  • Delivery time RAV4?

Hi! Maybe we can collect here when which model was ordered and what your dealer said about the delivery time. Different delivery times would of course also be interesting – does your car come sooner, or later…? Our dealer first said, before the binding order, that it could still work at the end of June, when ordering 2 days later he said then carefully at the end of July. We didn’t care, one can not influence anyway. Nevertheless, the waiting time is of course imme r interesting if a new car is ordered… We have ordered a Club 4×4 Hybrid with AHK and Navi.

  • Toyota Highlander Hybrid – current model – All-wheel drive?

Moin, in a YouTube video it was explained that the Highlander all-wheel is only a pure start-up all-wheel, which is completely disabled at about 30 – 40 km/h and is no longer available from this speed. Currently I drive a 2016 Toyota RAV4 hybrid all-wheel and am more than satisfied with the all-wheel system. Concerns I had because I came from a 2014 Toyota RAV4 diesel “real-4×4” scattered. On the contrary, the RAV4 hybrid all-wheel go t in the terrain better than the RAV4 Diesel 4×4, as the electric motor in conjunction with the CVT transmission moves nicely slowly, but determined, in steep passages. Is the Highlander-Hybrid-Allrad much differently designed than the RAV4-Hybrid-Allrad? Can I not imagine. Greeting

  • RAV II without spare wheel

I don’t want to trigger a raver-shitstorm now – it’s only about theoretical considerations : Has someone removed the spare wheel including suspension/covering, or has a corresponding photo/link??? Since our new old RAV (A2, 2002) is mainly driven by my wife and it is a kind of hobby of her to damage other cars while driving backwards (I hope she doesn’t read this here), we have come up with the idea, the anyway quite limited backward clarity by Verzic Is to increase on the spare wheel… However, is wondering whether this can be done at all and what it looks like (he still stands at the screwdriver and waits for new springs so that I can not just try it out). LG – Cat P.S.: have already got a rear camera retrofit set in the form of a wide-angle foil. But also here the spare wheel of course disturbs quite considerably.

  • Oil change interval XA4

Hello together, in a few KM I have the 15Tkm down with my XA4. With the XA3 the oil was changed also with the fitness check. In some brochure I had read however, that the new one only needs all 30Tkm new oil. But now my main workshop said: “We do the oil change with, is better so”. Of course it is better for the car dealership, just because of the margin. Now I wanted to look into the service booklet what was done with the inspection and the fitness check. I will find the note (meaning): Fitness check: In the case of engines with alternating interval display, the change is made according to the display or after 30Tkm at the latest. The big question is now: Where do I get out if I have an engine that falls into this category? I have the 2.2 diesel automatic. Thank you very much!

  • Purchase advice RAV4 2nd generation

I’m looking for a vehicle for my mother. After she came first on Berlingo and Co with the specification “door at the trunk” and as far as possible sliding door at the back I “corrected” her towards Yaris Verso and she can now inspire by a RAV4 which is now traded as “favorite”. I tend to be 1.8 for cost reasons, or is the “fear” of the costs (multiple consumption fuel and maintenance costs all-wheel) unfounded for the 2l? Is there special P are there any vulnerabilities that are not normally found on the Internet (there are none)?

  • Rav 4 177 hp diesel soot problems in turbocharger and cat

My Rav 4 / 177 hp / 4 years old / 31000 km has VSC/ engine problem / 5. Injection nozzle has been renewed and announced that the expensive repairs will only come, as I only drive short distances and p.a. 8.ooo km. Another workshop recommended me to push out the expected expensive repairs ( Turbocharger etc.) by driving 100 km at a time each month (of which 50 km to warm up and 5 km with 5000 rpm in high gear for free burning in the loader. Does anyone have any experience? White jem and reasonable alternatives?

  • ELEKTRONIKPROBLEM: blower, ABS lamp, manual brake control

Hello, we’ve been having the following problem for a few days: blower doesn’t work, ABS control lights up, therefore ABS doesn’t work, hand brake control lights up. Not always, but often. Just come up together. When the control lights are off, ABS and blowers go. Also noticed: when giving gas blowers went on, when taking gas away or braking blowers went off. Hangs with gear or movement together, because in the empty run (gap/take off) it doesn’t spark. in the latter fa ll the control lights remained on. Although it does not have anything to do with it, the brake lining HL outside is held only by a pin, the second is stuck next to it in the empty, the layer sits crooked on the disc, but does not block. Must have been like this since purchase (used) in 2006. Would be grateful for ideas.
