Moin Leude! Since no workshop can help me anymore, I hope that one of you has a solution. The following problem: -I start my 91er Buick Park Avenue 3.8V6 TPI. – about 10 seconds is everything OK – Then it only runs on 5 cylinders – Problem child is always only the 2nd cylinder. – after 3 to 6 km drive this 2nd cylinder still decides to work – then everything goes well until I put the bowl down. – whether cold or warm start – at the next start The procedure starts from the front. Work already done: – new petrol filter – new ignition – new ignition cable (all tested > OK) – petrol system cleaned – new AC-Delco spark plugs (also already exchanged) – all injection nozzles ultrasonic-cleaned and exchanged – new injection nozzle plug for the second cylinder – all contacts cleaned The box does not run round at first, although the candle ignites, the nozzle cleaned, and the control cable provides signal. H from even the ignition cables exchanged between each other – so I changed everything to exclude defective parts. Nevertheless, only the second cylinder makes bitches. And after a few minutes drive everything suddenly works perfectly again. I now put out a reward for the one who can solve the problem (n’Kastn Bier ? …) it greets, Jürgen

Hello, I have a problem with the Buick Park Avenue decorative moulding fixtures. According to the GM parts dealer, these plastic parts are no longer available for the model year 91. You can only order the complete decorative strip (your wide chrome “molding” at the door) and a conversion set for the “old” door. Since the replacement of the decorative strip for 2 doors almost corresponds to an economic total damage, and the brackets of the 92′ model definitely do not fit (good teaching money paid), I am looking for a replacement this way. Maybe someone has killed a 91’er and has now possibly decorative mouldings and holders left. Greetings Holger

Some people complain that the petrol and co are too expensive. I don’t want to know what happens if they should read this and actually happen. So when I was refueling today, the gentleman from the gas station pointed out to me that I should bunker a few liters more at home. My counter question “Why?” he answered by saying that the liter price for petrol should rise to 1,30€ for the time being; and during this year, he should then continue to practice. I don’t know if it’s true. I think driving a car is becoming more and more a luxury. What’s the matter with this shitty state? I’d like to know what’s going on in the sick minds of our politicians. What happened to the Schröder a few weeks ago should be driving each one of the spades again. They’re very tired of their ass. I wouldn’t even feel sorry for it. Supposedly, all MT US-Car Forum users would meet with their cars (those who own several, it is all mean) somewhere to a common exit. If then the tanker starts, it would be interesting to know how much liters of spritt (whether diesel or petrol) the tanker would have in stock. So, how much will your sweetheart consume on 100 Km? Since this information can fluctuate strongly with an ami, I suggest that we specify a normal and a lead foot value. Will say “normal” = how much you consume on average, and “lead foot” = how much you consume when you go full throttle. Counted as in the other thread, i.e. each adds its consumption to the total value (min+X and max+x). ———————————————————————————————- So I’ll start then. Hello I have the task before me, unfortunately, on the above mentioned vehicle to bring the air conditioning again to run, as well as to miss the engine a clean run. To the engine at the moment unfortunately I can not say much, except that it is a V8 on which a Carter carburettor is installed. According to the exhaust gas values, however, something is not true, than the carburettor adjustment. I almost suspect that the valves are not set correctly and not completely close. r Literature I find only always that these V8 from Chrysler had already 1972 Hydrostössel, but they want to be adjusted exactly. If someone can tell me more about it, can one do it like with the old GM/Opel engines with the running engine? Then a problem with the climate. It lacked the compressor including mounting material. Unfortunately I find nowhere pictures, what these fixing angles look like, where they are screwed, and how the compressor is screwed to it. With the Res. (New compressor available) Achja, if someone knows the correct amount for the air conditioning system at R12 and/or R134a, I would be grateful. Moin, I’m thinking if I should buy a Challenger SRT8, and now the question arises if the things are actually suitable for winter, i.e. cavity sealing, because the amis don’t have that with the durability. Would be nice if I would get some answers. Thanks in advance!

Hi together, I live in Dubai and will soon move back to Germany. I am thinking of importing a couple of years old full-size pick-up truck from the USA or choosing from the stock in Germany (mainly RAM, what it looks like). I find these things just super cool and practical for my hobbies (racing cart, motocross, bike, kayak, etc.) and it would be a more suitable vehicle if there was really snow or it was in the mountains go (my main car is simply too powerful for this and does not have enough ground clearance). Specifically, I am interested in models with extended/double cab and 6’7 charging area, prefers Silverado, Sierra and RAM. Ranger/Colorado/Amarok/Navara/L200/etc. by the way, do not come into question, because the loading areas are simply too small and I do not want diesel. I will move to a big city in Germany’s southern half and there also quite close to the center in a new building with underground garage (no duplex). The pick-up would be used mainly for the mentioned hobbies and alpine excursions on weekends, or sometimes for visiting IKEA/OBI and the trip to the Western Local (pst, not a word to my wife!). Now I just wanted to collect feedback and experiences from owners/drivers of such vehicles which they use in similar ways and surroundings. Do you regret the purchase? What are the biggest problems and challenges in “city operations”? What else is it no I’m looking forward to your feedback. Best regards, Phil

Hello I’m about to buy me a S197 Ford Mustang GT Bj 2014. The car is not an accident from Lithuania. Since I only drove German manufacturers and partly repaired (Mercedes) I would now like to make a little bit of a smart about possible problems. My questions: What should you know about the engine? Are there any diseases or known problems? In my opinion, the 5.0 V8 should be quite solid. Read out or which diagnostic software should be acquired? (So far I have had quite good experience with Delphi, but my software is only suitable for EU vehicles.) What should be taken into account when buying special or general? I am grateful for any tips and suggestions.

If I start my Chevy cold it runs very unevenly and not by itself. Probably all cylinders also run with it. Is it after about 6-7 minutes warm is everything great. A consumption of over 25l Super with quiet driving is even for a 350ci quite much as I find.
