Have already used the search but only vehicle related baratung found. Is there perhaps a general baratung in the net for US pick-ups? By that I mean. Which models are there, versions, off-road capability, engines (technique), consumption, prices? Almost something where one can deal with the matter if one is a complete Newbie in the field.

Cadillac Recall ?
Moin, at the 05 STS V8 there is a recall regarding problems with the cat. According to Cadillac this applies up to max. 200.000 km or max. 12 years. On request I was told that my vehicle was built for the US market and is therefore not guaranteed in Europe, but only in the USA. In Europe only vehicles which have been manufactured for the EU market are guaranteed. There are possibilities for a warranty claim, except for rebuke shipping 😉

Hello together do you happen to know how this works if I want to buy an Ami in Holland or the other neighboring countries? On the net and in the forum I find only that I have to make a 21er registration but no more. I am interested if I can go to Germany with it and can register with the yellow plates to the road traffic office and then can register accordingly or must be registered in Holland before I import it? And is there anything else to b I have such a car that interests me….but I would also be grateful for internet addresses from the neighboring countries where I can find Americans.. ? Thank you very much…

1973 Lincoln Continental – Window lifter defective – Door panel removed
Good morning, unfortunately I did not find anything with the SuFu, so unfortunately I have to open an extra post again. The window lifter of the passenger door does not work properly anymore, it goes down a little bit and from then on it only ratters. I assume that some gear is defective or that there are some teeth broken, because the engine is still spinning. I have now removed the door panel already, only I come to the upper part, where the handle to pull the door d How is the upper part fixed? Glued, clipped, screwed? I’m also afraid to break something, because interior parts are not so easy to get. Thanks in advance for every tip!

Buy Pontiac Firebird 3.1?
Hello, I drove a Firebird today with the 3.1 liter V6 ( built in 1990 ). Wow has the part a nice sound. But who you go on ́s gas, then there is GARNIX. But I looked at the car in spite of everything and also thought about buying it. Now I wanted to ask you some questions, which I should pay attention to? And what it could be worth? What does such a vehicle consume ( REAL BITTE )? Here the link to the car:http://such en.mobile.de/…/showDetails.html?… So the vehicle is in a good condition, the only thing that is now would be that it doesn’t get any papers for the rims. He doesn’t have the number of rims, but that’s all. He wants 3300€ for the car (I think a lot for such an old box ) where you get the same with less km cheaper. What do you say about it? Here’s a video:http://www.myvideo.de/watch/2571420 So the sound is better in real. for your labors.

Chevy Caprice
Hello I am a week proud Caprice Classic owner! Have of course to you competent experts a few important questions 😉 The car ran on a 07 he number, accordingly he has a selfmade exhaust system under (very loud) which is definitely too loud for the tuv! I have to do Tüv because I don’t get the 07s anymore (bj 83) My workshop means to me I should clean up an original system without a cat (because he has a edelbrook carburetor) and would be 3 inches pipes n with a 5,0 l stupid sense?! If 3 inches then ab bender or?????? What does it look like with the red flashers I have in it you get the one with a kulant tuev registered or is there an absolute no go! Because the one tells it he did not iced the other again what now? How do I go now?? Has one with it already experience? I hope someone can help me! Thank you already

Consumption K5 M1009 on the long distance
Hello all, I have a question about the consumption of my blazer M1009. I’m particularly interested in the range on the highway, my only job is 100 km/h and I wanted to know which range you can expect. Since I have my sabbatical time next year I also want to be a bit on the road. So it’s especially about the consumption of travel and not the general consumption of normal use. MfG Mike

Additional overdrive or longer diff
Hi, he’s not on the road yet, my 78 C10 with 3 gears, but I’m already thinking about how to get the speed down when driving on the highway. I heard there are overdrive gears that you stroll behind the original gearbox, then you just have to cut the cardan shaft. Otherwise I could look for a longer translated diff, but I still have to find out if they can be replaced like that. Or I’m looking for a 3speed with overdrive, it w in the USA also a few offered, but you never know what arrives in Germany and they are so at 1700-2000$, with just a play money for the uncertainty. What are there and what possibilities do I have? I want to keep the 3 gear steering wheel circuit in any case, the 4 gear is switched over shift stick (cut open ground) and automatic falls off with the 250 engine (because hiking dune) Greetings Chris

Exhaust system for 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme
Servus people, I recently acquired a 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme with a 5.7L V8 (about 190 HP) I would like to buy myself a new exhaust system, because the current one is too quiet for a “musclecar” and this one has only a tailpipe on the right side. I am an advocate of symmetry and therefore have to go there two tailpipes. Since I am still relatively inexperienced, I would like to know if anyone has had experiences with this model or similar models/engines and I am interested in I have thought of a Flowmaster or MagnaFlow. Stainless steel definitely, but now I don’t know how much inches and co. I will raise the performance over time I already thanks to you. PS: whether you come through the TÜV is not important
