Toyota Hybrid – Battery Problems
Hello, I have been the owner of a CH-R, BJ. 2020 for about four weeks, about 30,000 km on it, with the 2.0l/184hp drive. Today I was on the road, I parked the car for about 2 hours in a parking lot, and when I came back it was dead. Wants to say: Doors could not be opened (only with the mechanical key) and the car could not be started anymore. Not even the warning indicator worked. I then called the breakdown service. The guy on the phone meant scho n: ” …is definitely the battery!” They gave the car start-up help, and then it ran again. The friendly breakdown helper said: With the hybrids that happens all the time! I am a bit pissed off, especially because I always stood on the point of view: If already Hybrid, then Toyota, because they have the most experience. My image of Toyota has suffered strongly, very much!!! Has someone already experienced similar things?

Land Cruiser (Prado?) 3 doors in Germany
Hello, for some time now the Land cruiser 3 door has really fixed me. Now this car is usually called Prado or LC Prado abroad. What I have not yet found out is whether there are differences in technology and quality / offroad skills between the 3 doorr and the 5 doorr. And whether the Land cruiser offered in Germany is also not a descaled variant with a different name. Can someone enlighten me? The German LC comes from South Africa? Or Thailand? (Natü) The 3 Doors) Thank you and greet

RAV4 Bj 2015 – off-road suitability, tyres, etc.
Hello, I recently own a RAV4 Bj 2015. Very nice vehicle so far, however two things bother me: – the vehicle is with these 18″ tires for my feeling hard springed (come from BMW..) – I would have liked it to be more suitable for terrain (want to go to Lapland etc.) Accordingly I wanted to upgrade the car… – Underrun protection with protection for gearbox, engine, tank, distribution gearbox I could find so far – I would have liked the car with 16 inch tires on steel rim e, but I think it’s only minimum 17 inch steel rim?! – Air suspension with level control I would like to have.. someone do it by chance? Is there any such thing for the RAV4? I would like to raise the vehicle higher if necessary and hope for more comfort. I have not yet fully recognized the meaning of a heater. We would like to sleep in the vehicle, but as far as I have read in, the heater pulls the battery empty when used for longer periods, so does not bring any advantage here. l. Is that true? Sure.. it spares the engine at cold start, but is a Toyota.. he does it ;-). Thanks for your help!

Switching console at RAV 4 IV absoult unilluminated ?
Since I picked up my vehicle yesterday – still before dark – at home I wanted to drive backwards – meanwhile it is dark – the switch lever is completely unlit ? This morning I call in the workshop and tell this – answer for this whole series this is simply so – I have the lounge version – moreover in the display you can see which driving stage is inserted. How can this be solved – installation of an indirect lighting – who has here a good idea ?

RAV4 Hybrid XA4 contra XA5!
I am still not convinced that I should buy the old series 3 years old for max 30t€ or rather put something on it again i.e. in about half and secure the newest row. I would like to have full equipment including the numerous helpers there I will probably land somewhere at 50t€ – for a demonstration car at least 45t€ . Can someone still help me with tips ….. or give me other reasons that speak for one or other variant. It is our second w agen – but he should also be able to move a 1400 kg touring caravan meaningfully, especially in the south … Thanks for your suggestions.

Scandal for RAV-4 tyres: The robbers are back!
My RAV wishes have suffered a harsh damper! I researched as suggested on www.jumy.de and found a scandal there: the Runflat tires. First of all, the most valuable one goes to you on Grundis, if you have a record (I had two last year alone). Then the whole wheel is changed – only possible with Toyota – and the customer raps 700 euros!!!! The broken Pneu is then sent in by the workshop and depending on the type of damage gets d And what’s on weekends, holidays or at night? It’s even worse! The cost of winter tires should, in the best case, be on 2,000 euros. But there are also users in the forum who have received an invoice from their dealer from 2,600 to 2,800 euros. People, the predators are back! If this Parxis is indeed a gang and gesture, the topic RAV 4 has taken care of for me. I can’t go alone.

RAV4 Built 2014 – Tank volume diesel in practice more than 50 litres
Hello, in another thread we had come to the conclusion that the tank volume specified by Toyota is a rather theoretical value and in practice after 45 – 50 liters the yellow tank warning lamp concerns. Since the RAV4 year 2014 according to operating instructions has a manual tank ventilation pump, today I have taken a long way ahead: residual kilometers: 23 km lt. display with driven 730 km. At 7,0 liters of throughput consumption are then still just 2 liters in the tank. Refueled: 49.6 liters Range after full tanking: 730 km. Means: approx. 51 liters available. At fuel monitor I have keyed RAV4 diesel from year 2013 and found 8 vehicles, which have more than 20 times fuelled, a total of 320 refuellings. Most of the tanks have between 35 and 45 liters. Of the 8 vehicles the maximum tank quantity was approx. 45 liters, 3 vehicles approx. 50 liters. No one has fuelled more than 51 liters. The claim that the tank actually in practice In my opinion, vehicles that have once filled 55 or 57 litres would have to show up. However, this is not to be seen in the further corridor. Greetings

Which car radio should I use with Navi?
Hello all! In my RAV4 from 2007 the DVD drive of the radio (B9004) has said goodbye. The Navi DVD is no longer recognized and the thing clacks. I also bought a new DVD, same problem. According to Google it is known that the DVD unit is broken here after at least 11 years. Otherwise the part works – but it also constantly shows that the DVD is not recognized. If one taps on the radio, so after a few minutes is again this error message in the display, and all you can also buy a suitable DVD-unit for around 100 euros from China and install it with grope, but I don’t want to. Now I’m looking for a new radio with Navi, where you can connect the return camera properly. I bought this one from Amazon once: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B01MG3DWGD (2 reviews, 4 stars), but I would give the thing only 2 stars – so it goes back now. Well, guys, what do you take best If you don’t want to spend so much money here? Or can someone fix the part?
