Gasket brake power amplifier W123
Hello everybody! On my 1979 W123 the brake power amplifier is a bit leaky at the front. There is always some oil running down at the connection point where the balance tank is attached to the vacuum chamber (see photo). Is there a seal/O-ring behind the screw connection that you can easily change? VG

W123 280E or four-cylinder, my first classic
Hello dear Mercedes experts, I saved some money together and would like to buy my first classic. I really like the W123 and it reminds me of my youth time. Actually I thought that I want to buy a & cylinder, however these vehicles seem to be really rare, on mobile I found only 2. Can someone help me a little about the engines, years of construction and weak points. Are the 6 cylinders much more popular and therefore so rare and thus also significantly more expensive? Which purchase price must be planned for a good vehicle? Many questions at once, I know:-) Thank you for the help

230ce bj 82 3speed or 4speed automatic
Have a good evening.Get a 230ce recently. It only switches twice in total. So from 1 to 2 and from 2 to 3 to 90km/h it’s still fine but then the engine gets really loud. Can’t imagine it’s normal. From the feeling it would have to switch at least once,or am I wrong?

W123 (BJ/02/79) “Refitting” belts on the rear bench
Hello, the 123er has never disappeared from my wish list and currently the thing boils up again – today I looked at an amazingly well received one here around the corner, a dealer sells the green bullet for a woman over 80 years old who bought the car as an annual car from Mercedes; the car has always been maintained at the dealer and accordingly thick stamped the service booklet. The substance is amazingly good, only 130,000 km and against 4,000 euros you can actually not say anything about the H-approval. A little unsightly, because supposedly very thirsty, is the carburetor engine (230) – which would be to be hurt, because for environmental reasons, I install an LPG system in all cars anyway. This is perhaps the good news for those who are planning to do similar things. My problem is that the car has not been fitted to the backseat, and that it is now difficult for me to say the best thing about the rear seat belt.

Questions about the W123 300TD
Hello, I am interested in a 300TD with manual transmission. Ez.: 1985 I have the following questions: Are there different gears for the year? 4 or 5 gears? What does it consume on average in the city? Is it suitable for short distances? Do the front seats from the W124 fit into the W123? Thank you and love greeting Andre

Air suspension for 250 W114
Hello guys, I have a question. I would like to install an airride in my Mercedes W114. Chassis of HighestLow and air production and air management of Accuair. (Endo CVT tank and e-level) is the current plan If the chassis itself has a part inspection, do I need one for the rest? (in case of doubt individual acceptance) Second question regarding H-marks.. I have already seen some W115/W114 showing oldtimer with airride and H-marks. he has relations with the nice gentlemen of the TÜV. (best of all South-East Germany/Lower Bavaria) Thanks Jonas

W123 Tyre sizes
Hello. I used to have a 123er 230CE. I also had a pair of snow chains for this one. And now my question: Which tyres do these snow chains fit? I can only remember that the winter tyres (on steel rim) were narrower than the summer tyres. Maybe someone has a 230CE here and can tell me which tyres are registered there? mfg Peter.
