls from 2200 revolutions
Good day, We were on the weekend a few hundred kilometers on the way. On the way my wife suddenly noticed that the 2’2 Dcat (2006 Bj177 Ps) did not pull any more properly. I then tested it, he pulled generally bad and from 2300 revolutions almost no more, like with 100 Ps. Then suddenly, after he was parked, he pulled again about normal. Today back drive, again the same. First he drives normal, then starts again. A motor light does not burn, very funny! We must n anyway make an appointment because of a recall action, but maybe someone can estimate what that is and whether you can drive like this without ruining more… unfortunately the car needs. Thank you, greetings

Avensis T25 (Xenon) headlights too dark
Hello, I bought a T25 used (private) at the beginning of the year. The car got the TüV seal in front of my eyes at the DEKRA. He had to pass for inspection of an exhaust probe, which was repaired by the previous owner (with invoice in the Toyota car dealership) and the car is passed by the inspection of the TüV. Now it is the case that when I drive on the road in the dark there is incredibly little light. I was therefore there two months ago in the workshop there has Tell me that it’s the Xenon burners and they changed for 100€ or 200€. I drive little country road and so I noticed now that it didn’t work out. Other cars have a real light cone, with me there is hardly anything. Motorway driving still goes, but on country roads it is really brittle. What can I do there? I have read somewhere that another part of the T25 with Xenon is a problem. Can you please help me? It’s a pre- Facelift model.

Sales advice Avensis / Kombi
Hello! We are a young family with a child and I am now looking for/need a station wagon. I am about 2 meters tall and need a diesel. I have the following favorites: – Toyota Avensis – Opel Vectra – VW Passat – Mazda 6 I had actually thought that the corresponding car should not have been older than 3 years and should not have run more than 80,000 km. Because wouldn’t want to sit right there with reperatures. With the above criteria the Vectra would be best to get. With good hand I would probably get it for 11,000 euros. Now my questions: 1. Which of the above-mentioned models would you advise me to do? I am concerned about price performance, reliability and known problems. 2. Can the Farzeug also have run quietly 4 years old and up to 100,000 km or is that already too old / too much? Hope you can give me tips! Thank you, rose bomber4444

Hello people I’m a new one here in the forum, have bought my wife and me a Toyota. Not even tried everything yet and already the first question.I would like to install or install in any case 4 parking sensors for front.Hinten is already and additionally camera. My question is whether the set with the part number PZ464-T3423-00, is tested for Avensis models from production November 2011 and released according to Toyota also fits into my model May 2010 , or whether there really changes instead of Toyota has unfortunately not given me a satisfactory answer. And my next question is if you can easily install it yourself it should fit. I thank you in advance for your answers. Greeting Werner

Engine damage: T27 year 2014 KM 65,000
Avensis T27 Year of manufacture 03/2014 5013/AFL 1.8. Petrol, 108kW KM 65.000 Hello and moin, in mid-December our beloved family car had a real engine damage. 1. Diagnosis by ADAC: spark plugs, ignition cable etc. Would have been nice… Then the shock message from the friendly: 3. Cylinder without compression The cylinder is knocked out, the oil is pushed out above etc. Today came the second shock message: Part engine costs approx. 5.700,- € possibly after disassembly and further sighting plus 3.500,- € for ne oe Piston or similar. A culant is rejected by Toyota. I don’t know why and why… The car was always for inspection, everything has been stamped properly and in due time. 3 X inspection at Toyota 1 X inspection (2018) in brand-independent car master workshop Now we are ready and ready… Do you have tips on what can be done? Does the engine replacement, possibly with an engine specialist, pay off? Are there any recommendations from you for the Hamburg West? . Unfortunately. Thank you very much for your help

Question about acceleration T25 Diesel 2.2
Moin together, wri have been the owners of a Avensis T25 2.2 diesel for a few days. Since it is our first diesel, this is of course a time of conversion. In addition, we have so far only driven smaller cars in the size Polo/Golf and not such a “battleship”…^^ What I have noticed so far is that when I push the accelerator far through, nothing really happens for 1 second and then you notice that the engine pulls properly – regardless of the gear. I was always told that a diesel engine would be strong in the lower speed range. After that the 177 hp pull really well. That the Avensis can’t be particularly “spritzy” due to its weight, is clear to me, but I would have hoped for a little more. Is there anything on the car or is that just the “character” of the engine? Best thanks to Lapje
