  • car in usa buy

hi, I may have to buy a mitshubisi eclipse in the usa, as a new car. since the there with full capacity cost only $22000 without tax. in D cost the approx. 44500 euro.(at autoscout 24). actually just want to know how that goes with the transfer. have read once that if you let the car to holland ship it comes cheaper than to D?? if I let the car to holland ship I have to steal the tax there. then I have to pay tax again if I have to go from hollan d my car to D hole? or don’t you have to do that because it’s EU? are there German or American companies that organize such an overpass or do you have to do everything yourself? how is it with the tüv here because the car has a red flashing light? is that allowed? I think already since I have seen chrysler or dodghe van’s here several times with red flashing light. or do you have to remodel it?? would be happy if you can help me. achja another small question. if ic h let me in the usa then still all the disks sound. speak front-back side windows and spell back. would I then have to renew the two front side windows in D or would it be allowed since the car has been impotent like this???

  • Which engine oil in Chevy SB?

Hello dear US fans, I bought a CHEVY VAN G20, built in 11/89. Engine 5.0 l (Beziner). Now that the engine oil is to be changed after numerous body changes, I would like to know what you are using in these rough engines. Is there a recommendation? I think part- or full-syntetics is certainly not so great for the old engine … Maybe you have a good tip… Thank you very much.

  • Brake force not properly distributed!

Hello, can someone tell me how I can optimally distribute the braking force at my 1966 Chevy impala? My Chevy had tuv yesterday, without problems However, my mechanic told me that the rear brakes pack more strongly than the front ones. History: the Chevy had all around drum brakes. the rear ones were always perfect but the front ones always pulled alternately to the left and right… …so I got a disc brake kit. so the front drum brakes were so for disc brakes with brake booster. did also work wonderfully… but I noticed that when braking the rear ones immediately block and at the front little comes. that’s not good… in the engine room, under the brake booster, the brake lines go into a magnesium part, I believe that is a valve…. is there the possibility to increase the braking performance of the front disc brakes, or to distribute better?? I WHEN NIMMA CONTINUE… I would like to ask for Your help. thanx! Chevy guy

  • Camaro 1st Generation

So here’s a HALLO to all of you. Have been reading with you for some time and have been infected with the virus for a little longer, which probably caught us all here. Actually, there was no clear favorite with me so far (from Chargers and Challenger times, but they are unfortunately hardly affordable) but lately the Camaros of the (please just FIRST) generation are getting out more and more; and therefore also my first question. Did all ́67 ́69s (yes!?) the headlight flaps ,ode There were also models without? For today that was ersma. Thanks schomal!

  • S-10 no papers and no spark

Hello, I hope here is someone who can help me?!?! So I’ll start in the short version from the beginning…..I bought me a S-10 Bj 1994; 4,3l; V6. Pride like Bolle, will to the TÜV and now I lack the data sheet and the exhaust gas certificate! Now I already phoned myself stupidly and apparently a car in Germany (Bj and Motor) has never been sold and would have to have a data sheet created at the TÜV (which would cost me 1500,00 by the way) . Nu my first question: Does any of you have a car soo and can tell me where it was at the TÜV? Or where maybe I could still get such papers? Next I wanted to clamp my tail lights and now I don’t have a spark anymore…does any of you know what might have happened? Does any of the cables hang together with the ignition? I can’t really imagine it but I already have horses before the pharmacy ….. See…. That was the short version I yard you can help me…… LG

  • 4 tires stolen from trunk – pampy reaction of rinkens – what lessons do you draw from it?

I bought a 79 Cadillac in New Hampshire in the fall and let the dealer put 4 tires in the trunk (that’s cheaper; unit price there 80 dollars instead of 125 euros) When the car arrived here last week, there were no tires in the trunk. I then turned to the freight forwarder and asked quite innocently if you could do something. I did not ask for anything, I was hoping for a culant solution. Of course, I did not accuse theft, would it be also stupid, because tens of people could be considered suspects, you don’t even know if the tires in the USA or Dtl. got away. Then the Rinkens employee flaunts me by e-mail as follows (all quotations 1:1 from e-mail are copied): (Write and typing errors in the original) By the way: Of course I can’t conjure that the dealer put the tires in place, but since he did a lot of work on the car exactly as promised, I assume that he didn’t want me here. If he wanted to cheat me***, he would have had many other and more lucrative opportunities to do so. Of course, the freight forwarder in the USA might have stolen the tires. The statement is also stupid: “There was a staggering way away in the past, but that’s a popular method, a dissatisfied customer, to keep in mind: “Everybody thinks we’re great, only you always have something to complain about. and I don’t even think I can claim damages. However, I draw the following lessons for myself:
