  • Buick Park Avenue/Le Sabre

Hello! I’ve been playing a park avenue (1991-1996) for some time now. I’ve read a lot about it here in the forum. But now I’d be interested in what’s the difference between a park avenue and a le sabre?? What’s the difference with the gearbox??? do the basically problems? or can you also be lucky and find a PA with a good gear. From what KM performance do the problems start with the gearbox??? Thanks in advance.

  • Buick PA – What do you think?

Hello Us Car fans, I introduce myself first. So my name is Martin and I want to finally fulfill my dream of a beautiful, everyday suitable Ami. Have a 92 Buick Park avenue for around 2000€ in view. The thick one has 160000 km on the clock, the usual rust on the chrome bars and rusted swarmer (one is through.) Otherwise it looks good, test drive was not yet possible, because a brake line is through. But it is still changed, the sweller welded, otherwise – New vibration dampers, new brakes front, new idlers. And the climate needs to be filled. Now the questions: – How can I read out the error codes? – What to consider during the test drive (especially regarding the automatic)? – Other tips for a prospective Buick PA driver…

  • Gas in a lincoln?

hi us car community, who can help me with the following question? I think, my younger lincoln, more precisely a 78th town car, to convert to gas … he has a standard 460 engine which corresponds to 7.5L. can you convert these old v8s unproblematic to gas? or are there problems? if so which? has someone already gained experience? and if it would go, where could you let it be done in Germany? or is there still another way to save sprit … besides steh let … other carburettors and new bridge? with the 6.6l engines of ford the consumption is significantly lower. at the moment I am so at 25-30L … best thanks in advance … dennis

  • TÜV and Americans!! For amusement!

Hey to everyone for the general short amusement before the weekend: I was recently with my 87er K5 (Fullsize) Blazer to the Tüv. They had something to complain about as always… Is just not an exhibition vehicle, but a “everyday vehicle” and also has Macks and rust stilts etc…. But the hammer was the lack “Speedometer” I got the completely standard speedometer, with KM and miles scale. The car is also in Germany in the past 8 years imm only THIS nice expert, didn’t let him get over it because: My speedometer only indicates up to 138 km/h, although in my papers a maximum speed of 152 km/h is registered!!!!!!! I asked him then if we should drive on the highway and he wants to show me how to drive by car 152 km/h, without fear of death (that’s why the box is garnet)…. But no, “considerable lack”, I should install another speedometer, d it shows up to 152… Well, everyone can think of the solution……to the Dekra, to whom this tells, with which together deliciously laugh about the TÜV-type and get the badge! A nice weekend for all of you and continue nitter- and bull-free ride!! Your Stevie

  • Beginner V8 for small money

Hello guys, I’m infected, I’m afraid. After my work colleague, who owns a 66 Mustang in honest condition 3, took me to his garage, I think about buying an Ami after me. A hall would also be available in the near future, and wants to be filled with life. My technical as well as artisanal skills lie, so I would at least estimate that in the upper middle field. So it fits. Most U.S. oldtimers who have H approval At least if they are in the honest state 3. Are there not also “underdogs”, which are not quite so popular but at least just as great!? My requirements would actually be either larger V6 or proper V8, H-admission capability, maximum 7,000 euros. I am looking forward to your answers, if there is such a thing. Greetings Englaender

  • Mustang GT Consulting

Hello I’m new here, …. so I’m going to go straight away ;-D: I’m about to get a 05’er,06’er or 07#er MUSTANG GT. So I’ve got a few questions that hopefully can be answered by some: 1. Who’s better the 05’er, the 06’er or the 07’er? 2. What’s the average insurance cost per year? 3. Can you get a “cruist” 9 liters / 100km? 4. What’s the automatic, (what’s the OVERDRIVE) or is the manual transmission better ( I tend to do this)? 5. What about the bonnet that should be set up during faster rides (fixed at the 07er?) 6. What about underbody protection? 7. What about the torque (is it easy to make a Willie)? 8. How reliable is your ‘Stang ? 9. How bumpy is the rigid axle? 10. Other reviews please …so I think that’s enough for the first time… xD THANK YOU TO ALL BEANTWORTER IN THE PREPARAUS !!!

  • Euro 2 classification but where and by whom???

It’s like being bewitched: For days I’ve been spending on countless web pages just to get the question answered whether my pontiac transam gta with 5.7 liters and 181 kw or just 250 ps in a better pollution class, but so far there have only been cancellations! also in this forum I studied a whiny and didn’t get any further. maybe someone just guessed now? someone has the same car with the same ps number as me (most gta in this forum are weirdly not so strongly motorized from the factory…) and is already in euro 2? around an answer I would be very happy!

  • Survey

Hello people, first of all a praise for this forum.. Since I drive a pick-up and accessories are very expensive to me the idea came to me to introduce parts to Germany in a commercial manner. Due to very good contacts to USA I am able to import parts cheaply. Unfortunately I have to do it business-wise otherwise I get in trouble with the trade office. Now to my question: How do you value the market for imported parts? Lift Kids, suspension lift, rims, tires etc. Which parts will be Are you looking for a market in Germany? Will you ask the question in other forums to get as broad an opinion as possible. I would be happy for constructive answers and opinions. Have a nice evening.
