After according to “Norske” the forum community was really annoying with my search, here the “feet piece”. 1966 Catalina 4-Door Hardtop. Pictures say the rest. Unfortunately, I had to notice unpleasant things yesterday: In addition to the cooling water filling cover a small hose goes down, probably to regulate overpressures, from this came liquid yesterday with whitish foam. Guess of me, since here in the forums already written, cylinder head seal defective. Is that so right? If the gasket is defective, then you can still drive, or you have to repair it immediately. I’ve had the problem for a long time that I lost cooling water, but I didn’t see where! Temperature problems I had the last time too. Can it be that I broke the gasket? So again many questions, I hope someone can help me. Greetings vodkaa

Show me your lights!
So with the most beautiful I find at US Car ́s the sound and the all around lighting, therefore I have set times 2 photos. Would also like to see your lighting. The nice is that my orange standlight is registered 🙂 When blinking the inner standlight alternates with the outer blinker, looks really great in the dark, not to mention the rear red turn signals.

Carburettor, but which one??CFM???
I don’t have a single part of it yet. I want to do it all together, because every part of it has to be right on the other side. But when choosing the carburetor I don’t quite know?! Can I calculate the CFM? If yes, how? Do I need to know the final performance that I want to give my engine to select the carburetor based on the size or the flow rate? Many advise me to nem Edelbrock, others to nem Holley. They say it is difficult to adjust. That makes me stubborn. help anyone to do that?? Thank you.

Unbalanced joint shaft
Over the winter I have renewed the completely worn middle bearing of my joint shaft. It is behind the gearbox in front of the push piece of the shaft. With the old bearing I had a “rappling” under the car at certain speeds. Today I made the first bigger ride, and the rappling is indeed gone, but it vibrates tremendously and only around 60km/h. At higher speeds it completely disappears, it runs e.g. 100km/h absolutely calm. My question: Has already m If someone wants to balance a joint shaft, and if so, where and what does that cost?? Or could this also have other causes vibrating? Doesn’t feel like tire imbalance, the steering wheel remains completely calm, but the whole car “shakes”. No nice driving… Can anyone help?

5.3 liter Vortec and LPG
Hello dear community, I have here an offer of a large Pick Up dealer available. Here it is about a Suburban 5.3 which I want to have immediately converted from the dealer to LPG. He immediately, without catching up, pointed out the problems with the valve seats and offered a corresponding solution, hardening the valve seats. I find it for the first time nice that is pointed out at all possible difficulties. I am still unsure. Are there any experiences on your part about this Motor or LPG in the American? Can one of the LPG drivers say something to me about a realistic consumption with LPG and a 5.3 Vortec. I would be very happy about that.

New US Car Driver -93 Chrysler Saratoga 3.0 V6
Moin, I did it today. I bought me a 93 Chrysler Saratoga 3.0 V6. Equipment is üpopig, only the climate doesn’t work. The checkbook is well filled. Price was originally 250€, but could press the price to 2000€. Automatic oil still has to be changed, but still looks red. Teeth rubbing was renewed at kilomterstand 75,000, still have a few kilometers of peace. The engine is a dream (power, sound) simply fantastic. The automatic switches buttery soft u nd always finds the right connection. The comfort is great, but I don’t really like the 190, but it’s still very pleasant. I also like the suspension very well. So nice soft on floor waves. Tomorrow I register the good piece, I already have a double card and then there are pictures. Here a few in advance. The best thing is: Today 15 years ago was his ez. If this is not a good basis for a successful cooperation. Greetings

Chevy G20 – Basic questions before purchase (LPG, taxes, etc.)
Hi, since I am completely new here I introduce myself first: I am the Max, living in Bavaria, am 18 and musician. Since I need a very big car for my band (i.e. rather a van) and I do not like modern plastic slings at all in contrast to my peers, but on V8 Amis, my choice now fell on a Chevy G20. I don’t have a certain one in mind yet, year should be so 86-91, LPG MUST be because we will be touring a lot, otherwise s should it only be able to be prepared with acceptable financial effort (everything is done by myself, my dad is a car dealer and mechanic and has great contacts in the direction of when he doesn’t know what to do.) So in advance, I’ve already experienced a lot through the SuFu but various questions remained unanswered or unclear: 1. Is it no longer possible to convert it to Euro 2 by KLR from a certain year on? 2. Are there gas systems that make the conversion to Euro 2 impossible? ? 3. If I have a gas system, how much fuel does the van need about every time before switching to LPG? That would be the most important things, more special might come then if I have one or more more closer in the eye. Finally, I just want to say that one should not conclude on my ability to deal with such a part because of my age, if anyone should do this here ;] I know very well that an old G20 requires extremely much care and work and often Pro bleme can do as some other car / van, but that’s exactly what I think is part of it… I’m just born in the wrong country and 30-40 years too late for cars :[ Greetings, max

Brake power amplifier works wrong!!!
Hello everybody, I’m new here, and I might be looking for the solution to my problem this way. Screw around my 68 Ford Mustang Coupe for about half a year and I’m almost finished for the first Tüv performance. Unfortunately, I’m stuck with the following problem: I had a brake power amplifier with main brake cylinder ( one unit ) sent from the USA for retrofitting for this model (which had no amplifier before! ). So now I’ve got the old main brake I found that the pressure shot into the brake fluid tank, so I vented it with the lid. After the airing, I got the vacuum from a free, well-sucking connection to the carburetor. I thought everything was done and put myself in the car and started the engine. Now I have absolutely no brake pressure with the running engine!! If the engine is standing, my brake pressure is back! Fr age: Have I made a mistake when installing it? Can someone give me a good tip? I’m already playing with the idea of building everything back and driving it to Tüv without a brake booster. I’m grateful for any help! Greeting Dave

Shelby GT500 rims ?
Hello, I’m looking for the rims of the Shelby GT500 for a 2013 Mustang GT. Here’s a picture:https://www.autoevolution.com/…/…ang-shelby-gt500-review-2014.html As the rims seem to be original from Ford, you should be allowed to mount them on normal GT 5.0 without entry, right? I can’t find these rims anywhere in Germany, do you know a source of supply?
