Good evening together. I’d like to buy a Young- / Oldtimer. The Mercedes factory is already clear. I like the shape of the W123 and the sound, the W115/114. Steering wheel shift would be great! Train starter too. I used to drive a small fin of a buddy. That was super-monkey. Now my question: What do you advise me to buy as a vintage car beginner? I say, my budget is about 10,000 euros. The car doesn’t have to be perfect, but reliable and ready to drive. Where do you buy? Best? Rust is a weak spot. I understand that. Is there a purchase advisor who can visit the vehicle with one? That’s it for now. Scrap and cracker-free flight wishes you your rudi, the reindeer.

Engine bearing W123 240D Built 1979 Limo
Hello together! I’ve been looking softly and stupidly for the suitable engine bearings (left/right) for my sweetheart. Various parts for right OR left in HD quality or not found (by MEYLE I found only LINKS in HD….) . Mostly WITHOUT heat protection plates – but I didn’t find them at my either…. should you mount them, even if they are not on them? For longer durability? Can someone come here and tell me where I can do this completely? it Blech find and which ones are really the right ones? Ideally with source so that I can search for myself next time Have already visited various portals and pages and have also the right part numbers as I mean: A 123 241 52 13 right A 123 241 50 13 links But have not received any really secure information… Thanks! Sweetheart number: 12312310124108 Gruss Stefan PS: And if someone still knows why to buy something like this in “HD” I would be even more grateful… Nggag?

W123d automatic towing vehicle
Hello dear forum friends, please hold your hair tight ?? Not that they will still be standing on the mountain?? Dear friends I need your expert assessment/opinion/experience. PLEASE NOT DISCOVER ME… It has always been my dream to own a w123d automatic. Since this vehicle was already a childhood dream and I could now make it possible for myself, but have my concerns that this dream of car would have to endure/pull permanently an appendage of about 1500kg. This car is constantly hailed in the net as a faithful companion and maintenance arm, my thoughts have been awakened about my childhood dream. What is your expert opinion? Would the car suffer too much, and thus give up its mind in a short time when it is used as a permanent tractor? I know it is much too bad for… But it’s just an oldie and cheap in maintenance. Any villagesmith can repair it. Ask for honest opinion. And BITT E NON-DisPARTING love greetings

W123 Hose from brake fluid tank to clutch encoder
I want / have to change the brake fluid hose that runs from the brake fluid tank to the clutch encoder. Does anyone know the exact size of the inner diameter? Why always, you often only find the blue hoses. Does it look a bit stupid in the engine compartment. Do you know a supplier who has black ones? Thanks for your help and a nice Sunday

W123 Water pump which shaft diameter
I need a new water pump for my W123 200D OM615 Built 04/79. When selecting the dealers, I will be shown the appropriate wapu after entering the vehicle data (HSN and TSN). These have different shaft diameters. Which ones are shown with 30mm and others have 36mm. Which size is the right one? Do you have an explanation for this? Thank you and best regards

Start M110 after long service life
Hello together, I bought my C123 280CE automatic as a restoration project, I’m pretty new in the oldtimer game The stand has been around for a good few years and wants to get it to run again. The engine is supposed to be absolutely undemanding and robust, but just want to be safe at the start and do not make any faxes. So can I start it without problems after a few years of service life or should you rather take a few steps? (: Many greetings Noel

Tank magnification
I have a 200D W123 with EZ 1983. Since I want to renew the tank because of rust inside, the question arises here, if I can install one with 80l instead of the existing 65l tank in this context. The 80l tank was probably available from 240er. Does this fit? Who can provide information?

Turn signal lever does not snap
Good morning, with a 207D (T1, Bremer Transporter) from 1979, the combination lever usually does not stop when you flash to the right, to the left is possible without any problems. It seems to be worn out, but I could not open the combination lever yet. Unfortunately, there is no replacement, because I have the old version with integrated lever for the horn, which is not needed anywhere. If someone has a tip to repair the old lever or someone knows where I can get another one. nnt? Greetings and thanks Stefan
