  • Delco battery vs “Billig battery”

    I have a Delco 75-6YR battery in my 89er Chevy beretta and have asked myself several times if the thing is probably original, because in my three previous berettas the cheap batteries were installed. Cheap batteries are quite good and just wondering if it would be worthwhile to change the wiring so that I don’t have to buy such an expensive delco battery every six to seven years.   • US wheel caps 15″ by 70s on VW 15″ steel rims of today??

    Hi, I had looked at the bay wheel caps of US models of the 70s and I liked them quite well, so I had the idea to build such wheel caps on my golf, so as old school look. Since there are from the Passat 15″ steel rims with my connection that is already no problem. Only now I do not know if the wheel caps would fit at all on the rims?? Maybe one of you already has fun or seriously, however tried out, whether the on the 15″ from VW fit?? Would I also be happy about optically similar wheel cap suggestions that could fit.     Hello, I am currently looking for an oldtimer (Corvette, Firebird etc.). Now I have come across a Firebird of the first genration, which has various modifications. Before I lead big negotiations with the seller, I wanted to ask if you could get an H-mark here with the engine/gear. Without H such a vehicle is not really worth it. Verbaut is a 383 Stroker (I go from Chevy, is usually like that) with ceramic header, a 700R4 Gearbox and a 850cfm carburetor. Otherwise a few other little things, which should not fall into the weight. The vehicle is in an “original look”, only the engine compartment looks a bit more shiny 😉 Short and scarce: H-mark possible? Also about a workshop, not private.   • 78er Chevy C10 Short Bed, brake back makes too fast

    Hi, I have a problem with the brake. All brake lines, hoses, BKV are new. On the brake test stand everything looks good, but when you drive, the rear wheels block in front of the front. It is empty simply too light in the back. My mechanic said that there are brake pressure regulators with fixed values, which are dragged into the line to the rear. Ignition module, ignition coils, ignition cable, crankshaft sensor, camshaft sensor, Lambda probe, poti on the air volume meter, gasoline filter and the engine control unit and then also the EE-PROM, which is in the control unit, the injection nozzles were cleaned and the actuators all have uniform resistance values. But unfortunately NO success. Now all the people around the car are standing around and have smoking heads, because nobody knows where to look. Now I am looking for someone who has the golden idea what that could be. The vehicle is sold and the customer should get a car with which he can drive without restrictions.
