Hello dear Toyo pros, my beloved RAV4 let me down last Friday out of the blue in the middle of the highway. Gaps, speed shoots up, movement equal to zero…. ADAC brings my car and me to the workshop, ADAC man and workshop, same-sounding clutch! I was still asked if it would have been difficult to switch or jerk, or if the clutch would otherwise have been noticeable. NIX of the same! Always good RAV have been 🙂 However since a Woc when I’m idle, it’s kind of louder and even more grumpy! (If I’m biting the gas in a stand, the hum is gone!) I thought the newly used soot particle filter would be to blame! Woman stop 😉 New clutch pure, info ZMS would be ok (was tested somehow, based on 6 teeth?). I’m still happy, won’t be so expensive! Now the disillusionment, everything is assembled. Engine runs, movement equal to zero… Info Workshop and Toyo: 90% ZMS defective, *heul* can be feathers be defective and therefore nothing would have been noticed during the “dental test”. (say two Toyo dealers, “they didn’t have a case like this yet” (Thank you!) Well my question, can there be something else to blame for it? Since the nice spare part already has a decent price, I would hate to pay 800 euros for the ZMS and then it could be something else. Do you have any idea what to look at for security? The car is now being dismantled for the second time! 🙁 don’t know o bs is important, 6 weeks ago also the SHV and the fuel filter were replaced, because I already had an error code and the RAV did not draw any more!

RAV4 Purchase advice / Recommendation XA5 / XA4
Hello, I am looking for a “new” car, the RAV4 fits my requirements quite well. This would be in my narrow selection :https://www.team-foerster.de/…/…-hybrid-club-led-technik-p-_173765 I like the XA5 slightly better than the XA4, generally Toyotas are also considered very reliable. However, I have occasionally read during my research in US forums that the models of 2016-2018 are more recommended than 2019-.. since the first XA5 are probably less reliable. Do you want to honor Robin here ?

[Purchasing advice] RAV 4 Full hybrid vs CX-5 Mild hybrid?
Hello together, (I hope I’m right here…) I’m currently looking for a successor for my somewhat outdated KIA Sorento. Great car, but the new Sorentos don’t really tell me… I’ve limited my selection to… – Mazda CX-5 (Benzin / Mild-Hybrid petrol) – Toyota RAV 4 (as full hybrid gasoline – no plugin…) Important to me… – Longevity – little maintenance effort – reliability – good acceleration in the middle(!) B A lot of prices here, the purchase is more or less in the same range for models starting from 2022. With the insurance the RAV 4 is of course a little higher… But apart from that, only the quality of the cars evaluated, how would you decide – and why ? Greetings, Draconicus

Experience with the Toyota BZ4x
Is there any experience with the BZ4x in practice? Where do I load the car? How long does it take? Which charging card(s)/providers do you use when you load externally? How much does the kw/h cost when loading externally? Have you still migrated here in the forum or to other e-car forums?

Soon there will be another C-HR than BEV…
Herehttps://www.auto-motor-und-sport.de/…/?… first information and pictures about the coming all-electric second C-HR. I’m surprised that not even a new name for another vehicle was chosen… but unfortunately no BEV for normal earners …

Hilux generally problem-free?
Hi, the Hilux is not in the headline of this forum, but I think it fits best here. About the Hilux (and Land Cruiser) you can find virtually nothing in the net and here. Are you afraid of the small distribution or are these cars just almost problem-free? The only drawback is the lack of rust prevention in the Hilux, as I have seen on several older cars. Would like to buy a Hilux. That’s why I ask you about your experiences and purchase recommendations. Thanks in advance.

The Infinite Story of the Toyota C-HR
I just have to let off steam at this point! 12 years I was satisfied Toyota customer, who was always satisfied with the Corolla as well as the Auris. The drama in 5 files then started last year with the new Toyota C-HR. First the car was registered by my car dealership, although the vehicle was physically not standing in the yard and no one could tell me exactly where the vehicle was located. That was annoying, but it gets even better. I now have a much more serious problem: since mid-April, the C-HR has now switched to emergency operation four times in full drive on the motorway, so that you can only try to get to safety at a reduced speed. Visit 1 in the car dealership: misignition on the third cylinder – we exchange an ignition coil visit 2 in the car dealership for safety reasons (3 months late). r): Misignition on the third cylinder – 1 week troubleshooting – Exchange of a supposedly defective vacuum box I may pick up the car, go and think: it is by no means repaired, it will stop again soon. Incident 3 (two weeks after the allegedly defective vacuum box has been changed): in the morning in professional traffic, the C-HR switches back to emergency operation. The car house picks up the car on the motorway parking lot and gives me a replacement car, which I will take the same evening This is now 14 days ago and Toyota Germany is silent about this problem. What I know is that the car is now in the Toyota test center. I find it an extremely bad information policy of Toyota, customer friendliness equal to zero and much worse I find it that the Toyota Autohaus has allowed me to continue driving with a trafficless car. How are your experiences with the C-HR and Toyota Germany?

Five-month experience report
Hello friends, I think it’s time for an experience report of the RAV 4 of the 5th generation. I would like to praise the design of the vehicle, which I personally like very well. The electronic driving resistance systems work so well for my taste of course. The consumption at the moment has levelled at acceptable 5.8 liters with a range of 800km in the city. A very good value. The planetary transmission switches very well, the car is very lively to drive and the Seats are also very comfortable. Processing in general is not as good as expected, which is not so bad. Even worse is the noise in the interior at higher speeds. This is already very loud and annoying in the long run. Wind noise and the roaring engine are unpleasant on longer rides. How do you feel about these sounds? Have you already done something about it? I will drive the days to the Toyota dealer and ask if it is possible the vehicle at To yota and whether Toyota offers that at all. Sincerely Kadir

RAV4 Adventure Hybrid – Impressions Test drive and questions
Hello together, due to various changes in the driving behavior of the family and me, we want to change from two cars to one. The Rav4 would cover all our needs: well in the city and on land, can move our caravan, is great for the Black Forest winter etc). Now yesterday I had the opportunity to drive the og. model sample. Purely optically a, from my point of view, successful car (also woman and children liked it). Our two current cars are an old T5 VW Bus and a Ford Focus Vignale (2 years old). Driving in the city and on the country road is a dream with the hybrid drive. Quieter and more economical is probably not possible in terms of weight plus e4x4. That’s really succeeded. On the highway, of course, until 120kmh everything is good, then it becomes louder due to construction, mainly due to the wind noise. What I noticed in comparison to the assistance systems of Ford: distance tempomat is good, but without shield detection or no e Implementation of the detected speed limit. I thought there was a tracking assistant? If yes, this is too subtly set or I did not manage to activate it (which I don’t believe). Android car didn’t work reliably (either with Xiaomi or with the Google Pixel). I feel a bit backward for an FL model on screen and implementation of the UI. The 19 inch rims make the car a bit tough? Here I would be interested in the difference to 17 or 18 inch. l see, I’m not quite convinced yet (laughing at a very high level). Of course, the hybrid technology is really very good. Can you understand these points? I’m happy about feedback/exchange.

Motor problems without end with CHR
Hello community, maybe someone knows that or you can give me some advice. At the end of 2017 we bought CHR gasoline, annual car, i.e. BJ 2016. 2018 started mistakes, often the car went into emergency run, switched ignition coils, but everything did nothing. Vehicle has gone into emergency run again and again, especially the problems occurred in spring and summer, not in winter. Time and again error memory read out, then again time and again ok. Error memory, but the cause was not fixed. always only tried out, spark plugs exchanged, ignition coils… Recently again emergency run, this time numerous error messages PCS malfunction, malfunction AWD, LDA malfunction and EPB malfunction. Workshop also doesn’t know what to do. Toyota thinks that the engine is dirty and wants to clean. 20% takes over toyota, the workshop at least 30% but we still have to pay about 1,000€ for more than uncertain output. W as would you do? Repair attempt? Will ask the dealer if he will take it back after almost 3 years, but don’t think about it greeting, Alex
