Hello dear Toyota municipality! Do you think Chiptuning makes sense with the Yaris II D4D? I have the following offer from bhp motorsport (Weilheim near Stuttgart): Series: 90 hp, 190 Nm, 175 Vmax, 0-100 = 10.7 sec Chipgetunt: 111 hp, 222 Nm, 180 Vmax, 0-100 = ? Costs (incl. VAT): Chiptuning (Knnfeldoptimierung durch Auslöten, da über OBD probably nicht möglich) = 489 EUR, TÜV-Guarantee = 199 EUR Warranty (over tunegarant) for 2 years or max. 100.000 km Total running power = 250 EUR === ====938 EUR total. First registration 3.11.06, annual driving performance approx. 40,000 km, of which approx. 90-95% motorway. Current mileage = 11,000 km. What experiences do you have with Chiptuning? In the event of damage, I can actually rely on the replacement insurance (here: tunegarant)? AND: The car is financed and I have to/should/should return it after the contract period (= 4 years = approx. 160,000 km) at the latest. So, what do you think: prefer the fingers davo I’m very grateful for your suggestions and advice. Tschau Chris

Piped exterior mirrors
Hello, do you have that too? A loud whistle, triggered by the left outside mirror. Start with me at approx. 120km/h and then become continuously louder. If you close the mirror or change the wind current with your hand, then the noise is gone. Can you do something against it? Thank you!

Toyota Yaris bought last year in March – New car question for inspection/guarantee+gas pedal
Hello, I bought an EU vehicle Yaris 1.3 in March 2009 and wanted to ask about the warranty+inspection. 1)When do I have to register with a Toyota dealer for the inspection before? 2)Did all have a unit price or can they sell me the inspection expensive, because they think for example “yes, now this type with a EU vehicle comes, did not buy it from us, but we should now do inspection – we make it expensive…” 3)How many days can I be over the time, So over the year, so my warranty still remains ?? 4) Should I call several Toyota dealers and ask about the price ? 5)Do I have to worry about the accelerator pedal ? What do you need from my vehicle license to see if my car is affected ? (don’t know me well with cars) Thank you for the information !

Get Yaris new car in…
Hello, short question: I expect to get my new Yaris on Friday. On weekends I have a little trip to the Baltic Sea. Are about 700km, 4 people and a bit of luggage. it is clear that you should not drive a new car up at the beginning, no faster than 130 etc. See besides that a problem, if I do the ride as planned with the Yaris? The car is then almost full loaded and really long on the road. Is that perhaps even good, because the Wa would I be happy about your opinions. Greetings

So I listen (exceptionally) 🙂 to my wife, because the “little” would be a wonderful city vehicle, economical and agile. what do you think, dear Yaris drivers to it? Are you happy with your “wag” well, he is not sooo small either, easy small but oho, not true ;-)) I look forward to answer(s) Gruss, John

Yaris Diesel particulate filter self-cleaning interval
Hello, have a 2009 diesel and drive 85% motorway. At approx. 250km he has first glowed through the filter. I already feared the worst because the consumption was 100% higher. Recently at 15000km it was time again (and certainly also sometimes in between). I am on the highway and the consumption rises from approx. 4l at 120km/h to 7-8l and the over determined 50km distance. Today early, 700km later already again. Duration again about 50km. In between the box had 10 hours s even in the thrust phase, where the consumption indicator usually goes to 0.0l, it remains on 1.1 l. Cut in the bucket. Does anyone know how often this cycle is used? I mean, I’m practically always on the track. Is this somehow measured or how is it controlled? That costs a fortune 😉 Greeting Martin

Chassis 1.33 vvt-i
Hi, I have planned that my Yaris will get a new chassis this spring. Not that the old one is broken (the car is not yet half a year old), but I would like the 17″ aluminiums to look good. Has someone ever done such a conversion and can recommend me some manufacturers and parts? Should you only change the springs or the dampers? I had planned that it would be about 50mm lower. Between the outer edge of the wheel box and the upper edge of the tyre So it should be loose inside. Looks pretty high-legged. Greetings, Neo

Slices fogged/frozen from the inside despite/for heating?!
Hello together! I have been in the Yaris for a few days now. Now it has been 2-3 times that when the heater heats up the car, then the front window is massively fogged and only after several minutes, when everything is really warm, gets free again. The heater is installed in the trunk and thus heats up from the rear to the front. Does anyone know this phenomenon and how to turn it off or should it be normal?! the heated air on the big, kaöten windshield knocks down? If so, why was my windshield already frozen from the inside, why does the humidity not go out of the car overnight or where does it come in? Please tell questions about questions, if jmd has had similar experiences with or without heating.

Starlet P8 Reperatures Timing Belts + Cylinder Head ?? Help!
First of all “Hello!” I read a bit here as a guest and spontaneously signed up, because I have a few problems with my Starlet at the moment… Vll. has someone want to say something about it (write)… I just start.. About a year ago, he started to jerk after refueling with a big power drop whenever he wanted..According to Toyota Workshop it was the spark plugs + ignition cables, these were also renewed for “too expensive”…. ran again better, for a time.. . When the jerking showed up again without the power drop I got a 2nd opinion, this meant it would be completely the cylinder head seal… Didn’t let it be renewed… Well a good year later, I would say, he should be called “eingeruckelt”, he only zicks when turning on (whether hot or cold)…. New battery is also inside (Varta 120€), it can’t be there… possibly still gas setting? Does anyone have an answer to these symptoms? “My” workshop trau I don’t think it’s very expensive anymore because of another incident, so I don’t want to let you just suspect what to do… Puhh.. a lot of writing^^ One thing I’ve written yet. The timing belt should be renewed soon, since someone has already had experiences regarding price? I know many would say, bring it to the junk and get you another car but I love it! ^^ Happy me about Com mission Dear Greetings Kesselady

Yaris 1.0 capital engine damage at 180,000 km
Hello everybody, I have a sad message to report. My Yaris suffered a capital engine damage yesterday on the highway and unfortunately could not be revived. In clear terms: the crankshaft bearings are broken, and according to the mechanic nothing can be saved that moves in the economic context. The Yaris is year 07/1999 and had run 182,000 km, of which I had it 70,000 km. The maintenance was always carried out and even Toyota speaks of bad luck. Toyota assumes that they would hold between 200,000 – 250,000 km, can be less, can be more. To what extent my motorway year 2007, with 50,000 km, of which 95% highway, can bear with blame no one affirms or negates. It also makes little sense to speculate about what the cause was ultimately, since it is not clear and the mileage of the engine does not allow any conclusions. He now stands with a friendly Nissan dealer and gets a new one. s heart. This has offered me to install a replacement engine with 40,000 km. With all that and all that the cost for this is 1,600 €, then the car is ready and ready to drive. I have to drive in front of the car for at least 5 years, because I simply do not know any better for my needs, which financially corresponds to my possibilities or which I am willing to pay. My future driving performance will be about 12,000 km/a. As far as so well. What do you think of the offer? r Decision for the replacement engine, for another car? Is there a better solution from an economic point of view, I found none. sad greeting Jon
