The fact that the new Yaris comes to me sooner or later is almost certain. I’m just not at all aware whether I should take the 1.3 VVT-i or the D-4D. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the opportunity to try both of them yet. Is the diesel really so much louder and more restless? Is it true that you have to turn the 1.3er unpleasantly high in order to make progress halfway fast? How much do both engines really use in practice? I will use the Yaris almost mainly a about 80 km/day, something in the city, but almost never on the motorway. Who already has practical experience? (Please do not have any theoretical contributions about the basic characteristics of petrol and diesel engines)

Hi. The Aygo is based on the same platform as the 107 and the C1. As far as I know, the cars differ only in the car body and in the interior. It is built in the Czech Republic. (But I’m not quite sure.) Which of the 3 manufacturers provides the technology? Engine? Gearbox?…. Is this still a real, reliable Japanese? Or much more a Frenchman? Is only assembled or produced parts in Czechia?

Hello, at my Toyota Yaris from 2008 the brakes and the saddle are probably completely through. We have now received the following offer from a free workshop: Both sides are made at the front – replacement of caliper & caliper holders – replacement of brake discs & brake pads The price amounts to 1000€, sounds a bit expensive for me or is this a normal price? Edit: If it is relevant, he still said that the saddle is fixed on one side .

Meal, we want to buy a used Yaris XP13 (BJ ca. 2014-2019) with 1.3 VVTi. I looked at some vehicles and had to notice a lot of rust in most cases – at the drum brakes at the rear (partly completely rusted), but also very often in the engine compartment. See pictures in the appendix. There was only one exception where it looked “like new” in the engine compartment, although BJ 2016 and almost 60,000 km on it. What can it be about? Hello municipality, have bought a Yaris hybrid, bach 7months is the 12v battery empty. Used breakdown aid, starts again. After 4weeks there same game. Toyota says I drive too little (3000km in 7months). Who has experience with this problem?

Hello all, our Toyota Yaris Hybrid XP21 will be 1 year old in a few weeks and the first inspection will be due. I noticed that there is no special thread regarding the inspection costs for the Yaris Hybrid yet. Since it is our first Toyota, we have no experience of how high the inspection costs are. I had a first estimate made by a Toyota dealer here in Saarland. It is at 296,12 €. Seems to me relatively much. n Estimate also attached times (personal data are erased). Would be nice if some people would report here and write in, which is paid for the individual inspections. LG Richy

My Aygo from 2007 makes typical wheel bearings noises, however, one checks these on the stage while driving one hears this noise not from the wheel sprocket but rather from gearing direction through gear bearing frying?

Hello , I have like others , now already for the 3rd time start problems because of too low voltage of the 12V starter battery at the Toyota Yasiss Cross . Yes , I drive in Munich and surroundings mostly short distances and the max. 2-3 times per week . 2years I had no problems . The “workshop” – longer distances drive and battery every 4 weeks properly recharge (have no electric connection in the underground garage ) is cynical and little helpful ! I have to my problem in the forum following notes found: Replace battery with AGM battery ( warranty case ??) or download new update – who knows more about it -how can I get this to the workshop? As well as replacing the 12V charging module, so it is said that there is a callback at Toyota. Who can help? I am grateful for any help – otherwise the Yaris Cross is a great city car !!

Good evening, I drove today a Toyota Aygo City 1.0 with first registration 05/2009 test. the car has 70,000 km away and is first hand. before the purchase HU and AU would be renewed. the dealer wants for the car 4000-4500, depending on how far I can still act. when driving a test I noticed nothing extraordinary, and externally the car makes a good impression except for the one or other small paint damage. so again summarized: – el. window lifter – ABS – servo steering – central locking – el. immobilizer – 1st hand -> dealer warranty 1 year – HU and AU are renewed before purchase – 2009 first registration – 70.000 km away is that a good price? or rather finger off? driving it is really good and also pleasant. many greetings
