Hello together, I just wanted to ask you how it is about the mustang from 1969 to 1970. I like these models quite well, but it is mostly about the years before. A 1969 coupé is already to get for about 25 k€. Sure I will then also invest something (must) , only Should it still be kept within limits. But would I be interested, how does such a 1969/1970 Iger Mustang drive in contrast to a 1970 Camaro/Firebird? I wanted to nämlic? h originally once, only the selection is rather small and the prices are indeed astronomical in a good condition. What do you think the Mustang would be an alternative ? What I still notice, the Camaros/Firebirds standing on the net for a long time, sometimes over a year. Is the value possibly in the basement, respectively overrated. It would be nice if you could say something. Best regards Karl

New HEI distributor, engine is running first and then no more.
Hello, I installed a new HEI distributor today, started the engine, ran though, but a bit “fair” (different) than usual. I then drove out of the garage, engine short out because I needed the key, engine again, could then not drive a meter more, engine went off and does not go on now. Does someone have an idea before I start screwing now and do nothing better. Had the spark plug from the first cylinder outside and the valve lid off. until both valves were closed, then I felt the pressure when turning at the spark plug hole. After that I put the ignition masking to 0 degrees at the ignition plate. Oil pump turned so far until the distributor on the first cylinder completely downwards much. A question asked me at this time, if I mark the first cylinder on the distributor body, then I can install the distributor correctly then always turn the distributor body so that the marking of the soldering How do I know I’m really right?

Warning against fraud and identity theft
I’m offering my 79er Cadillac on ebay classifieds. A guy who wants to transfer the full purchase price immediately – without asking much – is signing up. He needs “just” my bank details and address. What should come then: he orders stuff online under my name and bank details (direct debit) and has it delivered to a packing station. I can then argue with suppliers, police and Schufa. Luckily nothing happens. So be on guard: From: RXXXXX

I want you to understand that I am ready and willing to buy it immediately, and please note that I will buy it as a gift for my cousin in the United States and will not inform him until it is delivered to him. Upgrade Q3 purchased in the USA for Germany
Dear community, I’m new here and I’ve already looked around the forum, but unfortunately I couldn’t find a clear statement on the following topic. I also have relatively little idea of cars. A good start, haha… I’m currently living in the USA and am currently thinking about buying an Audi Q3 in 2021. At some point it’s going back to Germany and I’m wondering now:Is it possible to upgrade, and if so, what would it cost? Is probably a stupid question, d a everything is somehow possible. For me, however, only an “official” (e.g. a contract workshop) would be possible. No hack, no online offer in the sense of “we can do everything”, etc. If I have understood this correctly so far, for example, sham throws as well as the MMI would have to be replaced because of Navi and Radio. Somewhere I have read that the ECU might cause problems, but I do not know exactly what it has on it, and whether actually no possibility is possible. I am looking forward to your answers, thank you very much in advance ! Cheers, 007Kofferraum

Cooler and transmission oil cooling
Evening. My question is who is familiar with the cooling system. I mean a cooler with additional oil connections. Is that advisable to prevent and use it? Or is that advised off… The gear oil to cool over it. My view is not that the hit or.? Think about it when the water leaks cooling run and gets into the part of the oil circuit. And you don’t notice that, it does a lot of damage to the gear. Or? Isn’t it better a n External oil cooler to use. ? Or do I see this wrong. Mh ??

No twisting of the wheels possible
Hello, I recently drove a 6.6 trans at (403 Oldsmobile). We were 3 people in the vehicle (all light weight) and when I started I had kicked the accelerator completely through and I thought that the tires do at least half a turn, but nothing. Since I have little idea of these old engines is my question about you, is that normal, or lacks the engine compression or something like that. Thanks already for your answers.

Purchase advice Ford Mustang 3.7 V6
Hello together, I would like to buy a Ford Mustang 3.7 V6 from year 2015, automatic. I am a total newcomer with this car, love the pony since I can think. What do I have to take into account to avoid a mispurchase ? What I know is everything through forums and research: That the brakes should be e.g. from Brembo. Chassis changed and lights, with German registration. Whether it has an underbody protection. Via Carfax let check whether accident cars. Whether limiters still inside Is the motor robust? What problems does it cause? Conversion to gas with BRC, cost? Is the engine gas suitable, i.e. does this seal ring have for the pistons, so that they do not hit against metal without gasoline? What else is there to consider and what can you recommend to me? Will you look at some on Thursday, also an EcoBoost, but would like to have a V6 suction cup. Tricks and information open. Hope you can help me. Because only a healthy pony is a good pony!

58 Buick Super Riviera Special restore?
I’m looking for people who have the experience of restoring a 58 Buick Super Riviera. I’m new in the field and I’d like to know how elaborate it is to repair the bodywork or what it looks like with the spare parts supply. It’s clear that for a 60-year-old car the parts are no longer available at every corner, but basically it’s always the part for an Ami merh or less easy to get. hbarort looks, that needs to be restored. What is positive in my opinion: engine runs, discs are ok and obviously all chrome-mounted parts, at least, are available. Negative: coach looks pretty finished and the VK wants to have much too much money for it. My hope: that the caro-series rel. is simply built up and you can easily get spare parts. Workshop and welding machine is available. Would be happy about a few reviews. Greetings Andreas

4 pillar lift for Mercedes Youngtimer – Restrictions?
Hello, I’m on the side of building and, among other things, a hall for my car hobby belongs to it. Despite great car enthusiasm, it lacks experience when screwing (is often too cumbersome for me without a lockable hall with stage). Currently tends to a 4-pillar lifting platform (e.g. from Twinbusch with mobile kit and axle-free lifters), because: – Mobile (to screw I place it in the middle and if nothing is standing, to the edge as double car + a car next to it) – if I later another hall with another stage möc hte, has it as a double parker still a benefit – cheapFor reasons of space, otherwise only one in the ground would be in question (underfloor lift) and because we start with the foundations, I would have to decide this promptly – although the completion of the hall probably lasts forever… Since I am mainly interested in Mercedes Old/Youngtimer (70s to 90s; currently W202 and C126), I wanted to ask you what you think about it. Here you might find people from different series. Are there any significant restrictions that you wouldn’t have on a stage with swivel arms, for example? Of course there are still other vehicles / brands in question, but since this always changes, mentions are meaningless. Greetings
