RAM 1500 from 99 with 164KW ? Search for the TSN in vain
Moin moin together, I have a question regarding a key number for a Dodge Ram. The vehicle was imported by the previous owner from the USA and therefore has as type key number 2 only as so often known zeros. However, if I enter the first registration date of July 1, 1999 in the car letter and in the search 164kW machine I get the notification that this vehicle was built only until 06/1998 in this version. I suspect that the vehicle was built 98 However, I still lack the key number for 2 as repairs have to be carried out. According to Google, the 5.2 L V8 with 164KW has only been installed until 06.1998. In this respect, there is now a small puzzle and hope that someone can help me further. Springleg Camaro 1978 in front sufficient?
Hello all, I am currently restoring a 1978 Camaro and have some questions and hope you can help me. I need new dampers and a new spiral spring in the front, because the parts are defective or almost rusted through. While browsing on Rockauto.com I also found a combined unit for my Camaro (see picture). Now the question: When I install such combined shock absorbers, do I still need the original spiral spring?! Or can I do all this? leave it out and simply install the shock absorber/spring element and everything is good?! Thank you for your answers, I hope you can help me. Greetings Cam

Hello. my getiebe seems to be spinning somehow. Again and again the car ruptures while rolling comfortably in the 4th gear. That’s about as if the gang jumps out briefly. has someone had something like this before or knows what it might be?

*Eldorado-TC cylinder head defective??
Hello everyone. I’m the next with the cylinder head problem. 4.6 he Northstar. I had taken the car to a US workshop because it cooks constantly, especially at mountain ranges. A CO2 test was taken to exclude a cylinder head problem. The test was negative, so first of all good for me. Compression test was okay, pressed off, okay. Suspect was thermostat and water pump. So, let it do…. Then the nasty surprise! The car cooks exactly as before. So wi I think it’s the cylinder head screws, you hear and read a lot about it and that it’s a Northstar disease. If that’s what it is, I’d be happy about nice people who have already done such a repair and can help me. To throw away it’s way too nice. Year 94 and really a great car. Would be nice if a private screwdriver, the spas, would be of course, only the prices that are mentioned in the forum in workshops, I can not pay. I am also happy to join and help. What about truck registration?
Moin, just got my car tax notice from the tax office. Should pay 1268€ tax per year – although my jeep is registered as a “truck open box”. The tax office probably has guidelines that there are certain vehicles (including Jeep) which are admitted as trucks, nevertheless should tax as cars. Supa, wa? Now I pay the state car (the expensive variant) and the insurance truck (also the expensive variant). So the vehicle costs me annually at FIX COST approx. 2,400 euros. ES LEBE DEUTS CHLAND!!!

GMC Acadia vs. Mercedes GL
Moin together, was at the Mi on the IAA to look around for SUV’s with 3 rows of seats….and has to confess that the Mercedes GL with Abtsand has the best processing and the best space, also in the third row, and (more important) behind it. But since March I am diligently collecting information about the GMC Acadia, I have compared now: Loading volume has the Acadia according to paper 1000L more !!!! clearly to be seen on the pictures he also has more space inside. Hello, as already stated in the title I am looking for my ex army chevrolet k30 some NATO parts like the nato clutch. I don’t know exactly how this has to look because it has been removed by the previous owner. maybe someone still has a home he wants to get rid of. furthermore I am looking for the 4 LED camlights that are sunk in the bumper. maybe someone can explain the exact function to me. the switch is still available and the cables are still all available , the leds are only unfortunately all for the German road traffic unrepeatably out of operation. (are installed in the back of the led-camouflage light brake light and closing light? I see there I think 4 single leds in 1 led-camouflage light. why is in the rear led a yellow led and what color are the front leds?) then I need the load class sign or also called troop board. the round sign which sits at the front left of the car on the bumper.
