  • Remove the steering pole switch for the ignition lock?

Hello, can someone help me here? In my pickup there is a steering column from an Ami Limo from the 70s built in. Now I have to install a new ignition lock because the key was missing. I found the suitable ignition lock, but could not get the old one out. Does anyone know from which car the steering column comes or how I get to the locking of the ignition lock? Do the whole switches really have to be removed? If yes, how does the S Do you need a puller? I have already drilled the old lock, but the case does not go out. The logo on the steering wheel is a red golden hexagon. Here are some more pictures of it.

  • Import large U.S. mobile home A-class

Hello, on the next occasion I would like to buy an older camper from the USA. I belong to the classic car scene (PKW, but sorry, no US-cars), just for this reason it is now to become an older US-model, e.g. Bluebird about 33 – 35 ft length, which should run here (in D) with H-marks. Has someone imported such a large vehicle and how would the registration be possible since there will be hardly any documents? Please don’t discuss now about sense, style etc., also about the actual n Import costs such as freight, customs, EUSt I am aware, my question here is rather addressed to the technically experienced among you. Are there serious companies here or over who help with such a large car? Thank you for your help and best regards H.

  • Cadillac Seville STS 32V Northstar

Hello. I registered a problem with above mentioned vehicle on 29.04.94 with 220 KW. At the last gear change was a half hand full of scouts in the filter. During the holidays in Croatia in the midday time in a very heaty, part of the landscape at once the Servive light went on and it did not switch up into the 3/4 gear. After downhill light remained on, the transmission switched on again. On the home drive the speedometer failed, and at the first gas giving over 200kmh before Munich gi ng when going down to 130kmh and after that the rev indicator goes up again but the car didn’t pull any more in the last gear. I then let it go home. Now it no longer switches into the fourth gear. When Service lights up, it drives quite normally to the third gear. Sometimes while driving, the service lights off, then it no longer switches up from the 1st gear and pulls as if it were idle. In the meantime, the LM also doesn’t always go and the bab Äse goes to although the car is off. In the Cadillac workshop the master told me after the test drive that the gearbox is defective. At the machine it was not. Could that be just an electronic problem? Could have near an STS approved on 7.7.95 with 224KW and accident damage. Does there fit the engine with gearbox? In advance thank you for the help.

  • Restoration of a Monte Carlo Landau 78

Hello guys… I’ve been proud owner of a Monte Carlo Landau 78 since last week… My firm goal is to breathe new life into the car and completely overtake and restore the Phoenix… 81 was registered for the first time and is therefore in 2 years more valued on an H – license plate… so that he gets the H but I want to leave everything in the original condition… I want to equip the monte with autogas, of course a modern system, so that the H license plate is not dangerous where do I get infos about which modifications (tuning) etc. were carried out at the time, so which modifications can I perform on the car and thus do not get any problems with the TÜV… I am interested in the chassis, engine, actually everything about the vehicle… who can help me and tell me where I could get this information…? Also interesting for me would be, which painting the guys from chevrolet offered for the monte at that time, as I also have an original la ckierung would need! Dear greeting By the way, there is the old box… not yet a piece of jewelry… but in the future perhaps!

Hi together Have you seen automobiles today? Especially the contribution just before the end? Then one of them tears a beautiful V8 out of his 72 LeMans and fryes a turbocharged 3.0 V6 from a 90s Toyota Supra into the beautiful car. Then he proudly tells that he made the climate compressor of the Supra to the Intercooler to cool the intake air. And he also calls the whole thing Pontiac LeSupra And the reason for this masacar should be the environmental protection? Because the Supar engine weni I can’t tell you that he now needs so much less than before. He too should suck his 20l/100km into the engine.http://www.chromjuwelen.com/en/german-engineering/chromjuwelen-garage/ I have a lot to do for crafts when they’re done well. And everyone is ultimately free to decide what to do with his car. But with such “Arbe I have a longing for tar and feathers. Greetings Tac

  • Tahoe has to leave – unfortunately…

Hello forum! Since my girlfriend is now unfortunately (because of the car) pregnant, the Tahoe has to go, because it will be too expensive in the long run, and we now have to look at how much is really about at the end of the month. Since she was never really excited about the part, this is now quite according to her idea. However, I don’t want to live completely without Ami-V8, which everyone will probably understand, who once had “so something”. The search in the forum did not reveal so much, what my question clarifies. I talked to her about buying something like a Sunday car, and I/we would already be interested in a Ford Ranchero. Unfortunately, I am not quite up to date about the prices in the usable (without having to do much about it, because I don’t have so much time on my job) condition, spare parts market ect.. The Tahoe was actually out most of the time, but what might not be possible with a Ranchero? A garage would theoretically be available. Is the Ranchero suitable as a daily driver? (would only be about 20km a day) Thank you for your answers and help! Best regards, S. + A.K.
