Hello. I had done a test drive with the Yaris. The car that was offered to me was the 1.0 with almost 70 hp. But test driving could only be the model 1.33 with approx. 100 hp. I liked the Yaris of the driving behavior, but how big is the difference between the test vehicle (1.33) and the other (1.0)? Had also a test drive with the jazz with the Hond, where only the larger engine was available. (approx.100 hp ) But I didn’t like the test drive at all. I felt like I was in a lame duck. The look to the back was confusing, the steering wheel and the seat “uncomfortable” and he just didn’t “come into the corridors” – the start was ok, but on the country road he “draged” not. I was not 100% convinced, therefore he probably falls out of the narrow selection. Therefore I am also interested, whether one generally prefers to take the Yaris than 1.33 (is more expensive, but not that one gets angry afterwards) or whether the 1.0 is quite suitable is (many city trips, also country roads, little highway).

Hey people, I read this now very often also ordered myself a Yaris end of February, but one thing I don’t understand about the death.. why to the vulture does the Yaris have no daytime driving lights?! I thought this would be mandatory… now I look at the new Aygo.. even the one has daytime driving lights or LEDs.. I don’t understand this policy at all I mean clearly I can buy them for myself at Toyota but I mean… is it just me or am I the only one who doesn’t get it?

Yaris II XP9(F) Original aluminium wheels?!
Hello to all Yaris kennerr =) I have a question: I plan to buy original alloy wheels from Toyota. However, I don’t get any further. I recently bought new Dunlop tyres in size 185/60 R15. Now I got an offer original Toyota alloy wheels for 120€. Have a size of 5.5J x 15 ET45, but there are already tires in size 185/55/ R15 on it. Now my question is whether the Dunlop tyres I bought on the 5.5J original Toyota alloy wheels mi t ET45 fit on it? I’m just surprised that at the moment 185/55 instead of 185/60 as indicated in the car bill are on it. Do I need wheel nuts or wheel screws? I would be very grateful for any help. Happy Easter to all of you still =) LG P.S: Unfortunately I don’t have a COC bill (where it should be). The friendly dealer requires 83€ =(

New Toyota Yaris Diesel 1.4 D – Warranty
Hello, I’m registered as a Corsa driver, but since Saturday almost in possession of an annual car Toyota Yaris Diesel with 90 hp.. it was a spontanauf. More and more often I hear now that this should have been a good decision… I hope it very much!! I would honestly rather go to my free workshop for the inspections than to Toyota customer service, because I think I just drive there cheaper. But now I don’t know because of the warranty — counts the stamp of the free Workshop just as much as that of the contract workshop in the checkbook or is it better to go during the warranty to the customer service and accept the apparently higher prices? I am very spoiled in price and i.d. rule also very satisfied with my free workshop man. 2. Question: Does anyone know the real consumption? Statistically the should be under 4 l, I drive according to inside times currently on 5 liters .. on Wednesday I will refuel and measure the consumption then. and on I don’t think it’s okay to lie about consumption.. do I actually have a real handle? My car man, who always advised me well, said that I have a right to change within 7 days of signing the purchase contract.. I’m still unsure if the spontaneous decision was right.. but the pranks on my Opel had piled up very much and was, so to speak, a permanent guest in the workshop in the last quarter of the year. .. Thank you and love greeting

every year defective battery
My Yaris will be three years old in July of this year and already has the third new battery inside. Every year when the first really cold nights start, the supposedly brand new battery will give up its mind. What can that be? Besides a marten scare, I have nothing unusual inside. So far, I have always received the new battery as a warranty but if the warranty expires in July, I may be allowed to buy a new one every year. The car dealer finds it not unusual that the batteries are defective after one year, but with my car before (punto) I drove ten years with a battery. It seems to me that this is very strange……….:-( Can I insist that before the end of the warranty the batteries are clarified for which reason the batteries are constantly disconnected? The one?

Yaris Hybrid 2013, questions despite user manual ;0)
Hi together, have a hybrid for 2 days and ask me, which are nowhere (I know) written down. So for example: • can I dim the instrument lighting? • is there no music reduction in navigation announcements? • is there no audio reduction in active parking help? • does Touch&Go not show any covers and contact images? (Bluetooth) • is there comfort light that concerns opening or closing? these are questions I haven’t found in the operator’s book either! Already mentioned in forums and what I find a pity are: • unlit keys (door lock, steering wheel etc) • dimming and driving light weak • parking aid at the front Unfortunately does not switch off after time in case of car standstill. Piept continuously on. • USB connection in impossible place and missing in center console! Does anyone possibly have one or other answer?

Headlights are blind – no TÜV
Hello together, I have a Yaris 1,3 VVT with 64KW. Key numbers are the following: 5048/074 (Yaris I, 5-door). First registration: March 2004 Unfortunately I did not come over the TÜV today. The headlights were contested. Mr. TÜV said these were “typically” blind or something. Yes, ok, they are a little “scratched”, but light give them still excellent. But well. Now the TÜV was for the cat. Now you have to help me because I really have no idea. It’s mine he As new lights are out of the question (according to ATU 430 Euronen), I would like to find another option. I have already found them here:http://www.pkwteile.de/johns/2083357 But can you install something like this without hesitation? Do they then go via the TÜV and are they what? I also need such a actuator. Whether this is already in it? I have already read that one can polish something away. But with some it did not work or only a little and the “blind” is also Does anyone have experience with it? Or can I recommend lights? I have to show the new lamps again in 4 weeks… oh God. Thank you in advance, Anna.

Yaris purchase advice
Hello together, After 10 dear years I must slowly but surely separate from my 1er bmw. He now has the 18 on the hump and the problems unfortunately become bigger and bigger… Valvetronic, engine ventilation, rust,….. So far I have actually read a lot good about Toyota and the Yaris. But the more I am through the forum (and the 12V starter battery problems do not seem to exist only in this forum) the more uncertain I am. We need a car that we need from time to time. Wah Probably so 2-4 times a week, rather short distance. A longer distance can be sometimes, but not weekly. We wanted an annual car, or a day registration. We would get that, but the more I read in about the yaris, the more I get away from it? I want a car that drives and starts when I need it. Are the problems really that bad, or do I imagine that? The firmware update and a larger one (e.g. a 12v 55ah battery), would the hi If I don’t drive for 5 days and have to go to the garage with a stomach ache, I find that a bit stupid. Or you fly 2-3 weeks on holiday. The first plot is then the amac? Puh. Somehow not a good start. I really thought Toyota is a great brand. Apparently they have improved the yaris in the last years but not only… I don’t want to have to handle the car every time I need the car with a mobile starter pack. e alternative and he doesn’t have the problems? Even seems to have a little more ps and to be a ticking cheaper. I’m honest. I don’t know about cars so well, I just want a car that is cheap in the maintenance, stable, reliable, with automatic. Do you have a tip what makes more sense here?

Toyota Yaris 2011 engine starts braking on increases
Good evening, today after 1h driving on the highway I drove down from this and at a traffic light which was on a hill (so you have to drive down a hill) stopped. After I slowed down, the engine went out and the following control lights went on: battery, oil indicator, engine control light and another yellow light on the top right. After I started the car again everything went off perfectly – engine also n The same thing just happened at a traffic light that was at the bottom of the mountain. The battery is new and the alternator was changed 3 years ago. Can one of you help me? I’m very desperate because the car doesn’t cause any problems – just on the slope. Thank you for your help!
