At this point, thank you very much to you! What I don’t know is the winter riding characteristics of the RAV4. How are your experiences with ice and snow or even in the light terrain (mash, wet meadow, slippery ground, steep slope, gravel etc.)? What does the four-wheeler really do? Hello, the next summer is approaching unstoppably and I am thinking about AT tyres in 225/65/17: a.) General Tire – Grapper AT/HTP (To Grob for a lot of road?) b.) Dunlop – Grandteck AT3 (saw tooth formation/noise after some time?) c.) Michelin – Latitude Cross (more winter tires through lamellas?) d.) Winter tires ride all year round (too soft for summer, ride too fast, are then too hard in the coming winter because softeners steam out over summer, too restless road lurches age?) Greetings

Hello all, I have a question about locking the RAV (BJ2013, no keyless) by radio remote control: is this possible if the rear door is still open? I have the following problem: I get my little girl out of the child seat, maybe still have the baby bag in my fingers, close the door with the elbow and then have to reach for the key and lock it by radio. There are also cars that do this differently: you press the button first, you are already locked (without jedoc h first to blink) and then when you close the door, it flashes for confirmation. Hello The other day I left my car at work and wanted to start again the next morning. But there were 3 indicator lights, the fuel oil lamp, the oil level and the one for the alternator. First I checked the oil level of this was actually on the lower point of the indicator, then I filled something up. I expanded the alternator and examined it. Everything was in my opinion fine but the battery just won’t be charged. Before ic h change the alternator I would like to know if it is due to the battery, which is only 2 years old or if it is full. there is a fuse, which is burned through and interrupts the current flow to recharge. And who is it, how do I find it out? I also find it a bit strange that over night 3 control lights go on. I already suspected a marten damage but did not detect any damage to the cable. I would be very grateful for help and who it would I hope the most important thing is already mentioned.

Good day to everyone, I am Andreas and come from Eichenzell. I drive a Rav4 XA2! Is a petrol engine with 150 Ps 77000km and Bj 2002. It is a three doorr, in friendly hunting green! Now to my little problem. I want to put my RAV higher! Rich there feathers out? What should I note, brand of feathers etc! I thank you for your constructive suggestions!

Hello RAVler, my XA1 (Bj. 95) gives up the mind so slowly or there are soon expensive repairs to which are simply not counting anymore. Now I have the possibility to come to an XA2 and would like to have your assessment at the price. To the vehicle itself: RAV4 XA2 2.0 VVTI (150 HP) 5-door (=> is not advertised online!!!) – Built 2001 – 140,000 Km – 2nd hand – metallic varnish, leather equipment, heater, AHK, climate etc. – 8 times matured (235/60 R16 on aluminium) – Check booklet – un case-free – good condition, no rust – private seller What would be an acceptable price for the vehicle? Yesterday I was able to drive a Rav4 Hybrid Executive with full equipment for an hour. Now you can’t feel a car completely on the tooth in an hour, but I wanted to get an impression of the consumption with speedy driving. I am from Berlin heading north on the A111 and back again. Unfortunately only about 25 km, more time was not. Remarkable was: 15-20 liters current consumption at constant speedo 160-170 km/h. So I wonder if the Rav4 Hybrid is not completely untaug I am driving mostly in urban traffic, but especially buyers with a mixed driving profile should think very well about whether they prefer to buy a diesel. My 9-year-old BMW 320d with 6-speed automatic needs about 7.5-8 liters at the same speed. I also have an explanation for the high consumption: On the one hand, of course, the much larger frontal area compared to Auris and Prius, on the other hand, The 3 electric motors, which are constantly connected to the powertrain, will produce electrical power loss, which is the higher the speed is. Anyway, I was disappointed after the test drive and will now spontaneously not increase the Rav4 hybrid.

Hello dear forumists times a question about the RAV4 and rodents. Recently again a look under the bonnet and seen the following. Otherwise there are no battle tracks to see. Interesting is, that exactly the same damage had one of the demonstrators, which I drove to the rehearsal at the time. Otherwise I did not see any bite marks. Does anyone else bite at this hose sheathing? What kind of hose is that? And why is it isolated? Is it even biting?
