Holly carburettor gasket set from where? Hello, have now my Cadillac Eldorado Convertible on Rügen. Is already a great ship for cruisen. Only it does not run perfectly. The second stage of the Holly carburettor does not want. If I step on it the Caddy spits only. Is a 8194cm3 cylinder capacity with 150KW at 3600RPM according to vehicle letter. Edelbrock 1406 goes out when warm in standgas
moin, have the following problem: My 5.7 he engine goes off when engine is warm in the stand gas. It is a 1406 he carburetor from noblebrock on it. after that I brought him only once with a lot of gas and cough to run. after that was finished. Car was now in a garage over the winter. Ignition cable and candles new. Battery new. Mix screws 2 1/4 revolutions turned out. Choke completely open. Ideas? Thanks in advance

Problems with Raid HP Sport additional instruments
Hello, I have the following problem. I drive a Chevy K30 ex military. Now these vehicles have no display instruments installed. However, since I would like to have some information about pressure and temperatures to spare the engine/gear, I have installed instruments from Rais HP. So far, this has also worked well. If I turn on other consumers (e.g. charging surface lighting) the instruments start to spin(e.g. the oil pressure drops completely and the outside temperature drops off I turn it off again everything is normal. The instruments are connected as indicated in the description. The duration plus has its own fuse in the fuse box. Since the vehicle has a large mass rail, the ground lines are connected to it. Ignition plus is connected to ignition plus. Does anyone have an idea what this can be or what I did wrong? Am really in despair because I can’t find the mistake.

Moin! The customs objected to the Chevy K30 wrote a nice letter to my friend asking for the roll-over bar and the raising of the vehicle. (see picture in the appendix.) Problem will be that the customs otherwise reclaims 19% fairy tale tax on the purchase price if this is not original. Partially paint US vintage car
Hello, I would like to have a new vinyl roof made with my 76er Cutlass, since the last two years several rust pimples have formed (below the surrounding) decorative strip and directly at the roof above. My questions: • Should the roof be painted under the vinyl? Or just primed? • How does the rear window (or rear window frame) go out? • 2 years ago a rust spot (picture 1) was repaired directly below the decorative frame (i.e. at the transition to the fender) This place unfortunately gets through again, the paint is minimally lifted. Since the car has already been repainted in the USA is not sure whether it is still a thermal varnish…..as said, however, 2 years ago the faeces have already been repainted with “normal” paint. Who can give me tips on how to do this or on what to take care of. I had it like this: vinyl roof down, remove rust and, if necessary, tingle, prime the roof and if necessary. paint and also paint the transition to the fender (remove the newly created bubble), new vinyl roof on it. I’m looking forward to the answers.

Pontiac does not start after winter break
Yesterday I wanted to get my Pontiac Catalina, Bj 1973 out of 6 months of hibernation. Battery in, key turned upside down, several times torpedoed and she ran short and then went out. I didn’t get it anymore… carburetor was probably flooded. Was there again today… new attempt, she shook herself briefly and no more. I noticed that with an open air filter gasoline is splashing out of the small hole on the carburetor, so without giving gas, only at the organ. I usually handle them like this, push through 2x gas, then start. When standing up for a while, she’s ticking again and again… I haven’t found out the procedure yet. Thank you for your help!

hello dear community, short to me:I have not been actively involved in the forum so far, always read only. from now on I’m with you 🙂 now to my problem: it’s a buick roadmaster from 1956.322 cui with dynaflow automatic transmission. start of the engine over once entering the gas pedal. the engine starts(gasifier=rochester 4 compartment=was already disassembled, cleaned and resealed),if I give in running engine,in stand gas,gas,it swallows itself,or in other words,it takes the gas Not immediately, only if the speed is slightly higher then it comes on tour.I have to say that the ignition has already been tried to adjust something (rotate the distributor head) as well as the adjustment screws on the carburetor the settings of the buick shop manual(workshop manual).It is further that, when the engine is running, the speed of the drive stage D or L goes into the cellar, which the car almost runs out,and by that it is the gas as described above bad accept,then run out of gas. am a little desperate to have for every idea. wish you all a good slip(not with the car 🙂 greetings from the thomas area
