Hello, after now 6 years and 60T KM the inner blocks of the rear axle show that it is slowly time to renew them. Had the brake cleaned years ago, because as is well known the rear, as with other FZG too fast gammeln. The originals from factory lasted only 5 years, then one side the support picture was bad. No matter. I would like to know, the rear wheel brake should have, like similar to Mercedes, brake cheeks for the parking brake. Thus a turn back would d If you don’t drive 1000KM with the towed parking brake. Currently there were TÜV without defects and also without any indication of the lining strength. Brake values are also top. Only I don’t like the one from the suspension brake. 150 to 220 is actually too much different to me. Operating brake of the rear axle is 200 to 190. Who can maybe send me a part drawing. And can you also for the rear buy rachse in the accessories? At the front I installed ATE and the disc was still far from the minimum. I didn’t want a new disc yet. SCheibe in the back is also ok.

Prius II and rust
Hello all, I looked at a P II from 2007 yesterday in Salzgitter-Bad. From above not so bad, but then I followed an inner inspiration during the test drive and had the car lift in a workshop. From below: the rusty horror!!! Unfortunately I did not take any photos, so perplexed I was. Until April I had one from 2008, which had zero rust. And I thought this was the normal case. With this on the other hand I fell already during the lifting process R In the rear wheel houses, as far as not covered by the felt inserts, large-scale rusting of the paint. The whole underbody was thickly glued with bitumen. Below all edges several centimetres wide rusting, where the rest of the paint, together with the mud, could be decoiled with the fingernail. The aggregate carrier at the front was even rusted, between the two storage points de I thought they were galvanized. And the rest of them were made of aluminium. The car was also in a memorable condition: new HU without defects, but the windscreen wipers hung in shreds, parking brake with 50 percent difference, aluminium wheels with 205er (China) tyres without ABE, pushbutton for boot defective, water pump leaks, cooler almost empty and balance tank completely dry. But engine oil far above Maximu. And smells like gas. You could have fixed everything about the price. But so much rust? No, thank you. Greetings! Hinnerk

Prius II Help with the purchase
Moin together, I plan to buy a Prius II, I don’t know about it so far. So far I drive a 1998 Omega automatic with almost 130,000 km, which a friend of mine would take away. I am a pensioner and our “requirement profile” to the car has changed greatly: I am mainly on the road in urban traffic. The Omega takes itself, especially when it is cold and only short distances lie on, loosely 15 liters. I don’t need that, I can use the fuel charcoal otherwise. Now I would like to know if you can get a proper Prius II for about 4,000,– to 5,000,– € and what I have to pay special attention to during the visit and test drive. Are there special rust spots on these cars, how long-term are the hybrid batteries etc. or are there known weak points? Thank you already in advance!

Used Prius or a Volvo (or something else) than a family car
So I’m looking for a new car, but I’m not so in the subject. Currently we drive an old Fiat Punto (consumption just over 5 L on 100 km) which is four but sometimes too small and soon 20 years old. So I’m primarily looking for a practical car that costs almost nothing, especially in the maintenance, and also doesn’t make any dirt. That’s why I came up with a used Prius in the selection. That seems to work really solid. And after a pure elek Ion, Sono Sion, E-Go Live) seems to be the best choice. For me, electric is not yet feasible, since the charging infrastructure in D is missing. But: Modern Prius engine back or forth: a Volvo V60 is available at a similar used market price as a Prius+. In addition, the consumption is lower and the comfort is higher. Of course, the lower car tax speaks for the Prius, but is it more expensive in terms of consumption than a Volvo, depending on the model? It’s easy for someone to give me the decisive hint. So I’m mainly interested in a robust, cheap car (I don’t want to have one at all and would like to ride by train and bike), but a Volvo is also very nice and well done. What can a Prius do better?

Honda VS. Toyota Hybrid
Hello This is not supposed to be a real VS. Threat, but wanted to ask what is the difference between the two concepts. Honda has also been offering the IMA Civic for a few years. Is this also a hybrid like the Prius? There should be another IMA version of the new Accord and new Civic. I hope someone can explain that to me.

Question about Prius
Hello everyone. I have to buy a Prius in front of me, because I like the technology very much and the fuel consumption is also optimal. However, I wanted to ask you again for a little information, whether the car is really worth it for me. I drive every day 25km to work and of course also back again (all road). With my current golf I consume according to the indicator in the BC so between 5.5 and now with the cold up to approx. 6.3 liters on 100km. With a tank filling come i This means that I drive a maximum of 850km. I also drive a lot of city traffic (shopping). Highways only on holiday, or sometimes to Munich, so very rarely. In the year I drive about 15000km. For this gulf I would, according to calculation on the Internet, get about 7000 to 8000 euros. Tax I pay Euro4 94Euro (since Aug.2005) and insurance 54,31Euro monthly (HP45%/VK65 %). Does anyone have a calculation example that would fit approximately to mine? Wouldn’t be bad to compare. A chja, I’d like to get the Prius Executive, that’s 25400 euros.

Hybrid-taxes prove themselves in everyday operation
The Netzzeitung writes: Hybrid vehicles can hardly play out their advantages on highways and highways. But in city operations their big hour beats. Just the right thing for use in a taxi. The automobile taxi life is hard. Many of the white-beige colored carriages are in use per day more than twelve hours. The short-distance operation makes the everyday business monotonous. Start, brake, wait, drive, brake, door open, door close and continue to the next taxi stand. Just h ier can score a hybrid model like the Toyota Prius powerfully…. The complete article can be found here:http://www.netzeitung.de/autoundtechnik/369994.html How boring – 200,000KM and nothing is going on! No breakdowns etc….

Test drive Toyota Prius
On the bottom line I liked the car. I like the interior optically, the driving noise is low. But there are a few criticisms: 1) the processing is not so good, but still good. 2) the steering is really bad, very low in feeling. It is almost impossible to drive straight on the highway at 130km/h. 3) The consumption of my test lap was 6,3l/100km, and was thus 1 liter higher than with my Polo with 75hp, but without delivering significantly better driving performance My conclusion: a completely new, pleasant driving feeling, but an engine with limp power and the consumption of a Golf V 2.0 TDI or a … BMW 330d which is driven reasonably! In the traffic jam, however, the Prius is very pleasant to drive. My test round consisted of little city traffic and 20min highway ride with cruise cruise 130 and traffic jam. Very nice: screen with touch screen! Should there be more often!
