  • EEC4 Learning???

Hello together, has an experience with learning from this control unit (EEC 4)As far as I know this control unit has to be relearned after the battery disconnect, that means it forgets all calibration data??? My problem is that my control unit throws out every time the error mixture too thin, but the candles look good electrode gray and the rest black.I exclude leaks because I bathed the whole intake tract in brake cleaner, as well as the petrol pressure is ok , filters and tank and pump are new.Air mass meter is new, Ignition control unit distributor cap , fingers , cables and candles are also new… Does anyone have any idea yet learn ??? have not driven longer distances yet

  • GM V8 5.7l

Hello! I’m not so familiar with the American engines (so not at all). A buddy has a GM 5,7l V8 standing around in his garage and I have also found interest in the topic. Now a few questions. Which gearbox can you get to these motors?…are there also manual gearboxes for this? The motor holders come from a good position and it looks like the whole “without” much effort could fit into an A Omega…at least of the dimensions. Does one know? The motor h at also no big electronics.. Interruptor motor and have no ECUs!? So which engines from which vehicles of GM with which transmissions could fit? Difficult to formulate all this, but as I said: have no idea of yet. Thanks for any kind answer!

  • E-lights / dealers?

Hello, where do you get your German or E-marked headlights? I inquired and at KTS they should probably cost almost 500€ the piece! Is there still a dealer, or maybe only reflectors? Smoked headlights for my Olds Delta 88! How about special permissions?

  • W123 (BJ/02/79) “Refitting” belts on the rear bench

Hello, the 123er has never disappeared from my wish list and currently the thing boils up again – today I looked at an amazingly well received one here around the corner, a dealer sells the green bullet for a woman over 80 years old who bought the car as an annual car from Mercedes; the car has always been maintained at the dealer and accordingly thick stamped the service booklet. The substance is amazingly good, only 130,000 km and against 4,000 euros you can actually not say anything about the H-approval. A little unsightly, because supposedly very thirsty, is the carburetor engine (230) – which would be to be hurt, because for environmental reasons, I install an LPG system in all cars anyway. This is perhaps the good news for those who are planning to do similar things. My problem is that the car has not been fitted to the backseat, and that it is now difficult for me to say the best thing about the rear seat belt.
