Hello all. I’ve been having switching problems with my cadillac cts 2 3.6L automatic transmission for more than a year. The switching broblem is as follows. When I drive normally it switches cleanly from 1st to 6th gear. When I give kickdown the engine turns me to the red area, no longer switches into a higher gear and automatically throttles away my gas. If I then go from the gas, it switches again into the next higher gear and drives normally. yes. Gearbox. Control unit in the gearbox. Gm itself says errors unknown. Air filters change and spark plugs. Haha. So, I have read a lot about this crankshaft sensor. Ask you. Could it be the crankshaft sensor? Nothing is stored in the error code. My workshop ( GM representation ) is at the end. So, now to you. Can it help me in God’s name?

Hello dear motor talkers! Gradually I get to know my 1972 Buick Skylark 350 Coupé better. And I have the phenomenon that if he is standing quite hard to wake up from his sleep for a few days. You have to jock at least 5-6 times until the spark comes and starts clean. The Skylark has a noble brok carburetor installed with mech. petrol pump and choke. As soon as he jumps on and runs warm, I can make it on and off as often as possible without any problems. The workshop of my trust meant that he should start with the carburettor without a choke. Moin today I picked up the 86 GMC from Rotterdam..Thanks to marlog NL and berlin motors as always for the good handling…only a flasher glass defective this time… I left the car 3 months ago in Linden, NY….the Americans were once again great in terms of time. Since the car did not sprung up (I solved one of the cables to the pump) account the nix broken….Today at marlog in Rosendaal hood, oil water checked, cables on it…Batteries were a bit nice Awake (also the cables were off) but at least still in order. Start aid, annealing and already the car breathed Dutch air. Papers ready, air controlled and off to the track….Motor purred like a cat, 130kmh as travel speed..small vibrations but nothing moving….We got to Roermond….there had abandoned the pelle FS behind…Tyre damage…to the luck of car lifter spare tires etc. and after 10 minutes we continued.:Backfish dinner in Ro ermond am alten Zollhaus, 5 kilos of coffee and 2 pallets Coke without deposit in the car and further home… Conclusion: car runs great.:Disk wiper bit lansgam…but sondt….perfect box. I’ve been the proud owner of a 2007 Lincoln Town Car for two weeks. I knew that the car “only” reached a top speed of 180 km/h – and since I don’t drive SOOO a lot of BAB, I can live with it. But I thought that you can actually drive this speed without hesitation. OK, it’s like that it gets tough above 160 anyway, but 160 would be desirable. Now I was warned: the gearbox would be too hot if you were to drive more than 160 km/h or Is that really so? Is there any remedy?

I actually had to go on Thursday, but I just read that there is no open hall 9, in which the parts market is accommodated. That’s a big minus for Thursday. Hello guys, I’ve also become an oldtimer driver/owner since May. The vehicle has been restored, new GM engine and new Quick Fuel carburetor is in it. However, the engine runs after shorter rides and quite uneven. The workshop has not really managed to adjust the carburetor, because they hardly know this carburetor. Now it is recommended to me to install an AVS2 650 carburetor from Edelbrock, because it is a lot easy. the proximity of Mössingen near Tübingen, who are familiar with such things. Or what would you recommend to me? The engine is supposed to be running pretty fat and giving gas quite black smoke clouds come out in the back. Please for help. Thank you in advance!
